If you like peace and quiet, you will love this place. It is very spacious and the bath rooms are roomy. The only complaint I have is with the house keeping provided by Vacasa. The windows above the kitchen sink were very dirty,

The house was great there were 8 of us 4 adults and four children. Even though it rained for 3 days we all had a great time. They went paddle boarding , fishing and we went to the Little Wilson Falls and the B52 site.

Loved this home and it's private location. Accessible home and ramp to the dock were great for my blind wife and elderly dog. The loons were plentiful and listening to them sing at all hours was delightful. We saw a doe and fawn, along with bunnies on the road to the camp.

We had a wonderful stay at Sunrise Cottage for my parents 50th anniversary. The ramp to the dock was perfect for my mother who is handicapped. I loved the swing chair on the porch. The nearby town of Greenville was very quaint and had great restaurants, shops, ice cream, and a tour boat.

We loved our stay in this cozy cabin. Our group was a total of 8, 4 adults plus 4 almost adult children. We were very comfortable in the space. We cooked several meals at home during our stay and found the kitchen very well stocked with pots, pans, utensils and dishware. We enjoyed a lot of time by the firepit and dock, as well as out on the kayak and canoe (both 2 seaters). One of the perks of this stay over others we have had in the area is the supply of firewood and accessibility of the garbage and recycling center. There are also two other cabins with the same owner at this property if you are traveling with a larger group, and while they are close, this cabin is very private from the other two. Highly recommend visiting The Stress Free Moose restaurant in town and the B52 crash site. We love this area and look forward to returning next year. Thanks for a great stay!

This is our 4th visit. My 81 year old mother really enjoys this annual getaway in the beautiful Greenville area. The cottage is spacious and accommodating and the new fire pit is a wonderful bonus. We’re already talking about next year’s visit.

Truly an amazing property, we will definitely be back! This was our first trip in a few years and our daughter who uses a wheelchair was thrilled to be able to access the full property. We were able to bring her toilet seat that rolls over the toilet and into the shower with us, making her feel right at home. She loved rolling down to the water and being able to watch our dog swim and play. A big thank you for having an accessible property!

Peaceful getaway
This is our 4th visit. My 81 year old mother really enjoys this annual getaway in the beautiful Greenville area. The cottage is spacious and accommodating and the new fire pit is a wonderful bonus. We’re already talking about next year’s visit.

It was absolutely breathtaking!! The pond if you can call it that was beautiful and bigger then any pond I’ve ever seen. My daughter was in love with the kitchen and everything they had there for you to use. The kids love the the kayaks and canoes during the day and playing the board games at night. Beautiful location
This was the perfect place to escape and unplug from everyday life. The house itself is beautiful, clean, and easily accommodated our family. Getting down to the water is a short walk along the ADA complaint ramp. This property is in a private, remote area with picturesque views all around.

Another Great Stay
Once again, we were not disappointed in our stay at Sunrise Cottage. This is our 3rd year we have stayed here and we look forward to keep coming back. We purchased a new pontoon boat this year which we kept at Beaver Cove Marina for the week. Holly & Donna were excellent hosts as always and it is so close to the camp that we spend as much time as we can on Moosehead. Days were spent on the lake or downtown and nights were spent relaxing or fishing and swimming on Prong Pond. It is so hard to find a truly wheelchair accessible vacation rental and this hits every mark.
Thank you again Richard for this gem. We look forward to our stay next year and as long as you will have us.

A little slice of heaven in Maine
We had an amazing stay and just what we needed. We used this as a family vacation for my family, my brother and my elderly mom. My nephew is wheelchair bound and my mom uses a walker. This was perfect, they had the ability to move around freely and access the majority of areas on the property. We hope to make this annual stay and can't wait to book for next year!
