We were stopping by for two nights on our way home to NY. We discovered Cedar Key last year and fell in live with the place. The hurricane took out last years stop so we found this townhome instead. Where to start? Location is fabulous. Facility has everything we could want. Super clean and did i mention the location? We will be back for another visit, way too much kayaking to do

Had a great time. Condo was very clean and well stocked. Property managers were very helpful and easy to reach. Beautiful sunrise view right on the water. Condo has alot of stairs but overall very nice.

This was our first time in Cedar Key and we fell in love with the town and this vacation home! It’s just as described- clean, comfortable and in a perfect location too. We enjoyed watching the dolphins and boats from the balconies- such a peaceful few days.
We were within walking distance to restaurants and shops. The area is very quiet at night- just how we like it. Check in was easy and straightforward. Questions were quickly answered. We received helpful tips and ideas via email and text- which we greatly appreciated. They are a fantastic and responsive property management company!
The home is well stocked. We had everything we needed and more. The king bed was firmer and the queen bed a bit plusher- bed comfort is critical and we slept well! Our time was too short and we were sad to leave- Cedar Key now has a piece of our hearts! Will definitely be back!

Nice condo had everything we needed, great location. Cedar Key is still rebuilding but most everything was up and running. I would recommend a visit to Cedar Key and our stay in this condo was very enjoyable.

Great seafood, great town, great place! and a great view. We watched dolphins feeding up and down the channel every day, along with lots of other wildlife plus the beautiful scene of the ocean, sky, and the lush island in the distance. Very relaxing!

The townhouse is as warm upstairs and cold downstairs. I think it just so hot his time of year it was hard to enjoy the area. The townhouse was equipped ok but nothing was xtra.

This was our first time to Cedar Key and Salt Life 2. The condo was very clean and perfect for us and our Dog.. loved how clean everything was and the condo had everything we needed

Parked our car and walked everywhere.. great restaurants The Island Room restaurants at cedar cove was very good.. 83 west.. steamers.. 1842 for breakfast.. all were fabulous

If you are looking for a quiet little place on the gulf, this is it. Cedar key is a small town on the gulf coast. About 2 1/2 hours from Orlando. It is worth the drive. There’s a small beach and a number of places to dine. It’s a quaint town, which appears to close up around 9 PM. But if you’re looking for relaxation, this is it. Two beautiful decks, a great view of the gulf, dolphins swimming in the waters every day, and the place was very clean and neat. Air conditioning felt great on a hot day.

My husband and I have stayed in Cedar Key many times over the years. We have stayed in many different places and enjoyed them all. However, Salt Life was absolutely heavenly and became a favorite! Loved being able to wake up and look out to the water from my bed. Took several naps on the porch listening to the water below hit the rocks, and of course the dolphins are always present to entertain.
Note: TV in bedrooms not working/not hooked up. Although we did fine with the multiple stairs, some may have difficulty with the 2 sets of narrow stairs. Rails were definitely a plus.

Close to downtown-we walked everywhere!!! Rented a golf cart one afternoon and went around the area! Wish we could have seen the sunrises or sunsets from our place but other than that it was as great!!!

Great space feels more like staying in a home than a hotel. We rented a golf cart and had a parking spot for it which was nice instead of it sitting outside. The home is spacious, and we had plenty of room to spread out. The views from both decks in the unit are amazing. This unit is very close to town, and we could walk or have a short golf cart ride to get to anything we wanted to. The only difficulty was the 2 flights of stairs. My husband has bad knees and a bad back, so the stairs were difficult for him to climb. The only bathroom is on the top floor of the unit near the bedrooms which was nice for getting up in the middle of the night or in the morning, but when we were relaxing in the living room/kitchen area you had to climb the stairs to go to the only bathroom.

The first night, the waves were lapping on the rocks below. What an awesome sound. So soothing and relaxing. The dolphins put on a show the second night we were there. They were having so much fun jumping and flipping~! Love the area, not congested and kind of "quaint".
Only drawback? The stairs were problematic for us. The bottom stairs definitely need a railing of some kind. Other than that, everything was perfect~!

This place is everything and some. Everything I hoped it would be. I didn’t know anything about Cedar Key prior to going on this vacation. It’s only about 700 people that live there year around and not many African American people at allllll. So I must admit I was a bit nervous about that. But everyone was friendly and we had an amazing time. We enjoyed the tour on the water to see all the different islands and the birds nesting. All of the other reviews are absolutely accurate. We stayed 5 days and got to see a dolphin show with a family of about 8 dolphins every single day. It was truly amazing how active they were. I’ll definitely be visiting this exact place again. Oh did I mention the little private island/beach 30 feet from the townhouse. We left the place as we received it, spotless. Can’t wait for our next trip to our new Honeycomb Hideout. You won’t be disappointed with this place. Trust me!

Loved the location. Enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the dolphins. Did struggle carrying belongings up the staircase without a handrail. Although it said pet friendly when we arrived the instructions said we couldn't leave the pet unattended We brought his cage so we could have a couple meals out. We had to find restaurants that accepted dogs
Worked out okay but be aware before you come that you can't leave without your pet Still had a great time

We enjoyed our stay and spending time exploring Cedar Key. The view was great. We watched the fishing boats, manatees and dolphins every day from the porches. Everything was within walking distance. The beds were very comfortable and the AC worked great on a hot weekend. I agree with the previous review that the living room needs more seating and the couch was uncomfortable. Calm and quiet
We looked for a place where we could see water right out our front door. We were not disappointed. This had the added bonus of a view from the bedroom and the living room. One thing to know if you have mobility issues, there are lots of stairs and the is only one bathroom on the kitchen floor.

Cedar Key Paradise
We had stayed in Cedar Key before, but this time was extra special. Our condo was right on the Gulf with 2 balconies on Gulf side. Everything was clean and supplied our needs except the seating area. With the 4 adults, we needed another comfortable chair or two and a more comfortable couch. But other than that, everything was perfect! We especially enjoyed the location - within walking distance to Dock St, restaurants, fishing, and other places. Would rent again!
