Our stay was perfect at this property. This was the most well stocked home and communication about everything was great. The pool and backyard is a wonderful retreat, especially after the college drop off process. We would stay here again!

The house was perfect! It was well-equipped, clean, large, and had everything we needed and more. And the pool was a wonderful addition, especially in the hot summer!

Jenn was absolutely amazing! So kind, warm, generous, and truly made me feel welcomed in their beautiful property. The pool and backyard are honestly a vacation resort in the middle of Tucson. The house was simply amazing. It was very well stocked, comfortable beds, great linens and towels and a pool and back yard to die for. We stayed here for a wedding in Tucson, so I had family coming in and out for four or five days. The location is awesome, the property is gorgeous! We made sure to spend at least one whole day by the pool which is beautiful! Thanks so much and we’d love to come back some time!

I do not know where to begin singing the praises of Jen and this property! We have rented many homes through VRBO and this is one of our all time favorites. The house is in a great neighborhood, and we walked downtown several times. The house itself is cozy and well stocked. The beds were comfortable. The backyard area with pool was spectacular! Jen made herself available for anything we wanted or questions we might have, but we were as happy as clams and wanted for nothing the four weeks we were here. If we ever find ourselves back in Tucson, we will definitely check into trying to get this place again!

Everything was as advertised. Owner super attentive and responsive. Kitchen, bathrooms and laundry well-equipped and provisioned. Pool was well-maintained and grandkids had a ball, even though the weather was a little cool.

I have to say this is one of the best properties I have ever stayed at. It is in an incredible location, it is charming, and the amenities are top-notch. The host really knows what they are doing.

This is an old house (1902) with a lot of character and charm. Curb appeal is great, only detractor is some bird droppings on the front sidewalk and gate (difficult to address). Nice landscaping out front and a relaxing front porch area. Inside, the living room and dining room are an open concept and provides for clean, comfortable relaxing and dining. The kitchen is FULLY furnished with all sorts of cooking and serving appliances and dishes. Full-size refrigerator, oven, stove, etc. Master Bedroom has king bed, with an older mattress and a master bath has clawfoot tub on a platform - takes forever to fill up (can't do much about water pressure in an old house), but once full, it is long enough for a 6-footer to get down into for a comfortable soak. Step stool is provided for easier access. Old toilet is small, round, and placed against the wall - difficult for larger size folks - but the second bathroom is a bit more roomy and modern. Speaking of the second bathroom, it has a roomy shower if the clawfoot is not your cup-of-tea. The toilet is one of the old, round, small types, but at least there is room to maneuver in the second bath. Second bedroom is a nice queen with plenty of room. The highlight? HEATED and COVERED outdoor pool at 90 deg!!! Wow! Backyard is totally worth the visit as it boasts a gas grill, wood-burning fire pit, plenty of tables and chairs, and an overall, nice/private setting. Landscaping is professional and neat. Fencing provides privacy and it almost feels like you are not near a downtown area - very well done. Only minor things detract from this property overall - but definitely 5 stars for a property this old. The communication with the host is 5+ stars!!! We'll probably be back soon :)

To be honest the pictures of the backyard and pool area is what made us choose this house. But upon arriving we fell in love with this house. Very clean and well appointed. Jenn was absolutely wonderful to work with and had so much information about the area. The house has everything you would ever want for your stay. And of course, the outdoor area is absolutely beautiful. It was chilly when we were there but made as much use of the pool as possible. If we ever have the chance to visit again we would definitely stay at Dulce 1902!

This was by far my best VRBO experience to date. The owner was so responsive and thought if everything. The home was clean, very comfortable beds, pool and outside area is beautiful and so many little added touches. Kitchen is so well stocked and has every appliance and kitchen tool. The location was wonderful- we walked to 4th street shopping, some great restaurants and an event at the annex & music hall. Can’t wait to visit again.

My new husband and I stayed here this week for our wedding week. We could gush on and on about this home, we felt like it was ours and it was a perfect homebase for us during a busy wedding week. We had friends over to Swim and two memorable family dinners here to start and cap our wedding week. I’m so happy that the home will live on in our wedding photos and can’t wait to go back for our anniversary trips to Tucson from LA! Jennifer is the best host we’ve ever had. Hands down.

From the moment we landed, till the minute we checked out, Jennifer and her house made us feel at home in Tucson. She was lovely and funny, trusting and helpful, filling us in all about her city, her historic home, and the fun modern amenities that the home is stocked with. The home is beautiful! The yards are impeccable and full of desert plants that were blooming when we visited. The pool was a joy!! We took dips throughout the day, and did a lot of hanging around the patio table, enjoying the dappled shade of old olive trees. The beds were comfy, the kitchen full of snacks and new kitchen appliances/supplies to use, and a cool liquor store selling natural wines was located around the corner, a 2 min walk away. A grocery store for buying breakfast supplies was a 10 min walk away towards downtown. She stocked the fridge with ample snacks and staples… a major bonus! The home was in a cool and quiet neighborhood, but situated close enough to downtown to walk. Our whole party kept remarking how it was the coolest rental property they’ve ever stayed in. Thanks Jenn, we’ll be back :)

Everything exceeded our expectations as far as cleanliness as well as the place being stocked so we didn’t have to run out and get a whole bunch of supplies the first night. The backyard was gorgeous, plenty of seating and an awesome pool. Thanks Jenn for everything!

Jennifer has created a true paradise for her guests. The house is beautifully decorated and has everything a guest might need. We did not cook, but had we wanted to, the kitchen had everything we would have needed. The beds are very comfortable and the neighborhood is quiet so you can be assured of a good night’s sleep. If you want to take a nice, relaxing bath before bed, there’s a beautiful claw-foot tub and Jennifer has provided bath salts and bath bombs. (I told you she thought of everything.) The backyard is beautiful. Jennifer has done an amazing job of landscaping and there are lights in trees, solar lights, and a beautifully lit pool. Sitting out there at night is like being in a magical fairyland. You don’t have to worry about mosquitos if you’re there in monsoon season because Jennifer has this great little bug zapper. (Again, I told you she’s thought of everything). Jennifer was there to welcome us when we arrived. She showed us around the house and made sure we knew where everything was and how things like the pool lights worked. She spent time to talk with us and shared suggestions about places to eat. She also had two bottles of wine for us sitting on the dining room table. Jennifer is amazing, the house is amazing. If you’re visiting Tucson, don’t think of staying anywhere else!

Jenn was the perfect hostess, responsive within the hour always and even came over to orient us to everything! The house itself is adorable, well-appointed, and in a perfect location within walking distance to some great places to eat and drink! The back yard is beautiful with a pool, fruit and olive trees, a swimming pool to cool off, and lovely tree lights! I can’t recommend this highly enough!

Excellent location, house is older but charming. Beds and furniture are comfortable. Bring lots of bug spray if you go during rainy season. Host was very accommodating.

Rented this home for 4th of July weekend. Perfect spot for the fireworks. The pool was perfection, along with all the other thoughtful little things such as the outlook air fan, fire pit and tables with umbrellas. The indoors was charmingly historic but modern. One of my favorites little spots, I will definitely stay at again. Jenn is a very helpful sweetheart !

This is a wonderfully and newly restored home, with extreme care taken to offer a stay that has everything. My husband quipped “that it felt like living in just a different version of our own home” because such care was taken to make sure everything was provided. Beyond being extremely well stocked, the backyard is delightful with new remodeling including a covered pool. It is a older home, but equipped with high bit-rate internet, modern TVs, and well thought out charging stations on night stands. The host Jenn was fabulous and one of the most attentive hosts we have ever encounter. Simply put, this is a five star home to stay in in downtown Tucson.
