Lovely and Quiet
A lovely condo on the West side equals quiet, rest, and rejuvenation. The listing was absolutely accurate and the property had everything from beach chairs to a fully equipped kitchen and laundry. Wifi was excellent, as was the clubhouse pool - with a library! I couldn’t have been happier!

You can see the ocean through the sliding glass door and from your patio and you get ocean breezes most of the time. Everything is super clean, the water pressure is great, there is a bathtub, and the internet is super fast and you can hard-wire into it if you prefer that greater speed to the WIFI. There is a new reverse-osmosis filter for your drinking water, high-efficiency washer and dryer, and neat little convenience store nearby for snacks. Well appointed Hawaiiana
Rose is a wonderful host. She made sure I had everything I needed and then some. The Hawaiian decor and art makes the place special, and the lanai with its beautiful view is one the condo's best features.

There is a small store close by and you can buy vegetables at a farm close to the airport as well as a meat processing plant that sells retail close to the farm. The owner is extremely helpfuland knows the Island well.

The condo is oriented so that the trade winds do a fine job of ventilating the whole thing.
The best thing about our whole stay was Rose herself. She communicated extensively with us prior to our arrival and gave us extensive information about the island, the condo and went way above and beyond to make our stay the best it could possibly be.

Rest assured, Unit 115 at Ke Nani Kai is definitely for real! And Rose is nothing short of fantastic!!
For those that haven’t stayed in Molokai before, it’s not Kaanapali or Waikiki. Molokai is blissfully quiet - a true Hawaiian Island escape from the day-to-day reality of life.
Don’t bother staying here - or anywhere on Molokai - if you’re looking for crowds, lot’s of restaurants, and endless shopping. It simply doesn’t exist.
However, if you really do want to escape from it all, this is the island, Ke Nani Kai is the place, and Rose is the owner you want to rent from while you’re here.
Everything you read here is true, and I highly recommend Rose’s place for one or two people simply looking to relax. The unit is exactly as it appears in the pictures, it has everything you need for your stay, the property has a great pool and spa, and the local beaches are convenient - and amazingly empty.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time here, and am looking forward to booking another escape to paradise soon. Thank you for everything, Rose!!

Exceeded our expectations on all fronts!
Rose's condo and customer service are exceptional. Our long-term stay was made extra special by Rose's attention to detail, hospitality and going above and beyond to make sure our stay was great in every way. We have visited Hawaii for over 35 years and Molokai for about 10. This is the best condo we have stayed in...can I say more?
The ocean view and sunsets are spectacular from the lanai. The condo is very comfortable and extremely well appointed and maintained. We had everything we needed for cooking (a cook's delight), restful sleep, relaxing and going to the beach. Rose provided supplies and all the information we needed to enjoy our stay on the island. Great condo with a nice lanai and ocean views
Rose's condo was very nicely appointed with literally everything we needed. It was very comfortable, spacious and clean and helped make our stay on Molokai most enjoyable. We were glad to have the opportunity to meet Rose while we were staying there; it is obvious that she cares about the quality of her guest's experience

My wife and I stayed here for 8 nights between January 21-29, 2019 and after just a few days I was referring to Rose's unit as 'home'. Rose is a responsive owner who clearly takes pride in her clean, cozy unit and it shows. It met all of our needs: 1) a comfortable queen bed, 2) a full kitchen with all the necessary tools, 3) washer/dryer, 4) a 50inch flat screen TV with a great cable package and Netflix, 5) Wifi and 30 minutes long distance, 6) beach chairs and umbrella, 7) easy parking, and 8) a totally wonderful and relaxing view from the lanai!
The complex itself is quite nice and laid back, with a good sized swimming pool (8 feet deep at one end) and an adjacent hot tub. There are also two tennis courts that we used almost daily.
The immediate area - as in walking distance from the unit - gives you access to miles worth of practically deserted beaches and impressive coast line views! There are wild turkeys and pheasants wondering around the area and one day from our lanai we saw a large herd of deer running through a no-longer-being-used golf hole. Not to mention the Hawaiian Monk Seal we watched basking on a beach just a 10 minute walk away.
Just be sure to stock up on groceries in town, which is a 20 minute drive away on traffice less roads.
We had a blast and we highly recommend Rose's unit - and west Molokai - to anyone who wants to get away from it all!

Felt like I was home.
One of the best experiences I've had on Moloka'i. Rose went above and beyond to make sure I felt like I was home. I arrived on a Sunday and Rose made sure I had the basics (eggs, butter, etc, etc) since the stores were closed. I travel to Moloka'i for work and it is nice to have a great place to come back to after a hard days work. I didn't really have any issues, but if i had any questions Rose was just a phone call away. I was very comfortable during my entire stay. The view from the lenai is one of the best. I'm looking forward to my next visit to Moloka'i.

This condo was perfect! ...comfortable, cosy and well appointed. We loved the Hawaiiana style!
Rose went overboard providing for our every need including luxurious robes, plush linens and towels. The kitchen was a chefs dream. It had everything we needed to cook and bake our favorite recipes. It even had a espresso machine! All of our beach and pool needs were provided for too, including coolers, umbrellas, chairs, noodles, etc.
Most of all, we enjoyed the view from the lounge chairs on the patio. We enjoyed our morning coffee, cocktail hours and all our meals from here...not to mention many hours reading, napping , relaxing and just taking in the view which was ever changing depending on the time of day. I think that is what I will miss the most...but not for long because we will come back to Molokai to stay at Rose’s place again! I should also mention that it was a pleasure working with Rose. She was always helpful and quick to respond. She recommended a local car rental, advised us on flights and local attractions as well. Mahalo Rose!

One of the nicer properties in the area.
Description of property is as described. Lots of cookware, glasses, plates etc. As well as beach towels, chairs, coolers even a beach bag. Almost everything you could want as well as nice decor.
Nice views of ocean and Island. Lots of exotic birds and flowers. Many different beaches in the area. There is a large gated pool and hot tub which was wonderful.
There is a main road going by the front of the property that can get busy at times. The ocean is about 10 minutes away.
Overall, we had a wonderful time and even extended our stay. We would stay here again.

Lovely stay
Rose has paid attention to detail; the condo was a lovely, comfortable place to stay. It was clean and well-maintained. I particularly enjoyed the early mornings and evenings on the patio and the comfort of the bed and linens for sleeping. We enjoyed a nice breeze throughout our stay. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The place was nicely decorated and had a peaceful ambiance. Rose did a great job of providing information on places to go and things to do. She also responded immediately when we needed her help with the wifi.
Regarding the restaurants on the island, I would recommend The Cookhouse Restaurant for friendly service and good food. I would also stay away from the Molokai Hotel Restaurant. Apparently things have gone down hill. We found the restaurant to be poorly managed and the food mediocre at best.
I would definitely stay here again and recommend to my friends and family. Thank you Rose.

Best condo on MOLOKAI
This was our 4th visit to Molokai and our 3rd time staying in Ke Nani Kai #115. We wouldn't consider staying elsewhere. This unit delivers in every way. It is better than advertised and the owner, Rose is extremely helpful and responsive. Each time we stay there are improvements to the condo and/or furnishings. You really don't need to bring anything beyond your clothes and personal needs in this condo. In addition to the furnishings, we believe the location is the best at Ke Nani Kai. The view from the lanai are unobstructed and beautiful….no buildings, no parking lots, no walkways. The condo is very private and you can watch the sunset from the lanai. The condo also has a nice pool and jacuzzi, along with a bar-b-que area. Best place to come and think about nothing else but relaxing. Love it here! Looking forward to booking for next year.

Quiet, Peaceful, and Restful
Very well kept and updated condo with peekaboo view to the ocean from lanai. Quiet area for those who are seeking rest and relaxation with no crowds. We never made it to the pool, but adventures out to find beaches was a lot of fun (4-wheel drive recommended if it recently rained). Beaches on the west end are not for swimming or snorkeling except on very calm days, but that should not deter you if you seek beach solitude (it's rare to come across other people on the west end beaches).
One week of total decompression away from crowds, traffic, and the night sky is INCREDIBLE! The sights and sounds of birds, wild turkeys, peacocks, and Axis deer ("Barking Deer") is a charming PLUS to vacationing on the west end of Molokai.
This was our second trip to Molokai and first stay in #115. We will definitely try to book this unit on our next trip.

Memorable Molokai and Ke Nani Kai #115
My wife and I stayed here for the month of November, 2014. We had a marvelous time. The condo is exactly as advertised. Fully and beautifully equipped, really comfy bed, and a smart TV with a gazillion channels. And Molokai; well, it’s the friendly isle, with a population of about 8,000 and no traffic lights. Where else can you take a most-memorable mule ride down sea cliffs to a National Historic Site? If you want the mob scene and a more hectic pace, there’s always Maui. If you want peace and relaxation, then this is the place. Rose provides the most thorough package of info imaginable: what to do, where to go, who to call--it was fabulous.

Great Molokai Get Away
My wife and I stayed in Rose’s condo during the month of April 2014. We had a great time. Rose is very friendly, efficient, thorough. and very easy and helpful to deal with. Her well equipped condo has everything needed for a very comfortable stay. The ocean view from her lanai is spectacular. Within easy walking distance are many great trails to beautiful sandy beaches. Molokai is truly the “friendly isle”. You can experience all the Hawaiian beauty and greatest weather on earth, without the traffic and commotion of the other islands. Rose provides helpful detailed information about the island and suggestions about things to do. If you have time, I suggest you do all of them. We did, and I know we will be back.

Feel the Aloha spirit!
This charming condo has just about everything one could want to enjoy a week of peace and quiet on this lovely island. Our hostess, Rose, has put a lot of thought into making this a pleasant place to relax and enjoy your surroundings. If you want night life, this is not the place for you. But for us - it was perfect! What we especially liked was the list of "things to do" supplied by Rose, and we were able to check off several items on the list and still had plenty of time to enjoy #28 - "Sit on the lanai and relax!" Something we don't do nearly often enough!
We knew ahead of time that we wanted to take the Mule Ride to Kalaupapa and had signed up for that in advance of our stay on Molokai. I must say that the mule ride was quite the experience for these old bones, but we are so glad we made the choice to go. Rose has the book "Molokai" by Alan Brennert in her library and I took the time to read it before we rode down to Kalaupapa, so that made the trip even more impressive. We were privileged to be able to learn more about the its history and the unfortunates who were forced to live there.
If you've never been to Molokai I would encourage you to come, see and enjoy the quiet beauty of the Friendly Island. We're so happy we made that choice! Aloha!
