Moms weekend to watch St Martin’s basketball led us to your lovely house! Easy freeway access and great location. Spacious, sparkling clean house with excellent layout. Loved that there were 3 big beds and 3 baths-part of the reason we chose it—luxury for busy working moms! Gas fireplace made it cozy and coffee delivery made our check out morning complete!

Great family home in a quiet cul de sac. Big bright open family room and kitchen with a great sectional, fireplace and tv. My girlfriends and I camped out and chatted all night long. Our only thought was that there could have been more wineglasses (we only had three?) and the cutlery seemed like it was for children- oddly light and small. Nothing that interfered with our enjoyment of the evening.

The house was perfect for our adult family. The open concept living space was great for hanging out. We couple had our own full bathroom. David was a great host.

We had an amazing time. Perfect location and we had my whole family for Thanksgiving dinner and that was 12 people. My house was to small to have them for dinner so this worked out perfectly and my daughter and her husband and my granddaughter from California had a wonderful time.

Renting the property was easy and straightforward. David was communicative and helped facilitate a partial refund when one of our travelers backed out of the trip. Property was clean, spacious, and accurate to the pictures. Would definitely stay here again!

The house is nicely updated and has plenty of great amenities. Nice backyard, comfortable couches, clean carpets and floors. The TV is huge with plenty of channels, and all the amenities you'd expect in the kitchen. Check in was a little difficult, but probably just an issue with the VRBO website. Bed linens could use a replacement though, they were a little old and dingy looking.

We had a large party and this house fit just right. Very clean!

Very nice property and all three couples had their own bathroom! Host was super friendly and easy! Would stay here again without hesitation!

Great stay in tumwater

This was perfect for our family. We had a weekend basketball tournament in Centralia and this house was within 20 minutes. The neighborhood was really nice and had a park with a basketball hoop. The neighborhood felt safe and the town of Tumwater was very nice. Everything was near by, Costco, Fred Meyer, Walmart. We ate dinner at a good Hawaiian restaurant called L&L Hawaiian BBQ. The house was clean, had a big kitchen, and my kids wanted to move in. Big couch in the living room, TV and fireplace. We would definitely stay here again.

We were in Oly for a work week and enjoyed our stay so much that we have booked for our work week in July (house wasn't available for June). Thank you David!!!

The site was as listed - very spacious, in good neighborhood, etc. - but we had a terrible experience after we entered property and ultimately did not stay there. When we entered at 4 pm there was an overwhelming smell of air freshener, due to air fresheners plugged into outlets in each room. The scent was very strong and noxious. We opened all the windows and left to pick up other members of our group and to get dinner, and arrived back at 8 pm hoping the smell would be gone. But the whole house still reared of it and it was intolerable, especially for one of our party who had a severe reaction to it. Immediately wrote to owner explaining we couldn’t stay and would have to leave and find other accommodations, and that we did not touch towels or bedding or anything else in the house.Two hours later he wrote back, apologized for our bad experience, acknowledged he should have unplugged the air fresheners, checked the property earlier and directed the cleaners not to use strong “chemicals” in the future. We requested to be reimbursed since we couldn’t actually stay, but despite multiple communications with owner, and Vrbo, that request has gone unanswered. The owner has not responded, which is very disappointing. And Vrbo, who in the past had been extremely generous and responsive has indicated they can’t do anything since the booking was officially “completed” (not formally cancelled before hand). While technically true, we would have expected, given the circumstances, for them to come behind us… All of this has been very disappointing. It seems strange that an owner would not understand, given how many people are extremely sensitive to fragrances and scents, that strongly scented air fresheners were a bad idea. And had he inspected before hand he would also have noticed empty wine bottles, leftover food, etc that the cleaners had also not dealt with properly. This would otherwise be an excellent rental option for large groups, in an area with few other good rental options☹️
