The unit was comfortable and not far from a metro station. Suited our needs for the stay. Only a short walk to local pubs and convenience store.
There was a strange odour when we first arrived but maybe that was because the unit was locked up. There were no washing machine tabs as per description from owner.

Well organised and efficient
There were a lot of stairs to climb but we expected that. The locality was poor, I am from the town and know it well however Laygate has deteriorated badly in saying that the town centre and sea from are only minutes away and easily reached from the property together with that Chichester Metro station it just up the road

Centrally located for what we needed. The flat was very clean with good amenities and the bed very comfortable and also accommodated our dog for a reasonable price.
Unfortunately, there was a horrible drain smell from all the sinks, rectified with having the windows open, but quite unpleasant and although appointed in a central location the area appears to be less than desirable.

The Location was very good
The stairs LOL ! Also I think that there should have been some instructions on the TV use...not sure whether there is access to Netflix, BBC I player etc. or not.

This was a nice, comfortable flat in South Shields and better than other short term accommodation we have found in the area. Plenty of hot water and well equipped kitchen etc.
We were surprised at having to sign a tenancy agreement after booking with Booking.com. We also did not expect to have to pay a substantial deposit before we arrived (although it was refunded quickly after we left). The second bedroom is not a double - the bed is simply not big enough for two adults which was a problem. The whole apartment smelt of drains.

The apartment was great, very clean and comfortable.
The only little niggle was the smell of smoke at the front entrance of the apartments. Presumably this is where people go for a cigarette, it was quite yucky.

Apartment was as described very well furnished to a high quality. Would highly recommend and would use again.
There was nothing not to like all good.
