This was a lovely place to rest and decompress, yet close to bus lines that took me right into downtown. I can’t think of anything that was missing. Do stay here; you’ll like it.

We stayed for 5 days in this whimsically themed Captain's Cottage that was thoughtfully furnished with everything we needed, including air conditioning. Despite its compact size, the house felt remarkably spacious for just my husband and I, with wonderful light and every comfort we needed. Renee was a wonderful host, responding quickly to every message. The location, in a quiet residential neighborhood, was convenient to restaurants, grocery stores, and transportation. We recommend to others and would happily stay here again.

My husband, toddler and I stayed in this cute cottage for 3 nights while visiting the Seattle area. Very cute and quaint cottage! It was just the perfect size for the three of us and the house itself had so much character. Truly a historic home in an adorable neighborhood. We had quick access to everything we wanted to see and enjoyed every moment of our stay. There were even raspberry bushes in back of the home growing fresh raspberries on them! We would recommend any couples or small families stay here. We had a nice time!

My stay in this nautically themed cottage couldn’t have been nicer! It is a sweet older home that has been charmingly decorated and outfitted with all the modern conveniences. I highly recommend this cute VRBO.

Old established Seattle neighborhood with easy access to buses to everywhere and walking distance to all the great stuff in Ballard. Not a roomy cottage, but it certainly more than works and in summer with the yard, would be fantastic. The hosts were great and I would definately stay here again

Captain’s cottage was perfect for my week in Seattle. Such a quiet neighborhood but an easy walk to everything I needed like local restaurants and grocery stores and to downtown Ballard, Nordic museum and the Locks. I would love to stay here again, maybe in warmer weather so I could sit outside. I also loved all the Captain’s art in the house. Thank you for sharing this cottage!

This Ballard bungalow was the perfect landing spot during a busy long weekend in Seattle. Clean, quiet, cute & comfortable! We loved our stay!

Overall the cottage was a good fit for my daughter and I. The kitchen was well equipped. Lots of attention to detail inside. The location was perfect for our stay with many of the sights we wanted to take very close by.

We stayed at Captain's Cottage for a quick trip to Seattle! We needed easy access the the city but were traveling with our two kids....the cottage house was perfect! Close to the city but also tucked in a sweet and quiet neighborhood, the fenced in yard was a great place for our kids to play in and they loved all the Captain's touches! They kept asking when the sailors were coming home! Clean and well stocked for a comfortable stay! Thank you Renee...

The property itself is small but quaint and had everything we needed. Renee was excellent at communicating. The washing machine and dryer was a pleasant surprise. Everything you could possibly need was provided. The property was close to all the places we wanted to go to. I would recommend staying in this property for couples. We would definitely come back.

The Captain's Cottage was perfect for us. Just a few blocks from our daughter in a quiet neighborhood. My husband loved sitting out front with his coffee in the morning. The cottage was clean and well equipped. Renee provided everything needed. The washer and dryer were especially welcome. I would definitely stay at the cottage again.
