The property manager was very responsive and communication was good. The house was in the '80s when we arrived, but with the AC wall unit turned on and the fans turned on it cooled down to something more comfortable. Usually by the time we went to bed at night the bedrooms were down around 75, which wasn't too bad all things considered. While communication was great, and the house was overall clean, and there were nice extras included such as shampoos, conditioners, soaps, etc, overall, the property was too small for our family of four. The one table in the house was a high table with four chairs. Since we had to work while we were there, this wasn't very comfortable for us. However, if you are just looking for a place to stay that's close to the beach and won't be spending much time in the house, this could work for you. The kitchen was also very small and the backyard patio area wasn't all that we were hoping it would be. That said, all the basics were met, and again the property manager was very nice and responsive. It's just that the property was old and a bit overpriced in our opinion for what we got. We'd likely stay somewhere else in the future.

The casita was clean and the back patio was a wonderful refuge. We’d definitely stay here again!

Location was close to the beach awesome. Right on La Jolla Blvd with non stop traffic, less good. Owner was very responsive. Unit was nice, but needed some TLC. Outdoor patio was nice.

This is a wonderful rental right by a beautiful beach in famous downtown La Jolla. Perfectly appointed home for your vacation. We loved the outdoor seating area under the jasmine flower and lights in the back yard. Comfortable beds and linens, plenty of storage. Everything you need for a fantastic vacation. Thank you!

Best thing was the location!! The kitchen is lacking some essentials but we were able to be creative. Beds were comfortable and clean (even the pullout) The AC is a unit in the living room so the rooms do get hot but there are large ground and ceiling fans! John had quick responses

We had such a great time during our stay! The location of the rental was perfect. Condo was comfy for our family of 5.

Great location to several beaches, grocery store and restaurants. Good space for all 6 of us except the kitchen table. The purpose for us staying in a VRBO is the benefit of a kitchen. This kitchen was lacking so many kitchen pans and utensils it was difficult to actually cook. There were no pans for the oven, grilling tools, any sort of bowls or platters, and not even plates, bowls, and silverware for 6. There was also limited airflow in the house. The bedrooms reached 95 during the day according to the thermometers in the rooms and had ceiling fans that didn’t seem to move air.

The unit was very clean and centrally located in La Jolla. All beds including the sleeper sofa were quite comfortable. There was even an AC unit in the kitchen. Parking was on the street, but was sufficiently available. Would recommend and would rent again!
