Cabin was super cute and romantic, my spouse and I had a wonderful time relaxing in the tub, cooking for each other, and watching romcoms.

Very clean with lots of personal touches to make the stay unforgettable.

We enjoyed a fantastic time while at this cabin. From the scenic surroundings to the evenings spent in the hot tub or around the fire,many things to enjoy and add to your relaxed stay.

My husband and I wanted a quiet place to escape the busy day to day life BUT wanted to bring our pup since we are gone to much of the year. This cabin was perfect! The peaceful scenery, cozy and inviting cabin and decor plus all the things we needed to have full cooked meals and drinks before having a fire or slipping into the hot tub. The bed was cozy. The wooden log stairs are tight for tall people and scared pups to go up, but we managed fine. We explored sibble national park which was beautiful this time of year. Lake simcoe was still warm. We even gor to meet all 4 horse's from the host. Therapeutic to say the least. We will definitely be back. We got some great videos and photos that we will cherish for years to come. 7th wedding anniversary done right. Thankyou again Marie. It was such a fun space for us to enjoy. OH, and definitely try Messhall restaurant. The prosciutto and Pear pizza was amazing.

Exactly as advertised, a lovely little spot with lots of privacy. Short drive into town to get supplies or visit a beach.

My boyfriend, dog and I stayed at the cabin this past week and had the most relaxing and peaceful stay. It was everything we expected and more. We loved watching the stars while enjoying the hot tub and just enjoying the nature view. Groceries, gas and everything else just minutes away along with beautiful drive along Lake Simcoe. We would definitely come back.

Overall, communication with Marie was excellent. The property was cute and definitely a log cabin in the woods. Things that were not acceptable - hornets nest above the entrance door, lumpy/uncomfortable bed and there were hornets trying to get out of the skylights above the bed. Terrifying. Lack of hot water. Frying pan we used was pitted and needs to be replaced. Broken windows. Extremely humid. Thank God I took my dehumidifier with me. Hot tub was "murky" so we didn't use it. Furniture was old and damp. I would not recommend this place.

The cabin is great. Quirky, unique and alotgether delightful. Location is, perhaps, not as "remote" as the pictures might mead you to think, but it's quiet and pretty private. Cabin is very well equipped, especially with regard to cooking, and still very "cozy" We stayed 2 nights, and I practically had to drag my wife out to the car to leave! Hot tuib excellent, and the inside games and "horseshoes" outsidde were a nice touch...

Amazing cute cabin

The Cabin was so quiet and relaxing, just what we were looking for. It was clean and had everything we needed for our weekend getaway. Marie was a very attentive host. Quick response when we had questions. The little touches made it so special. Wine on arrival, a few groceries in the fridge. We loved the skylights above the bed and of course the hot tub.

Beautiful private cabin back in the woods, very secluded, the hot tub was a perfect touch and the fire pit was also great for s’mores, it was exactly what we were looking for on our mini moon

We had our mini-moon here and the cabin was such a romantic place to have it! Great amenities on property and nearby. It was an awesome place to relax after months of wedding planning. We will be back!

The Cabin: Upon first arrival, you find yourself feeling an overwhelming sensation of joy and anticipation knowing that this will be your stay for the foreseeable future. The Cabin, juxtaposed against the encapsulating greenery, is like a beautiful painting with so much character and charm. When you step inside, the love and enthusiasm that went into crafting each and every detail, from the wood, the windows, the furniture and more, fills your heart and soul and tells you that this is where you're meant to be. The property is surrounded by a landscape lush with trees dancing to sound of the wind, literally the loudest "noise" you will hear, as your senses are all pulling at your cheekbones, resulting in a smile that brings peace to your mind. And although it may be an overused term, you know you have found yourself in Paradise. The Host: We cannot express enough how much you should take the opportunity, if the invitation is put forth (her schedule is intense and exciting), to visit Marie and her horses. My husband and I spent time hearing her story, and feeling her passion for life, and the Cabin she built, so that she can bring happiness and fulfillment to those who visit her property and experience its wonder. She is a truly inspiring woman who is extracting every ounce of adventure and reward this life has to offer. It shows in her demeanor, and you feel it in The Cabin. We cannot wait to visit them both again.

Great place for a romantic getaway. Very private with nice hot tub. Well stocked kitchen. Had an issue with the BBQ, but very prompt response resolved it.

The cabin itself blew our expectations out of the water! Was an awesome experience and time and we definitely hope to be back. Only thing I would suggest is blinds on the skylight! Laying in bed watching the stars was awesome but the sun certainly wakes you up early ! 5 stars for sure !

We had an amazing time here! Everything was lovely and we would definitely come back! Such a cute environment, and the cabin is so quaint and cute! The hot tub is lovely to have! Although there was some deterioration of some substance on the jets, so there were gross little floaties all around, but at least we knew what it was and still felt comfortable enjoying it! Make sure to bring some spices and such if you plan on cooking, as the fully stocked kitchen doesn't include more than salt, pepper, and garlic powder. The only other slight complaint we had was the bed being uncomfortable, it is definitely time for a mattress update! And we did have a little squirrel friend come and visit us! Unfortunately it was a bit scary as he kept coming around and somehow removed insulation from the outside and got in the ceiling! So it was frightening to hear him running around and scratching at the ceiling above us while we were in bed, sounding like he was trying to get through! But it only happened a few times, and after we made lots of noise, he would leave for a while haha maybe some patchwork is needed to keep him out:) Overall though we had a lovely time and will definitely be back:) Thank you :)

This was our first getaway as a married couple and it went above and beyond what we hoped for! It was so perfect and private..the hottub was AMAZING! The skylights were so romantic and the entire cabin had such a cute cozy vibe we absolutely loved it! Meeting the horses was great too..added some spice to our trip! 10/10 recommend!!!

This cabin is beautiful, the owner is as nice as women as you can imagine. My fiance and I enjoyed are stay and are definitely planning on making this a yearly trip.

The property was amazing. It was very peaceful and relaxing. The best part was being able to bring our larger dogs with us! Most places dont allow dogs over 20 or 50lbs but the owners were super welcoming and understanding to dogs of any size. I'm a bit of a light sleeper, so I was up a few times the one night when the rooster was crowing at 3 am, but he was quieter the second night

The cabin is secluded enough to provide 100% privacy but is also close to all amenities, including a large variety of excellent restauants, Big Bear Bar and Grill (Jamaican) and Papa Luigis being 2 of our favs. Hot tub was extensively used, the skylights in the bedroom are awesome and the whole experience was altogether lovely. Marie, our host, was extremely responsive and meeting her horses was a high spot. Highly recommended.

The cabin was quiet set back from the road and felt like our own private retreat it was just perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better more accommodating stay thanks to Marie and her hospitality. Seeing her dog Dodge and the horses really made our stay extra special and we are definitely looking forward to coming back again in the future.

Super cozy winter cabin vacation. We thoroughly enjoyed watching watching the snow fall through the skylights, snowshoeing the nearby trails, and hot tubbing to warm back up.
