I absolutely loved our stay here. It is an incredibly beautiful and peaceful area. The host was always available and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice place with room for a trailer/boat to park in yard. Front door has an electronic lock, which worked with the code we were given, but the door knob was locked. Owner had the maintenance person come and open the door quickly and replaced the knob. She is very responsive to any questions. Bed in master has a nice supportive mattress, which was fine for my bad back. We have become accustomed to previous renters leaving extra condiments and some spices in other rentals, but none of that was here, I imagine as a result of concern for spreading germs, so we had to get all those right away to cook meals in home, which we do 90% of the time. There are 2 grocery stores at the corner of Halls Road and Hwy 19, so very convenient to get goods. Other than that, we enjoyed the location. It is quite quiet after 10 pm. If you like REAL Key Lime Pie go to the Seagrass Restaurant a block down the Halls Road. Best pie we've had outside of the actual Keys.

Everything about this property was perfect.

We checked in and unpacked into the house and found it spacious enough for two adults and two young kids. The owner was very responsive and gave us info on a close boat ramp (5 mins away $20 4 day launch fee) the idle from river haven marina was about 30 mins to the house and passes under a bridge (Bimini top friendly)20’ bay boat. There were a few shallow areas but we passed at all tides ( trim up a bit) This home owner thought about being outdoors a lot and protecting from mosquitos a few nice screened in areas. There was a hose close for rinsing and a nice dock to tie up to. The gift bag was a nice treat and the home was very well stocked with cooking essentials and some basic spices. Their owner was a pleasure to communicate with and was super responsive.

I can’t say enough about how wonderful this location and property are! We had so much fun with the kayaks, hanging out in the screened porch(es) and fishing from
the dock. The location is perfect too, and so close to pretty much whatever you want to do in the area: equal

Great stay at Homosassa River/Springs. Saw all sorts of wildlife...access to the Gulf and the Springs! House was in perfect condition and we loved using the kayaks.

We traveled from Louisville, KY to the Homossasa/Crystal River, FL area for Spring Break and to visit with a good friend who lives in the area. We had a wonderful time swimming with the manatees and visiting the Homossasa Springs State Park and eating at a few of our favorite restaurants in the area too (Crackers, Waterfront Social, and Crumps). We also enjoyed kayaking with the kayaks provided for an hour one day. The house is conveniently located close to everything we wanted to do and also very close to Publix for groceries. We had a great time during our stay.

Nice and pet friendly remodel. Needs a landscaper to keep leaves under control. The water way fine for kayacks but very shallow and narrow for boats. Enjoyed the quiet street.

This property was excellent! We will be recommending it to our family/friends and will stay here again when we return to the area.
Our check in process was easy and efficient. Annalea was quick to respond and great to work with. The home was just as described AND BETTER. :) The home had 2 bedrooms with their own bathrooms, which worked great for our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children). Everyone had their own sleeping sleeping space, and the beds were very comfortable to sleep in. We all slept well, feeling safe, warm and comfy in this cute home (our kids called it the “tree house”).
We used the kayaks every day and even paddled our way to the marina, stores and restaurants one day. Before we realized it, we’d been out exploring for almost 5 hours.
It was the perfect use of a day.
We also enjoyed fishing from the dock where we caught small fish on nearly every cast. Our small children say this was a highlight of our trip. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for several meals we made at the home.
My family wanted me to make sure I add that the towels were extremely soft (and there were plenty for our family for the week).
We ventured into town and took a Manatee tour where we swam with over 20 manatees the morning we went. It was a bucket list experience that we are so happy to have gotten the chance to partake in before returning to the comfort of this home.
Thanks Annalea, we loved our Homosassa Christmas adventure so much. We will be back.
