Property was lovely and just as described. Our two small families loved the privacy of the location while still being so close to a hiking trail, resort amenities, and not far from Chimney Rock. We’d love to stay here again!

We enjoyed it for 4 adults and a dog. Loading and unloading is easy due to the deck bridge ramp. The overall space is good with large kitchen and master bedroom/bath. There is a second bath with the middle bedroom. But there is no common bathroom upstairs or downstairs. This may be inconvenient for some if planning to sleep the max of 12 persons; but not for us. The full-size downstairs with pool table and pac-man gaming machine is nice. Streaming TV service up and down is very good. Mr. Lake Lure office is very pleasant and quick to help. We saw that the grounds nearest the structure required weed eating and Mr. Lake Lure sent out grounds keepers within 2 hours of our arrival. Rumbling Bald access is a nice bonus and the reason we chose this vrbo location.

This house had more than enough room and activities to keep a family of 8 happy for a week long stay. Whether it was billiards, a fire pit, a Pac-Man machine, or good internet. This house was clean and well suited for a stay.

House was great. It is the only house on that street so we didn't disturb anyone. Had a great time on our golf trip.

The house was very nice. The only thing I did not like that I did not realize (probably my own mistake) is that there is not an accessible bathroom in the house that is outside of the rooms. Both bathrooms are in suite which made it hard for others not sleeping in that room to use. Also we lost power for an entire day and it was hard to get in contact with someone. My husband thinks their may have been a generator but no one told us. Other than that our stay was great.

We rented this house for a family vacation. It was very nice, everything was as pictured, the check in process was easy, everything at Rumbling Bald was great. Only thing I would suggest was an up to date flier for Rumbling Bald with times and things, then one there was from spring.

The house was really nice and we all enjoyed the access to the Rumbling Bald Resort. So many activities for the kids to do.

We arrived July 5th for 4 nights. The house was exactly as described. The only item listed that was missing was a Keurig coffee pot, but it was quickly delivered when I texted customer service team member. Renters should be aware there are no extra supplies that you may find in other rentals. Bring your own fry pan if you want a good one :) We did not use the fire pit, but loved the pool table and Pac-Man game! There was a problem with the washer on the second day and it could not be resolved. The management company did offer wash, dry, fold service if we brought clothes to them, but our schedule didn’t allow time for that. Thanks for a lovely house.

Enjoyed a lovely stay at this property .. Host/Mr Lake Lure was outstanding at responding to all my questions (I had many!) they called to check in and ensure everything was as we expected… highly recommend .. sparkling clean and well stocked

What a beautiful home, perfectly located on its own, a hidden treasure, would definitely stay again.

The home is well-equipped and in great condition.
The pool table was an excellent bonus. There is even a PacMan game from back in the day.
The location is outstanding being right across from a trailhead. Chimney Rock is close by. The community pool and hot tub was perfect. The tennis and miniature golf make for an enjoyable afternoon after hiking.
The only negatives were the two baths are only en-suite and one there was no back entrance to the fire pit. Neither is really of any consequence.
I am hoping to rent again for a golfing trip and so I can maybe master billiards.
All in all, this is a reasonably priced vacation getaway gem.

This was a great place to stay. Nice and spacious, quiet and relaxing. One thing that is helpful to know is that both bathrooms are only accessible by going through the two larger bedrooms.

We had a great stay at the lake. The house was perfect for our needs and the location was very quiet and private. Mr lake lure personnel were great. They called several times to assure our needs were met. I’m looking forward to working with them again next year.

Wheelchair accessible
The house was clean and spacious. Also wheelchair accessible. Do note there is not a shower in the master, but it has a bathtub. We enjoyed our stay and the amenities.

The porches were very private and quite. great for a morning cup of coffee or and afternoon cocktail. The pool table was lots of fun! As well as the Walk way was Fantastic, it made it so easy to unload and load the car!
The master bedroom had no shower so it was a little inconvenience to have to drag clothes and toiletries back and forth. Along with not having a bathroom down starts made it a little inconvenience when playing pool.
Also, not having more then one TV was hard on my husband, he had to watch what I wanted.
