Everything was great, wishing that communication with owner was faster and direct texting would help due to an issue with a water leak to their kitchen sink. It would be nice that the owner would notified us about this leak instead of me finding out on our own. I did notify the owner ASAP about the issue and they stated to me to use a drip pan which was very small and inaccurate to catch all the water that was dripping everywhere. Which I had to wash the dishes outside of the house with the water house. Other then this everything else was ok.

Stayed at this property due to convenient location. The hosts provided great ammenities for games, entertainment, laundry, and in the small kitchen so guests can prepare yummy meals.
During our stay, windows had to be open to allow breeze in, but it also let in sounds of the small farm close by: chickens, dogs, etc all through the night. This may not be the case for all guests but thought this may be helpful to some. Also be mindful that the hosts like to conserve energy and will strongly encourage limited electricity usage! Communication is automated, and inquiries via VRBO app received delayed responses. Check in instructions and other details came pretty late - would prefer all the details contained in the VRBO listing instead. Overall it was an ok stay.

We enjoyed this property so much. Located on a quiet road in the Hawaiian Paradise Park this was perfect for our vacation. We used the property as home base for our travels around the island. If you have a rental car this property is just outside of Hilo and only about a mile from Volcano National Park.
What made this property especially great is all the details the owner put into the property. There are pool, fooseball, and air hockey tables shared with the front apartment. The unit also has all the pots and pans, plates, and other cooking items you could possibly need. We saved money by cooking breakfast in each day.
I will definitely be staying at their property if I am ever on the Big Island again. Thank you so much Alex!
