It is a lovely property. But we were very disappointed with the cleanliness. There were no tea towels, dish cloths or sponge provided. Dish washer was full of dishes when we arrived. A couple of dust covered cobwebs in some of the rooms. Dead bugs amongst the crokery. Deck covered in bird poo. It is a shame that the property was let down by the cleaner.

We had a fantastic time at Aroona Flats, it really is the perfect place for a family getaway! The house is amazing and has everything you need while you take in the incredible views in every direction - there is a great feeling of remoteness while only being 15 mins from Mansfield should you need anything. The river is beautiful, while we had no luck fishing it definitely looks 'fishy', so they are in there. Access from the bank is limited but perfect for waders and a fly rod!

The property was amazing with great location, views and peace and quiet. We had a great time and look forward to be back. The house was so clean and cosy and would highly recommend it to others. We had the best time staying at Aroona Flats. Loralee was lovely and made the whole process very straight forward and the property itself is magic. Modern, spacious and clean with all the comforts you could hope for and the river at the back of the property was the perfect spot to cool off on a hot day. We all had a ball and will definitely be back. Thanks Loralee.

What an awesome gem in the heart of the Victorian highlands. Spectacular views on a farm setting second to none. The kids had an absolute ball being around the farm animals, swimming in the river and most of all enjoying the freedom of country living with minimum boundaries.

Such a beautiful property, there is no way we could be happier with our stay. Everything was so clean, exactly as advertised and the secluded location was just what we needed. Will be staying again, no hesitation!! Big thanks to Loralee for beautiful communication and kindness for the stay. 10/10 💛

Our Mt Buller getaway staying at Aroona Flats

Absolutely Love It ! Highly Recommend
The property is huge, so clean and cosy. Everything was provided. Love the large kitchen space and all the cutlery utensil provide. Very suitable for families with children. Nice place to come just to chill out. Thank you so much for the welcoming wine and chocolate.
The only downside was the stove was too weak and it takes quite a while to cook the food or get anything to boil. And the hot water run out quickly that we couldn't really all have a shower. After about 4 ppl, there will be no hot water left. Consider it such a large property and can have so many ppl to stay, it should be something that should taken into consideration.
However, the host has excellent communication from Before, During and After the stay to ensure we have everything we need and that we are happy with our stay.
Highly recommended and more likely to come back again when we have time.

This is a well set up country stay about 3 minutes drive from Gough’s Bay and lake Eildon. The property is in excellent condition and is well maintained. We had 7 of us and it was very comfortable.

We've stayed at Aroona Flats previously, and it remains a lovely experience. The house is modern and well equipped, very clean and set amongst rolling hills and a beautiful river. The kids loved the resident cows and kangaroos, and spent hours searching for wombats. A great location for day trips to Mount Buller. Nearby Mansfield Zoo and The Maze are both brilliant for kids too! Thanks again for a great stay. We'll be back.

Goughs bay getaway
Loved our time at the A Frame. Goughs Bay is magical & the house has everything you could want. Any questions were promptly responded to & acted on. Even the neigbours were friendly. The views from the house are to die for & you are warm & cosy in winter. There are many activities in close proximity & the general store only 2 mins walk. Will come again ! Thank you Ski Lodge for the happy memories:-)

The property was stunning, very clean, great host. The one thing I would say is it doesn’t sleep 10. Two beds are fold out armchairs probably only ok for children. Other than that highly recommended!

Family hide away holiday with a Fab View
We stayed here for 2 wks over Jan 2019, the house is very cute and clean. The aircon works fabulously great views from the main bedroom and deck over looking Goughs Bay
Only complaints the BBQ was dirty and really could do with a new BBQ and we had no gas when we arrived, but the owner was quick to fix this. The laundry door was broken no biggy just annoying. Pet friendly, peaceful and it was just lovely cooking in the kitchen watching the sunrises and sunsets. It would be nice to have basic stuff in the pantry like oils vinegar sauces when you stay for so long, for obvious reasons.
Great location to base yourself to explore lake Eildon Masnfield Mt Buller Jamieson and surrounds.

Cute and quirky!
We enjoyed our stay but the house is quite little for any more than 6 or so people. The kitchen only had one knife which made cooking for a group a little tricky. The house was furnished in a cool quirky way and it was very clean & tidy. Having sheets & towels included was also a bonus!
Sadly the walk to the water was further than anticipated due to how low the water is but that couldn't be helped!
We would like to revisit this house in the winter as the mountain views are beautiful.
