Very eco-friendly and unique. Staff was super helpful. We were in glamping pods which were very comfortable. Enjoyed the compost toilets for 2 days 🤣, the communal kitchen and outside shower. The other campers were very friendly and nice. Welcoming atmosphere!

As advertised. All good. Thanks Brandon.

I slept soundly, and was pleased with the camping amenities.
We were searching for dark skies for telescope and photography. I partially delivered/Las Vegas lights were obvious. The campground can’t control that however.
We stayed in the small sleeper - consider adding a small curtain to the door window.

Amazing place! The accommodation was brilliant and super comfy. It had everything you could need. Brandon was lovely and was happy to take some time to chat with us. If we're ever in the area again we would definitely stay here!

The position is just magical. The landlord is so kind, he welcomed us late in the night and explained us everything. Surely the best place to choose for Death Valley.

Great place, everything was the best. I've never been to a more charming place.

The hosts thought of everything! In the harsh environment of the Death Valley you can have a warm shower, cool your food/drinks in the fridge and even have an individual AC in your own individual trailer!
Fabulous concept! Total respect for all the clever solutions and making the campsite a desirable highly functional location!
Oh! And there is a vineyard!!! Unreal…
Also, I met some amazing people there! So - big thanks!
Nope, nothing to complain about.
Loved the place. Makes you appreciate moderate climate and plentiful water resources!

Great for Stargazing. An absolute one of a kind experience. Alfonso is a great, super friendly host! Nice guy to chat to, who will go out of his way to show you around and answer questions.
Lack of shade outdoors: it was very hot during our stay and there was only the main hall (winery) to hide from the direct sun.

What we like the most is home vibe and super nice service! We had no idea what to expect and it blew our minds! All well arranged and super clean. Maxium of comfort provided. Cherry on the top is amazing evening with a bottle of nice wine in front of the trailer. Definitely worth to have one there! Experience 10/10!

We loved the unique stay at Tarantula Ranch. The caravan was surprisingly roomy and so cosy and comfortable. Everything was clean and well thought out, and the location was great for exploring Death Valley.
My only improvement would be an indoor toilet block for a little more privacy, but totally appreciate it is a camping experience in nature!

Tarantula is an absolute gem! we are not campers so stayed in the bottling room, the most expensive of the accommodations but we feel we got so much value: private outdoor area with barbecue, attached outdoor shower, full beautfully appointed kitchenette. furnishings were so thoughtful and tastefully done. Loved the quirky touches like the wine Bible and the real working phonograph. no interactions with the hosts so hard to comment on that, but the pre-check-in messages we received were extremely helpful and we really didn’t need anything else. it’s quite a remote location so be sure to bring in all of your food, snacks, and wine if you like :) only constructive criticism is it would have be nice to have maybe a teak bench in the shower area, an outdoor chaise lounge, and a little bit of a larger outdoor table to eat. however there are plenty of more public picnic tables on site. but these are really nitpicky - would not hesitate to book here again and one night was definitely not enough! it’s about a 40 minute drive to death Valley. if you are in the area also don’t miss Ash Meadows preserve.

Super clean, even the out house. It was very cold this year and very windy but the little heater kept us very cosy. It was a cold few night for the out house but we knew it didn’t have indoor toilets.
I’m sure it’s even better during warmer weather.
We recommend it!

The location is good and the owner is very friendly and helpful.
The facility does not have a wash basin/sink for washing face which is a very essential part when you stay at this facility.

We felt it was not prepared for cold weather at all. The heater was not enough inside the truck and the bathroom and showers were outside in an open space at negative degrees celcius. We had a terrible cold night where we caught a cold, so we ended up leaving one day in advance and having to end our holidays earlier. The host wasn’t keen to help us with a refund of the night we didn’t stay, either.

The location was great with opportunities for stargazing and incredible sunsets and sunrises. The trailer was as advertised and comfortable.
There was no light provided in the trailer, the owner did say this should have been placed there and was perhaps forgotten. I could not get the kettle to work in the morning to have a coffee.

cosy and a beautiful location. we wished we had a longer stay!
