When we opened the door to the condo we were immediately hit with the smell of mold/mildew. Thinking it was because maybe this unit sat empty awhile, I gave it a day…but it lingered. I got some air-freshener, and it didn’t help. The place must have an issue with moisture getting in because our clothing, the furniture, everything felt wet the entire time. The condo could use a very deep cleaning, and ironically, the housekeeper left an envelope with a note passive aggressively asking us to leave her a tip. We didn’t feel this was appropriate given the shape it was in. I thought all of these fees were included in what we paid. We didn’t ask for cleaning throughout our stay. Also, there was a problem with the gate key not working at the pool entering the building where guests and residents were being locked out. One resident was furious and told us she was locked out for over 30 minutes. She was told by management they couldn’t fix it for a month. One other thing that should be addressed is that the guard folks at the entrance of the building should be more alert when you drive up rather than make you sit and wait - until they decide to come out look into your car windshield for your bright colorful tag showing you’ve paid to be there! On a good note, it’s a great view from the living room. But seriously I suggest that the owner have the place checked for the cause of the moldy/mildew and why there’s so much moisture in the air! Yep, we should have complained…but after a couple of days thinking this smell would go away…I just didn’t want the hassle of having to move with only a couple of days left of vacation. Hopefully these things are corrected before they rent this unit out again. If they are, it could be a nice get away.

Property not as advertised. Outdated, mold and mildew smell, open sewer smell, towel rack and toilet paper holder both fell off of wall. No check in area. No staff available. Etc. etc .

Great spot, lovely view, shops and restaurants near by! Sand toys, chairs, umbrellas and lots of extras for our family to share and enjoy!

Overall we had a very good stay at this property. The unit was clean and neat, and the view of the Gulf was amazing! Our condo had all the amenities we could possibly need, even a nice igloo cooler to take down to the beach. Upon arrival the first night, the entry code we were given to the lock box did not work, and we could not get the keys to get into the condo. However the Vacasa support center was helpful and gave us an alternative code which did work. We also had trouble with the bikes. We were given a five digit code to unlock shared bikes located in the parking lot under the building, but the bikes that were locked all had four digit codes. Those that were not locked up had flat tires. We again reached out to Vacasa to get a message to the property manager for assistance, but the property manager never got back with us. Vacasa did reach back out to us, but simply emailed us the instructions that we originally received with our check-in email (location of bikes and five digit code for locks) but didn’t answer our questions or help us in any way. This was definitely a negative for a family who enjoys biking on vacation. One more thing… It took us three days to find the beach storage closet by the hot tub, and by that time we had already purchased our own beach chairs and tent, but once we found it we were impressed with the amount of beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, etc. it would be nice to have on site assistance available for these small but impactful issues.

Cannot overstate the ease of proximity to the beach and pool. Great friendly people staying in the building. The unit was wonderful and exactly as presented online. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

I not going to lie I was apprehensive about the rental this was the first time we had been to the US in about 15 years. I needn’t have worried everything was exactly as described. The Condo is amazing the view you wake up to, it’s spacious and has everything that you could possibly need self catering. It was super clean and Teeming VR were brilliant with any issues I had before arrival. Would definitely stay again until this apartment if we come back to the US.
