Super friendly staff, great location - able to walk to lots of cafe and the beach. They offer free filtered water to refill you bottle. Comfy beds and great shower (temperature and pressure). Quiet!

The pool is right in front of reception, and just with two beds. It felt a little uncomfortable laying there so close to all the staff

The location is absolutely great! Very near to the main street at Canggu. We rented the bike from the bike store just next to Jinar and it was cheap, very convenient. The staff were friendly and fast to response too.

Loved the pool, the friendly staff, convenient location!

Very nice bathroom, clean room, good air conditioning. We didn't try the swimming pool, but it looked very nice! Free water available at the reception. The location is perfect for exploring changgu, with nice restaurants and bars in the vicinity and not too far from the sea.

The walls of the rooms are a bit thin, so there was a lot of noise coming from the neighbouring room.

The location was convenient and totally quiet despite being close to the street. Staff were very friendly. Everywhere was very clean. Pool area was lovely. No complaints, would recommend someone to stay here.

The property was in a great location, tucked slightly off a main road with lots of great cafes, bars and restaurants within walking distance. Also was situated right next to a scooter for hire place which was very handy. For the most part the peace and quiet was nice. Comfortable rooms and staff were very nice and cleaned up the rooms every day.

Unfortunately on our last night here a group of rowdy European tourists with no manners arrived and decided to treat it as a hostel, partying loudly til 2am doing bombies in the pool, drinking, shouting, playing music etc etc… with the rather thin walls and compactness of the rooms (we also pulled the short straw and had the room directly in front of the pool) we could hear everything almost as if we were in the midst of the party ourself. This is not a criticism on the hotel itself as such however we did think their should be a curfew on when you can use the pool and the staff could potentially tell people to quiet down. we understood that this was a holiday destination and people are free to do as they please but simple courtesy goes a long way and a nudge in the right direction via staff or curfews in place would have been fantastic.

We had a great 2 night stay at Jinar Guesthouse. The room was perfect for what we needed, comfy bed, hot shower and friendly staff.

Jinar guest house is very well located on Batu Bolong but on a private and quite alley, so no noise from the street. very cosy and comfortable guest house . rooms are spacious with space for luggage and wardrobe in the bathroom. the garden and swimming pool are so relaxing ! the manager and staff provide best service whatever you need! already stay twice here, will definitely come back ! Suxema !

The shower was a bit weak

the area was too busy for us personally, although there was little noise at the homestay, just on the main road. As remote workers, some more comfortable seating outside would have been good.

Perfect little hideaway in the middle of all the action. Will definitely come back on our next trip to Changgu, Bali.

Nothing bad I can think of, perfect value for the money.

Location is right at the main street but you don’t hear the street noise. You can refill your water for free. Super friendly staff. Best wifi connection and water pressure we had in Bali. Great brekkie cafe 5mins walk away and super nice fish eatery right on the corner. Aircon worked perfectly.

Bathroom’s ventilation is open for outdoors so we had a big spider inside the bathroom. Although the room service is every day, small cob webs in the corners remained. We stayed longer than a week but our towels and sheets were not changed. Then we asked about new towels and got them. Didn’t use the pool since it didn’t look cleaned, other quests were swimming though.

The garden was beautiful, the room was clean and nice

We only stayed one night, it was raining heavy that night, the shower was partially open which we actually like, but it doesn't work well on heavy rain, the sand of the plants came into the shower floor which makes the drain gets cluttered and makes the shower floods. I think the shower is really nice on dry season.

Really cute guesthouse amongst the hustle and bustle of Canggu. The room was big and clean and the garden was gorgeous.

The outdoor area isn't super big so not much room to chill around the pool.

The staff was helpful and the rooms were clean. We also liked the pool area and the location was perfect for us.
