I like the fact that it's spacious, all the rooms have that unique look. It has that modern look including the beautiful and quality furniture.

It needs a little bit of attention in terms of cleaning. Especially outside, on the veranda and balconies prior checking in of guests.

The beds were hard and uncomfortable and there were no warm blankets. The heaters did not work. I was charged an additional cleaning fee when the price already included a cleaning fee. My son had to sleep on a hard sleeper couch with cushions underneath. We had booked for 2 nights but we left after one night due to the sleeping conditions in the outhouse.

Labeling of keys

You need to be a locksmith to work out how to use the keys - there are more than 20 keys and multiple remotes. The house wasn't particularly clean and they don't supply basics such as toilet paper (not even for the day of arrival) dishwashing liquid, sufficient cutlery, etc.

I love everything about the place. It was clean, very peaceful, safe, very homey. Everything we needed for my stay and more was provided. To top it off, the host was super amazing and very very helpful. Responded promptly to all our aid. Loved our stay. Thank you

We have just returned to UK following a lovely weeks stay at Ariel’s Rest. The house is situated about a 10-15 minute walk from the beach, and has lovely views from the viewing deck. A perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee. The house was very spacious, and accommodated our family of 7 plus family and friends that visited throughout our stay with ease. All bedrooms are tastefully decorated, and there’s plenty of cupboard space so you don’t have to live out of a suitcase. The kitchen is well equipped (a few more knives/forks/mugs wouldn’t go amiss) and the lounge areas are comfortable. The pool is small in size but perfect for our 3 kids and not too deep either. There’s a studio which is nicely finished, but could do with having a kettle and some crockery . The middle bathroom could do with a bit of modernising We had Yvonne come in to clean a few of the days we was there for a small cost, which was well worth it. Communication prior to arrival and during our visit was great, very helpful responses. All in all, Ariel’s Rest is a lovely home with great potential, I’d definitely look to stay again when visiting SA. Thankyou for sharing your home with us
