We arrived later in the day around 8: PM and Irene greeted us with a friendly smile. The king room we had requested was not available so she set us up in a king suite.

Breakfast was amazing. It’s an older hotel so what can you expect? It’s in good condition and the stay was enjoyable the reception crew was great. Good personality and sense of humor.

The stay was decent. The toiletries were old and smelled moldy. In fact, they were used.

A little surprised that the motel 6 equivalent accomodation, smallish hard mattress, and super thin blanket in cool weather would be a higher price than any other place nearby. Otherwise clean, and serviceable with the heat set higher..

When we entered the room, the smell was bad, it was coming from the carpet.
So nasty!!!!! Stains, looked & smelled gross!!! We were very tired, we didn’t want to change rooms, I regret not doing that. We spayed the carpet with lysol twice, it finally was bearable. Then the bed, it was Puffy on the feet side of the bed. So we slept with our heads at the feet of the mattress. Plus the mattress was very uncomfortable just old and I hurt my back from the mattress. The bathtub had rust marks,
my wife didn’t want to take a bath in it. The room was dated. This was the worst Best Western I’ve ever stayed in. It was just as bad as Motel 6. Now that’s saying something. The only thing that we liked was the staff. We will never stay there again!!!!!

3/30/24. Family of four Rm. 242, double queen, $146/night. The exterior of this "motel" is fine, but the rooms are just a step up from a Econolodge. The carpet and chairs are spot stained, and the wood furniture is all scuffed up. Feels like the bedding is thin and has been washed a million times. The bed was comfortable enough, and hot water was good, with good shower pressure. TV had a good selection with minimal lag between channels. Breakfast had eggs and sausage and all the typical high-carb options. Mini-market next door. The place isn't horrible, but I feel like it's piggy-backing on the Best Western franchise. Next time I'm in Woodland, I'll spend a few bucks more and get my money's worth, or spend less and not be disappointed.

Overall this was a great stay. The young lady at the front desk was polite and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, I will definitely be staying again next time I am in the area.The only issues were that the shower didn't drain quickly enough so water would pool in the tub while showering, and the parking lot was crowded due to a some construction equipment and storage taking up several parking spaces.

The room was comfortable, but in need of upgrading. The carpet was worn and the lighting was poor. Mostly, we needed more blankets to stay warm enough (it was February). The breakfast was quite good, and the staff was very cordial and helpful.

Interesting facility given the style. Kind of a throw back to the 70s motor hotel, but in need of a major upgrade. My room’s door had openings to the outside.

This was a quick stay over after a very long flight into Sacramento landing late in the evening.
Check in was quick, easy, and the clerk Bobby was pleasant to deal with.
Rooms are all outdoor facing (exits out not into a hallway.)
Once inside - room smelled musty, and was quite warm - we turned the AC on which sounded like a big truck was idling inside the room with us. Set the temp for 66 and the room never dropped below 80 regardless of the settings.
Bed was reasonable, bathroom was also reasonable, and clean.

Rooms and property are clean. Beds are terrible and need to be upgraded. The continental breakfast was a joke, paid to eat at restaurant across parking lot... which I highly recommend.

It's a fine property but it's pretty dated. Our room was spacious, but the furniture was older. Lighting was poor in the room as well. On a positive note, the shower had amazing water pressure, which is a huge plus for me. So many newer properties have water saving showerheads, and I get why, but those heads always decrease the pressure tremendously. So, I loved the shower. Breakfast was okay, nothing spectacular, but fine for the one night we were there. Staff was very very friendly, so A+ to them.
