Good hotel next to Spring Hill station which you can use to get into DC in 30 mins.
Walmart is around the corner, 2 close stops on the train to Tysons Corner with a shopping centre and restaurants.

The rooms are spacious and nicely appointed. The bed was quite comfortable and the overall impression was good. In my opinion, they could do better with the bar/ restaurant offerings. The lady serving at the bar was exceptional, but the food selection was bleak, at best. There was only bar food available in the evening for dinner which I was disappointed in. One thing irritated me tremendously…in the two days I stayed they had ice cream on the menu, but I was told they had no ice cream. It’s one of the few little pleasures I enjoy after a long day, so I was disappointed. If there was better food service available it would certainly up their level. Also, i had to call and ask for a copy of my bill. When I left I was told it would be emailed to me, but it wasn’t. I had spent $1000 in two days so it was important for me to have this information for expenses reporting. Little things like these make the hotel less than it could potentially be.

Breakfast was wonderful as expected. Only negative is the HVAC would not turn off at the wall switch. Multiple trips to the room by the maintenance technician did not solve the problem as he said new parts were required. Front desk seemed understaffed. Overall, a convenient location to downtown DC at a substantially cheaper cost.

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Booked it because of affordability and the already great reviews but we were amazed when we arrived. Hotel is modern and very open. Rooms were very spacious and clean. Breakfast option was one of the best we have had in a complementary breakfast, made to order omelets! You also receive complementary drink tickets for the bar for happy hour (we didn’t utilize those)
Only negative was the fold out sofa bed had a fitted sheet already on it which resulted in crumbs being on it, so we weren’t exactly sure if it was clean. No big deal, just used the flat sheet provided but made sure to strip the sofa bed before leaving.
Everything else was top notch and when we go back to DC we will definitely be staying here again!

Really loved the spacious room! The cabinet in the bathroom was a little banged up and there was no fan but a dusty vent in the shower but otherwise room was clean and decorated nicely. Appreciated free breakfast and complimentary drink tickets. Poole was nice for kids but not a lot of seating for parents playing lifeguard. Location was easy access and within walking distance to eateries. Also appreciated snacks and bar offered in hotel.

We stayed for one night for a concert. Room was in great condition. Had minimal staff interactions as the hours we entered and left were late. The Hot breakfast was one of the best stay in breakfasts, I've been offered. But a fantastic stay would do again If we make it back to this area.

Just what we needed for our family spring break trip. Good breakfast. The evening reception was a nice perk. Also nice to have laundry available. A hot tub would have been nice after walking all day but that wasn’t our top priority. Thank you for a nice stay

For the money is still has half the tv channels in analog. I haven’t see that in years. Not good for business. Inundated with rowdy young kids running the halls on field trips until the middle of the night. They were no segregated but interspersed with the business trackers. Notes is dated. The only great thing was the free omelet bar that was great

It was good! Everything was clean including the pool. Breakfast was good. Happy hour was a nice bonus. The only problem we had was that even after maintenance came and “fixed” the air conditioner, it didn’t work. Our room was pretty warm and stuffy.

Was great, nice decent size room was clean and comfy. Has an indoor pool it isn’t huge but it’s not all that small either just doesn’t go past 4-4.5’ deep. Enjoyed it and would recommend this hotel.

Our stay at the Embassy Suites, Tyson’s corner was absolutely fabulous!!! The suite was beautiful, the breakfast was excellent and the staff was great!!! I will be repeating my stay in June. Highly Recommend!!!! Thank you so much!!!

We love Embassy Suites but there was an issue with the water. The water was set to be turned off at 10 AM and we had to rearrange our morning to accommodate the water. We have two small children under the age of 2. It would have been nice to know this before we came to town.

The heating did not work. First of all the heating is controlled. The technician came and fixed it once. The second time I called, the technician informed me that the heating does not work in that room and I should change my room.
On the first day, the breakfast had run out of butter. Also, they had run out of some fruits that they normally offer. All of that was available the next morning.
Did not receive my receipt after checkout, because staff member had not added my email id to my profile.
Some staff are friendly and nice. Some staff members will make it feel as if you are a burden to them. Maybe the staff are overworked and not happy.
I love this hotel, but it can be a hit or miss.

Spacious rooms. Bed was stiff and uncomfortable. Heat and A/C in room were inconsistent and difficult to set and temps were different in each room. TV is old with poor guide and selection. Room consistently had an unclean, moist smell.

Pros: Overall a nice place. Good location close to restaurants and shops. Great pool and gym. The complimentary breakfast buffet was amazing.
Cons: The not so good... Took over 30 minutes to check-in since there was only one person at the desk. It was my understanding that this hotel was non-smoking but my room had a strong smoking smell. Also, the bathroom (particularly the toilet and bathtub) was not clean. I needed to clean the bathtub before I could use it.

Very comfortable and welcoming hotel! Definitely would book again for a quick getaway again. The free breakfast was cool but the omelette station was even better!
