The bed is comfortable but close to the door. The heater is great. Breakfast you can make your own pancake is nice and you can take something away. Sorroundings with Danny's and some restaurants, a small Korea super market that you won't get hungry. The room noisy is terrible... I'm not aware this is motel type. It is noisy from morning to night. People walking, talking and luggage moving sounds with floor shaking, clean car moving sounds, baby sounds, car open & close sounds. I can't sleep after the long flight trip. Sweaming pool is closed. Now I knew why some people said think twice before coming. Not recommend to who can't stand noisy environment.

Our hotel was sparkling clean, even the guest laundry room, and everything, such as locks and plumbing, worked properly. Plenty of good lighting in the room, very comfortable beds, air conditioning that worked well, reacted quickly when set, and could be regulated easily, guest toiletries that smelled nice and were not too perfumic. The staff was great. Best of all, the restaurant right next door provided a GREAT "included" breakfast, with everything one could want, and all the staff there worked hard to make us all happy and satisfied. This was one of the best run hotels we have ever been in and it was a pleasure to stay here. We would definitely book this hotel again..

Not exactly what I expected. Very run down, noisy, sketchy area with few amenities. Strange that guests would be allowed to stock up plates and take out containers with the free breakfast, leaving the buffet sparse. Front desk staff were very nice.

I found the desk personel very courteous and the breakfast staff were very hospitable and friendly. Unfortunately my bed stay was not good as I found bites on my legs. Upon inspection of the sheets I discovered 5 blood spots on the sheet. I reported this to the front desk and they apologized for my experience. The hotel manager called me to tell me they had a professional pest control company in and they found no bed bug eggs. I told her the bites and blood stain on the sheet indicate that there was something feeding on me. I told this to the manager and all she would say is that the pest control company are professionals. She suggested that my bites and blood stains on the sheets could be an allergy to linen I stay at Best Westerns expecting to be safe and clean. I will no longer be making that assumption. I have photos of my bites & blood stains on the sheets but won't be posting them on this site The manager simply said 'I'm sorry there is nothing I can do" Think twice about staying here.

I am a frequent business traveller, and have experience with all kinds of hotels. I must say my stay at Best Western Plus Burnaby is perfect, especially, the free breakfast staff Cong and Eva are exceptional. They made me feel even better than at home! Their optimistic and merry personality lightens up my days, as well as their impeccable cleanses, organization, and flavoured food. This is way beyond what a KPI driven system could deliver. Their bilingual service in both English and Chinese adds on top of the already perfect performance. I will definitely choose Best Western Plus Burnaby for my future travels to Vancouver. We’ve stayed here in the past so knew what to expect. Clean and comfortable rooms, good breakfast, and close to allot of stuff. Our son is at BCIT so the location was excellent for visiting him.

The amenities, you had all you needed on a vacation .

They were great at booking pet friendly with my large dogs. Most hotels give me trouble with my dogs, they are well behaved and quiet but they are big. Thank you best western.

The property was fine

We were in a room at the back of the building on the main floor. The soundproofing is not good…it’s noisy when people walk past. They were scattering salt after we had fallen asleep and were quite noisy. The people in the room above us were also noisy. Taking our puppy out for a final walk late at night felt unsafe. The area is also very busy noisy with traffic. The room was very small.

The property and desk clerk were great. My booking for a pet friendly room and followup message to confirm this, via expedia text message link, was not forwarded to the hotel, which put me in a bind. Fortunately, the clerk was able to shift me to the only available pet friendly room.

Our arrival and early entry to the suite made our stay. It allowed us to settle in, before going off to a Christmas Dinner.....also nice to have car next to suite. I should mention the array of included breakfast choices certainly a large step or two above average.

The room was clean albeit fairly worn and dated. However there were no signs of pests and I felt safe during my stay. Can’t complain at all for the price!

Was expecting a hotel not a motel !

Easy check-in with friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was awesome with lots of choices. Location wonderful in order to take SkyTrain to watch C.Sinclair play final soccer match. Proximity to Metro town makes walking easy.

Awesome place to stay. Very clean. Staff are amazing from Check in what a beautiful front desk clerk. She was so welcoming and just too not customer service. I cannot recall her name :(( but we were a late check in and she was just perfect. Beautiful room. Super comfy beds. We will stay again!! :)) oh ya-Breakfast buffet ROCKED!!!!

This was a nice hotel overall. They have good coffee machines both in the lobby and in rooms. However, be aware that the hotel check-in is at 4:00 pm (rather late, in my opinion) and they didn't let me check in early. I had to wait in the lobby right until 4:00. This appeared to be the case for others as well.

so it is motel not a hotel but they make up for that with friendly service, good breakfast and clean spacious rooms. It is need of updating but what is there is nice, the high speed was amazing and the optick TV incredible...with new TVS in the room large screen.
