The bed

We had a great stay! Everything was clean and comfortable. The bartender Amber was super-friendly and amazing! We had a great time playing music there. Thank you.

I had a junior suite. Room had strange layout, lighting was a harsh white, but even with all lights on, the room was very dark. Carpet was dirty and countertops were not clean either. Wall/ceiling behind the headboard were stained by splat marks from...male bodily fluids. Toilet seat was very loose and kept shifting around, specks of dried urine when seat was lifted. Clearly not cleaned since last guest. Breakfast area branded by Starbucks was also dirty, and french toast was hard and barely warm, the strawberries were still frozen all the way through.

Great overall experience.

All was very nice and as expected. Very much appreciated the quiet accommodations ☺️ but wish coffee was free self serve. Don't bother with in room coffee maker 😔

This hotel needs serious updating. It’s very tired, cracks, and old everything old. Hours of the Bar are very limited, as is the food. Person at check in was half asleep at 3:00 pm. Also only one elevator was working. Price and location is good for our needs.

Our stay was exactly what we needed. The location was perfect for me.

upon check in one of the desk clerks was attempting to honor a request promised over the phone to an elderly relative. She was reprimanded by another. It was awkward to say the least. The bartenders were great. Shout out to Amber!! Starbucks should be opened later than 10am.

Nice and clean!!

We came here to visit our daughter at the university of New Haven. There were cheaper options a little closer but we chose this hotel because of the name. Everything was great, but I believe in being honest. As soon as we walked into the room, you could see the stains on the wall in front of the desk. When I put the suitcase on the bed, I could see stain on the bed spread. Other than that everything was great. I have to to admit I was Al little disappointed.

The property was nice, we simply didn't get the room we reserved (a king with a pull-out couch) and there was no explanation as to why. They did bring up a cot to accommodate, but without any pillows or extra blanket. When we went into the closet to use the extra pillow and blanket that was already in the room, and it appeared as if the extra pillow had vomit on it. It was grossly soiled, no one had checked those items for a while it seemed. The room was otherwise clean, as was the hotel, it was just a few hiccups in an otherwise fine hotel.

Hotel is great it could use some minor cosmetic updates. Beds air conditioning and overall space is fine. Location to my daughters college is fine.

Well thought out suite with a complete kitchen. Black out curtains were excellent for sleeping in and a noon checkout was a pleasant surprise.

Unlike last time, no connecting door so nice and quiet neighbors! And the bathroom extractor fan was working this time! Hotel is fine … clean room and plenty of device charging points. Beds were comfortable enough. Nice down (or feel like down) pillows! Staff friendly, helpful and available when needed. I lost some cash somewhere and after checkout I called to see if I left it in my room - front desk lady went to my room to check (unfortunately not there, but thank her for trying!) The most annoying thing is the very low height of the toilets in room. I am not disabled and reasonably fit for my age, but they are way too low. Never seen this low height toilet ANYWHERE! I am 6’ and this was the most uncomfortable bathroom visit in my life (except for the two bricks and a hole in the ground I once experienced in France!) Can’t imagine who sourced these, but they must have got a sweet deal on pricing because they were probably designed for an elementary school!
