Paint blisters on stairs railing, no stopper in sink, antiquated low toilet

We didnt. First room looked like someone had lived there a week. 2nd room wasn't very clean. So we packed up and left. No refund. Theu refused. For $105 night...it was worth the loss to NOT stay there. Will never go back.

3 PM arrival and I had to wait after ringing the bell. The people were in the back doing who knows what. once I got to the room that was in a weird back alley I entered the room and saw some cockroaches running across the floor. The TV didn’t work, the room smelled and it was dirty. I did not stay in the room one minute. I went back to the lobby and nobody would come after ringing the bell. We left immediately. I tried to get a refund in Hotels.com and the hotel so they could not give me a refund. The fact a Hotels.com has this hotel on their website is a huge disappointment.

Price was low, towels were clean, shower pressure and heat good, but the quality of the room was bad. Unmade stained sheets under bedspread Old lumpy mattress Sickening odor, locks broken Bugs in bathroom & walls

It goes with the rating I think for a 2 star it really was a 2 star. Dirty sheets we put towels to sleep and checked out way before the end of our stay. The cabinet in between the beds looks like it has never been vacuumed and the carpet when we walked around made the back of your feet black. The receptionist is the only thing that was good about the place.

"POOP There It Is". Aug. 5, 2023. Worst experience ever. Got in the room and it was gross. Went to the bathroom and there was "POOP" and had to flush it. Gross out already, the bed look very unclean. The whole room stunk. We decide NOT TO STAY there for our health. Went to the office, one lady said sorry (thus the 2 star on staff), but the manager just had this perplexed look in her face. I asked to be checked out with a receipt and she looked dazed, gave me the receipt, no apologies!!! Total waste of money. Can't believe this hotel is even listed. #roachhotel #hotelhell

Nasty!! I stay at a lot of budget motels to keep the running events I attend affordable. This was BY FAR the dirtiest, unkept, and unsafe location. Even the toilet had bugs crawling in and around it. The building should be condemned. Save your money and sleep in your car before you waste it here! I’m genuinely baffled how this place is in business.

Was a nice stay after finding the place. Would stay there again!

The amenities are fine but the staff and management were available only sporadically and instructions for check out were not clear.

This property is in serious need of repairs.

I did not feel safe staying at this property with my children. We ended up not staying/left after about 20 minutes and not being reimbursed. There were people who were obviously living in the motel and some shady looking characters wandering around.

It was inexpensive

First off at least have the professionalism to change the website for your change in check in time. It states 2pm and when you get there its changed to 3pm on a piece of paper. Then there is no front desk customer service representative, and door is locked during business hours. Ring bell and be received by a dirty discusting person with no personality. Then after one evening of a 3 day stay i get a knock and when i open the door a person in unkempt clothes askes for room service? So i guess he worked there? No uniform. Second day was a day to have room serviced.... but no one showed up on the day it mattered. The room was not clean completely, spiderwebs and spiders hanging out. Visible damage to multiple areas. Garbage everywhere. An unsafe work zone in the back of the hotel with a child running around it. And finally when it was check out time, again customer service door locked and now the piece of paper had do notri g bell, call a number. What???? I have NEVER had to call a fro t desk to work at standard check out time....or ever actually. Will pay extra to stay somewhere else!! PS. Sleeping apparatus was awfull, so if you want a good night's sleep while away frome home DO NOT GO TO ROADWAY!!!!¡

Disgusting and horrible. The pictures online did not show the current condition of the motel and the rooms. Drapes falling off the rods, sheets and bedspread were raveling and had holes, furniture in poor condition, towels were dirty, and many more unacceptable conditions in the room. The online description stated daily housekeeping cleaning which was not done. Office not open at 9 am for checkout, receipt and breakfast.

DIDNT LIKE CLEANING CART PEOPLE HANGING OUT FRONT OF MY ROOM (Blocking View of River) for 4 hours 0600-1000 (4 rooms in corner 2nd floor) Kinda defeats a “QUIET VACATION SETTING”!????? Had GREAT VIEW OF A CLEANING CART!!! Next time 1st Floor (my 90yo Dad has bad legs/no elevator)

The place has a great location just needs a whole lot of care. It’s run down and poorly managed. If they can’t afford to remodel and upgrade the rooms at least clean them and them ready for guest. No toilet paper, light bulbs out, bathroom door doesn’t close, TV only received 10 channels, walls and mirrors were dirty and stained, and the bathroom floors were sticky. I could keep going. I knew that the place wasn’t going to be nice based on price and other reviews, but realize it was going to be that bad. I overpaid at $100 per night. Room 118

there are few places to stay in Stevenson. I always stay at Rodeway Inn. It does not pretend to be great. I find it adequate and reasonably priced. That has its merits. It is well situated in town so walking everywhere is possible. Sometimes just good enough is just fine

Very run down and outdated. For a single woman traveling alone, somewhat scary. Not the cleanest place I've stayed at.

It was really run down and dirty. Host wasn’t friendly and was hard to understand.

You know you're in a sketchy hotel when the sign at the registration desk says: "$250 fine for cleaning fish in the room"..... Towels were clean, bed, although squeaky, enabled us to 'sleep'. TV didn't work, HORRIBLY slow internet speeds, but it was there. Owner was less than helpful in trying to resolve an issue, so I gave up as it was clear she was not going to try to be helpful. We were there for a quilting retreat weekend so were not in the room much. I would have gone elsewhere, but silly me, I had booked it with no cancellation.... lesson learned to never do that again!

This facility is older and in a smaller town. It needs a major facelift. Some of the posts on the upper balcony need replacement. They are rotting away. Looks like it is mainly used by folks looking lower costs. Lots of fishermen and construction workers. Would not be a place for many traveling families.

Maintenance response nonexistent. Reported nonworking tv on day one. Stayed 4 days - without working tv.

Rodeway did not answer phone number Expedia person gave me saying I had to contact Rodeway to cancel or change. Called many times over several days with recorded answer saying "we are not here". Had to cancel and wanted reservation for later date. Texted today but no response yet.

It was cheaper by at least half than our other options. It didn't smell. The manager was pleasant.

It is not clean. There is stains on the sheets, the floor is dirty, there is human hair in the shower. Theres an exposed outlet with wires.

THE ROOM WAS DIRTY. THE SHOWER ESPECIALLY. EVEN HAD A DIRTY COFFEE CUP ON COUNTER. WINDOW WIDE OPEN. BED UNCOMFORTABLE. DO NOT RECCOMEND.

The price is low, the staff polite, The room okay nothing spectacular. There is a rail line nearby with trains going by every 30 minutes 5am to Midnight. You get what you pay for, a place to sleep (if you can through the trains).

There are beautiful views outside our window. The lady at check in was very friendly. The town of Stevenson was charming.

all the crap in parking lot like an old wash mach stuff spillng out of maint room buckets and such realy trashy appearance.the room was good though.

Price was less than others in the area. they need to fix the exhaust fan in the bathroom and I waited about 8 minutes for someone to appear at the office to check us in.
