One of the WORST stays I've had at America's Best Value Inn in Garland. The girl at the desk upon my arrival was very RUDE and lacked professionalism as well as a lack of customer service skills. Especially after asking to honor their own policies. Upon arriving to the room after going to grab some dinner, when I walked through the door I was hit with an immediate slap in the face of stale, funky air to which I blew off as the air not being on. So I continued to check out the room and I find the tub and bathroom dirty, a used dry towel hanging from the back of the bathroom door, mirror unclean and streaked with handprints. On top of many hair balls on the floor, a floor that was sticky and unswept let alone mopped from the looks of it days had passed. Not too mention the fact that behind the room door in the corner was from the looks of it a pile of fish food or some kind of pellets. So I try to call the office a few times as well as go down there, ALL of which was a waste of time as it was too late to change rooms do to being booked! Now I've stayed at this hotel several times through the years and again this is the ABSOLUTE WORST stay I've had at the hotel!

Not too familiar with the area so when I drove up I immediately asked for a refund. The desk person was rude. I told her that I was not going to stay because the area was unsafe. She said that I had to contact Expedia for a refund. She was getting loud with me when I explained that there were people sitting outside the rooms doing drugs. And waking into the office just to get here was unsafe. She said she couldn't do anything about it. All this time she stood behind a locked door with a small window from the inside of the lobby.

I felt better in my car than in these rooms. My room , the heater didnt work at all, i paid to be inside and not freeze out but it was basically the same...Beds and towels are always stained , dirty looking. Shower curtain is nasty, old throw up on the side walls in bathroom, mold in cracks in the shower and people hanging alot all over outside. Fronts desk workers always rude Never again. Waste of time and mondyv.

The people there very rude they hard and scrimmaging you cannot understand them because they’re foreigners and I don’t know American English. It was just not a pleasant day at all.

There is nowhere to hang clothes and no hangers. There is only one trash can. No drinking glasses or coffee. The bedsheets were not clean and there was no hair dryer.

Didn’t have basic stuff like remote to TV. Water pressure in sink was low. Don’t get me started on the bed linens with cigarette holes in it, but stressing to ME not to smoke in the room and I don’t even smoke.

Besides having a hard time
checking in the deposit requirements or different for each travel app that you go through. It doesn't matter if it's there own Wyndman app. Its different and very confusing and it doesn't help that Expedia doesn't notify that a deposit is required at the first sign in. But the lady behind the counter did help me out and guide me to the right place which allowed me to stay here. She was very helpful.!

Checked in because we had plumbing issues at home
The room smelled like smoke my girlfriend is allergic too smoke, was not clean, door did not lock right, was dirty, was told we could check in at 2 was not able too until 3. We left after an hour because of the smell.

Booked the room and arrived at 3am. Needed to stay overnight only because I had a business meeting at 8am. I arrived at the front counter, she did not ask for my ID at first nor look at my reservation number, just asked for my name. She then said NO you dont have a room. After a 9 hour drive and been awake for over 22 hours. I was very frustrated. Finally she issed me a room. We requested a smoke free room of which wreaked with smoke. The smell was disgusting. I then went to the counter again to let her know but she was arguing with another man. I told her that I didn't want to be charged extra for the smoke smell. She said that everyone smokes in the rooms and thats ok. I was too tired to argue so I left it alone.

I’m driving across the country with my child and dog. I booked a room at America’s Best hotel thru hotels .com. When I got to this hotel a woman there rudely told us they do not have a room for us. I then had to contact Peach at customer support to help me find another hotel. This Super 8 was a good distance out of my way but, I had to take it. I’m very dissatisfied in the service and support from Hotels.com and hope this review helps you to not do this to another family.

Omg our stay was sad, the room was not clean the bed spread had stains there was no towels. An the worst thing was we go awakened by things thrown off the balcony from the people that owns this Rat Hole. I’m going to try and get my money back. This happened at 7:00 am Sunday morning with the things being thrown off the balcony 😡😡

This place is terrible. Nasty, dirty, unfriendly. Sheets were dirty and they wouldn't give me anything to replace it with. I slept with no sheet. Maid kept bugging me to get out before the scheduled checkout time. Do not come here.

it was absolutely disgusting and disappointing. we were literally killing roaches all night. roaches on the bed roaches on the wall roaches on the curtains. floors were clearly not swept had to keep shoes on whole time. the air conditioner is leaking and theres a leak in the roof. i usually stay until 11 but was so uncomfortable i left early.

I reserved a two bedroom and she gave me a king. Lady at the front didn’t care. She didn’t even try to help. Terrible service.

Run down hotel. No coffee in room. Room was fairly quiet. Shower had lukewarm water. Front desk clerk was nice.

In the two weeks I was there they emptied the trash once, changed the towels and linen once. The refrigerator didn't work or the remote for the TV. You could smell pot in the stairwells.
