The location of this hotel is unbeatable. It is close to several tourist locations, restaurants and shopping areas. The access is pretty easy from the airport (the bus stops right at the door) or by train (Seoul station is just 15 min by taxi), something really helpful if you come with family. We chose it for the indoor pool, which has a couple of jacuzzi next to it. It was a perfect choice to relax after walking around. It has several restaurants, but you can also eat nearby at the shopping malls or at the night shopping street. We tried the breakfast at the Aria restaurant and it had a great buffet with lots of options. The pastries were especially delicious. The staff was very nice at every moment and they were fluent in English, and some of them in Japanese. They tried to help us in every way possible. Something to improve would be in-room cleaning. We had a twin-room and moved a bed so we could make a big bed to have three sleeping, and under the bed was quite dirty. It was not cleaned during our three-night stay. Also, it was a bit dissapointing that there were few ammenities in the bathroom.

A bit disappointed with how much the hotel took away little things in the bathroom and in-room fridge. I understand covid allowed hotels to reduce amenities but little things make a difference.

I guess I am getting picky about hotels as I get older. I loved how clean and comfortable this room was. The staff are super helpful as well. I would like to mention Kwon out front and Ray in the lobby who went out of their way to help us upon arrival and with directions afterwards. This was my first visit to Seoul, and the hotel seems to be in a great location. There are a ton of good dining options if you are willing to walk 5 minutes including a market on the block behind the hotel. I will stay here again when I return to Seoul

Great location, service and amenities

I don’t normally give 5 stars to hotel accommodations just because there are quarks and lack of service but this hotel in Seoul deserves 5. My stay was 9 overnights and each night of stay was same cleanliness and quality service that does not miss a beat! Staffs are courteous and accommodating treating with respect and care. I would definitely stay again next time I visit Seoul.

Very convenient location and the staffs were really nice and professional. We stayed in the executive suit for a few days. The executive club cocktail was really good. Will stay again if we’re back in Seoul next time.

Excellent in all respects

It’s just great.Staff are very nice except when I check in, she was a kind of cold, no smile. That was pity. Because the others are all nice. Amenity products smell great, shampoo conditioner and etc. I love those white tea scents. I wish I could buy them if they had gift shop. I will be back there.

Nice, upscale hotel with tons of amenities and fine dining options. The lobby and restaurants are super luxurious and the service is top-notch.

My stay was excellent. If I had to criticize anything it would be the lobby furniture which was worn out and quite dated.

30th August – 2nd September 2023 Seoul, Korea Westin Josun Hotel Seoul Some random thoughts / comments regarding our stay as they spring up: - The 3rd or maybe the 4th time staying in this hotel, so we know they at least keep up to a certain standard, esp. with this brand that caters to international guests - Convenient location that is easily accessible to Myeongdong via the underpass - Overall easy to communicate with hotel staff in English - Friendly, pleasant and efficient staff - Check in was swift and fuss free - Room is clean but looks a bit dated, therefore not a bad idea for some refurbishment - Free Wi-Fi - Lights in room are dim, could do with higher voltage or add more lights - Complimentary bottled water, tea and coffee - All the toiletries needed are provided - Iron and ironing board slippers and laundry bag all provided - Our room category has free access to “Executive Lounge “on 20/F (we were on 17/ F) - Executive Lounge provides complimentary buffet breakfast, simple buffet serving simple food of limited variety and assorted drinks wines served from 7am to 10pm, but after 7 or 8pm there were only drinks and no more food, not even fruit or snacks - All the four / five Executive Lounge lady staff at the reception desk were conversant in English; courteous, jovial, welcoming and very pleasant, always smiling and efficient - Evening turndown service provided - Shower in room needs an upgrade because the water pressure is weak

Got at the hotel early in the morning from an all night flight but the staff was able to accommodate us and checked us in by 11:30am. Able to take a rest and was ready to roam around on foot around Myeongdong

Wonderful central location for our stay. Service was excellent. Lounge access also very good. Very clean hotel and in room service exceptional. Update on dining chairs in lounge is required. A little variation on lounge food would be nice. Overall would definitely stay again.

The Westin Chosun Seoul had world class service, unbeatable location to food, shopping, and transportation, super easy and convenient to get it and from the airport (airport limo bus stops right there!), very affordable. I would absolutely stay there again!

Overall experience good. Bathroom layout and design not the greatest eg No walk-in shower. Bathtub door opens towards the toilet. Toilet flush mechanism is placed low and little awkward to access. Executive club hours could be lengthened an hour; breakfast selection is good, but not so good for evening. Also, evening hour could do with some sweet/dessert offerings.

All excellent except the poor internet

Perfect place to stay. The Westin Josun sits next to the Lotte Premium Shopping Mall (10 minute walk) and also next to the Namdaemun Market (12 minute walk) which is a must try with outdoor vendors selling food. Its a popular place for tourist at night. The Westin Josun staff are very polite, attentive, and helpful. The Hotel is very clean and modern, and popular with a wedding almost every weekend. The in-room dining is great along with the in-house restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel.

Generally, extremely good service staff. Room was a good size for 3 pax. Will consider to stay in this hotel on my next visit to Seoul.
