Front desk attendant excellent. Clean comfortable room. Excellent restaurant.

Very unclear about whats included and not included

The hotel was only a few minutes away from NYC, room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Everything was convenient for my trip, I'll definitely stay at this hotel again.

bathtub clogged. minimal daily maintenance

Easy access, plenty of parking. Unfortunately, I intended to sleep in but the sunlight seeps through the side of the wall! Next time I will bring a sleep mask. None the less I will stay again.

The property was super clean and the staff was very nice. They did have problems with the water, but that wasn’t under their control, so I scratch that off. The restaurant kitchen opens late, which is a bummer. The gift shop, that has snacks and such, seemed to always be closed. Other than that, I would have given it 5 stars.

Very outdated hotel- disappointed for the name of the hotel. The water was cold in the morning too and bathroom toilet seat was so old.. I was scared to sit on it... Musky smell due to carpet on the floor. Do not recommend

The staff was friendly and really nice and gave us delicious cookies which my family and I loved. Overall the hotel was clean but the condition of the building and facilities were dated and sub par. Our room smelled like an old dingy house in a horror movie. Also, our bathroom door was swollen from water damage. The building is overdue for a renovation. We asked for a refund and left the same day as check in because our room did not have hot water. The front desk was very accommodating and sympathetic.

There was a lot of dust on the night table. The room heat was not working properly

The service was very good and staff friendly, but the location is tired and needs updating. House keeping was very clean. Pool was good but hot tub was broken.

Right by the George Washington bridge which is convenient if traveling to NYC. Best value for my money and not too pricey considering that is the holidays. Has restaurant on premises but did eat there. I am from Jersey so ate in local restaurants. I definitely would stay here again.

Good family hotel. Rooms are clean and spacious with very comfortable beds. Lovely, helpful staff. We decided to opt for hiring a vehicle as it seemed the most economical way of getting around in NYC, so the free parking was great.

Did not enjoy my stay here at all. The hotel had advertisement online that the hotel ran a shuttle service to and from Manhattan. This hotel shuttle did not exist on arrival, the only option was a private third company which had limited availability and cost thirty dollars every day per person. Help commuting to and from the city was provided to us from staff in the hotel next door which were much more helpful. Finding our way to the hotel was extremely difficult and the hotel staff were not helpful when expressing this difficulty. the hotel is located on a highway so very restricted on movement once there. One staff member was very rude when discussing the security deposit with me and early check out was a major issue with staff saying that I would have to pay more money if I checked out earlier than my proposed date. Overall very unpleasant stay and would not recommended for anyone. The stay was made very stressful and the unhelpful non-empathetic dealings with staff made it even more stressful and an unpleasant stay.

The next room was so loud until 2:30 am. The front desk did not take care of it.

It was a pleasant experience. The staff were good. We would to acknowledge the buffet guy (Jordan). He was exceptional and trying his best to make everyone happy. Thank you to the hotel management for having him.

Great stay

This property needs to be renovated ASAP! This property from the outside looks nice and the staff is friendly and very professional but the rooms and the floors give ghetto motel vibe. First room that I had was awful. The room was not clean, room smelled like cigarettes, the phone didn’t work, the bathroom was filthy, the 5th floor smelled like old mildew mixed with corn chips. Then the next room they moved me to was on the 3rd floor, the room was better than the first at first glance but then the A/C stopped working so it went from 75 degrees to 96 and it was soooo hot, the sink and tub was very slow to drain. I am suppose to receive a refund but haven’t received it as of yet. Really hope they are planning to upgrade this property because it’s in a great location.

When I turn on dark room when I stepped in, I tried to turn on the stand light but the light burb was dead and I tried to call to the front desk but the phone line was just not working with disconnected wire. The front desk lady even lied about my early check in over the phone but she said she just came in to start the work so my check in was not made in prior. It was humiliating situation because of her lie. The room wall was almost peeled off with some pen mark was on the wall. The breakfast food was not bad but this hotel is totally over priced motel. Not Hotel. I will never come back.

As long as the GW Bridge isn’t too backed up, this hotel is a great option to stay at & save money while visiting NYC. Relatively easy to get to from the city, even easier to get to if traveling from northern NY

Check in was super easy. Room was ok. Fridge wasn’t plugged in. Shower head was at chin level (I’m 5’10”). Shampoo and conditioner were very good. Bed was comfy. Window curtains do not go all the way to the wall, so it was super bright in the morning. Overpriced given all of that.

I was expanding the room to be clean for the price laid sheets had some sort of stain on it I felt uncomfortable to the point where I checked for bedbugs

The property is very old and not maintained well. The carpet is disgusting. The wallpaper is falling off due to water damage. And the plumbing is bad. Our toilet flooded the bathroom and when they switched the room the next toilet barely flushed and the shower ha dle was falling off.

The ceiling look like it had water damage so it was hanging down in some spots. The toilet had tape wrapped around the seat and there was a brown smudge on top on the toilet bowl. I wasn’t sure it was from a cigarette or if it was poo. The air condition is on a timer so it got extremely hot in the room. I had to call the front desk after 2am for it to get serviced. Front desk was extremely nice when we arrived.

Toilet paper supply in my room got a little low. However, the amount supplied worked out okay. Would have appreciated having another spare roll (although don't know if you do this because people are stealing these).

Broken and leaking pipes in the toilets and very poor maintenance and service for the price we paid.

Out of all the Double tree hotels I have attended. This by far is my worst experience. The fact of the matter is, the outlets in the bathroom were not working my wife had to do her hair on the floor in front of the body mirror. How do you not have a microwave in the room ???? that should be mandatory. Just extremely disappointed of the Doubletree in Fort Lee and will never be coming back. How do you not have a microwave in the room it’s pure blasphemy.

The person who checked us in was very rude! Not pleasant and seemed bothered to be at work. When talking to him, he did not answer my questions. No explanation on the $25 charge.
