The only complaint is that the pool was freezing. The kids were so excited to swim but they couldn't be in very long because the water was way too cold. Otherwise the stay was very nice. The draw for the kids was having a pool so that was unfortunate they couldn't enjoy it.

We stay often in the area at different hotels and resorts. We always wondered what the condition of this hotel was. We were very pleased with the staff and the hotel. We would stay here again when in the area. We were a bit disappointed that the hot tub wasn’t operational

Front desk staff rude- unhelpful- nonexistent. The property run down and dirty. The pool and hot tub smelled and was not working and dirty.
Would strongly suggest staying elsewhere!

The facility was clean, neat, and quiet. The facility is older so electrical outlets were awkwardly placed. There was one wall lamp that had excess exposed cord. We were challenged to find places to charge electronics.

It was unique experience because there was a greeter in the lobby and then also a cashier/receptionist behind the counter. Also the hotel only had one entrance and a small stair case.

Very noisy. Could hear the neighbors showering at midnight.
Breakfast was disappointing. Eggs were odd tasting and sausage was of a cheap quality.
The woman who checked us in was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the gentleman behind the front desk in the morning didn't speak to us at all on check out.

The gentleman that was at the front desk in the morning was kind and helpful but the evening and night staff was rude and unhelpful. The place is just very run down for the price. We stayed 11 days and the shower was never cleaned.

This hotel was great. The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot. Overall a really nice place to stay

Man at check in asked me questions about my service dog requesting paperwork. He was hard to understand and rude. Also we only had one cup in our room and it was used. The towel rack kept falling off the wall. The carpet was wet by the air conditioning unit. Train your employees on service dog legalities.

Our room was very clean except for some mold on showerhead. Our washcloths were stained with someone else's makeup.
The pool was decent. The coldest pool I have ever been in.
I signed up for The Wyndham Rewards. Had directions from woman who checked us in to collect my Wyndham Card upon checkout. I called for someone at the front desk. I told him I needed my card. He told me I didn't need it. I asked why she told me to collect it.
By the time he agreed to come I was upset and left.
Continental breakfast was nice to have as well.
Overall the hotel was pleasant. Short drive to lake and attractions.

We were glad to have a good experience inside in Spirit Lake as we were originally going to spend the evening at an outdoor concert but the weather thought otherwise. We had great breakfast, excellent coffee. The screen on the window was not good but the window was closed due to the rain and coolness of the evening. The freezer needed defrosting and one door shelf was missing. We were thankful for the swimming pool, the great breakfast, comfortable staff. Thank you Sid and team.

For the price we paid, the thick slider webs above the window were nasty! Bed was super comfortable and staff was accommodating to our early arrival.

The service was wonderful. The only surprise was that it only offered a continental breakfast. Christina, the person that checked us in, could not have been nicer and informative. After traveling across country she was a blessing to us.

This hotel is a bargain-hunter's dream. It is close enough to all the Okoboji things, but far enough away that the price is right. Also very close to a Walmart and the local emergency room (ER was also staffed with nice people). They do not have "pack-and-play" sleepers, so bring your own. There is no elevator, and I would recommend the stairs at each the end of the hallway vs. the spiral stairs in the lobby (much wider and easier to navigate). The hotel clearly had some remodeling done, and some of it was not quite finished in our room. But the price was good, it was quiet, and the pool met our needs. Breakfast had a limited selection of what you would expect from a bargain hotel free breakfast, but it was good. I would stay here again.

The lady that checked us in Saturday evening was rude. The room was dirty and we tried to use the jacuzzi and it was disgusting. The hot tub was out of order. Way too hugh priced for the horrible experience.
