The staff was amazing- excellent customer service. From front desk, to spa, to house keeping, to waiters, to porters- wonderful interactions. Breakfast was great- loved the omelettes. It was clear that pastries were a day or two old at times and butter tasted like fridge once. That is ok. The view from the breakfast room looked wonderful but it’s really just of the soccer stadium (see photo attached). Unfortunately the room description was very misleading. Our view was a sliver of the Bosphorus. It would be a joke to call it a partial view. We were above the roof bar which was nice but meant we did not get good sleep. The DJ was good though lol. Bed was lumpy, cigarette smoking smell was present in room (and despite complaining, hotel declined to switch rooms and instead said they would ask neighbor to stop smoking), and room *felt* outdated. It was not like the ritz Carlton experience I have had elsewhere. Location was mediocre- about 15 min walk to taksim and 20 to besiktas but on a hill with roads that had limited sidewalks. The spa was perfection! No hot tub, but I did get a hamam treatment and loved it. Pool was beautiful to look at but cold. I wouldn’t stay here again instead opting for another Marriott property.

It’s a lovely hotel , but you have to travel to see anything , as it’s not near any attractions, bars or restaurants. The pool was closed and I didn’t receive my promised wine as a silver member.

This is a true five star hotel, from the security checks to enter to the excellent and welcoming service. Wonderful mattresses and pillows ( even a pillow selection of your choice) we had a wonderful luxurious relaxing stay. The views are amazing, the bar and restaurant areas too. The sauna and steam bath separated for women and men really lovely. Downsie was that the indoor pool as well as the outdoor pool were closed for renovation. We were travelling beginning of April with temperatures around 23 and would have loved to relax outside along the pool and taje in some sun after all the walking of sightseeing. It seems the pool season outside doesn't start before June, maybe something to reconsider. Especially if the indoor pool gets long maintenance . This was not mentioned on the website when we booked.

Its a complete rip off both by the hotel and hotel.com. Being one of the top brand in hotel industry ritz carlton istanbul don't have any operational swimming pool. No where on the website at the time of booking its been mentioned. No vegetarian option for breakfast very limited choice. After repeated complaint the hotel offered to go to another hotel which is 5 km from the hotel to go for a swim. It was totally unacceptable so they offered some spa but later they came up with excuses its all fully booked. Never again being a titanium elite with marriott it was a big big mistake to book via hotel.com who are not even ready to cancel the remaining ays out of 5 days trip and move to another hotel. Totally disappointed with a brand like RITZ carlton.

We booked 2 rooms and was told early check in is subjected to room availability (fair enough) and the guaranteed check in time was 3pm. However when we check in at 3pm, they told us one of the room isn’t ready but will be ready in a few mins, guess what..,we only got the other room at 6pm and was then told the reason is because we requested rooms close to each other when we did the reservation, why wasn’t that convey to us at 3pm? We were so tired after the flight so imagine the frustration and the long wait.. there was really loud music on one of the nights we stayed.. kept me awake until 130am…otherwise it was a good stay and bf spread was good too.

From the moment we entered the Hotel, it felt like you were welcome and everything was done to make your stay as comfortable and special as possible. From the cloth that miraculously arrived for my optical glasses and the beautiful bookmark to the very observant and attentive staff at breakfast helping you carry your porridge and juice to your table. The hotel is Ok. However , we are talking about Ritz… OK isn’t enough. There are so many other beautiful hotels in the area, but we chose Ritz, to be sure that we’ll get the best service. We were sooo wrong. Hotel is old, renovation needed, elevators work slow, spa is a complete disaster, tiles are missing in a pool and on a floor, steam room is barely working, jacuzzi and pool are the same water temperature etc Our flight was later the day of check out so we requested a luggage pick up and storage. Imagine our surprise when we found out that they simply left 2 suit cases, a baby stroller and our coats on the street… literally outside the building, while we were waiting in a spa for 4 hours. the temperature outside was minus 4 C. Doesn’t feel comfortable to put on freezing coats and use cold stroller.it took them some time to find our luggage whatsoever
On the other hand we did enjoy our breakfasts and the staff in the restaurant was amazing!

We stayed at the Ritz-Carlton Istanbul for three nights and had the most incredible experience and can’t wait to return! The staff was very attentive and the concierge curated experiences, and booked activities for us. We traveled with two kids (6 and 8) who were so sad when we departed. They enjoyed the kids club, the pool and the lounge access. The lounge has delicious food all day and was super convenient to refuel up throughout the day. I can’t recommend this property enough. It wasn’t just a vacation, it was a full experience.
