A nice secluded location away from the hustle and bustle of Miami. We arrived a couple of days before a cruise and it was a great way to get into vacation mode and start relaxing. Plus just a short ride to the cruise terminal. Also it was close enough we went to both Biscayne and Everglades National Parks. The adult pool was a nice separate area away from the main pool. Service at the pool was good which I have found lacking at other resorts. We tried several of the restaurants and enjoyed them all. Be sure to stop at the Rum Bar. I loved the 3 one ounce rum tasting options. Really enjoyed sitting on the balcony and seeing the ocean. The full moon rising over the waves was a photo opportunity not to be missed. If I had to come up with a negative plot would be how narrow the beach was. Can’t really blame the hotel for that though. I would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again.

There was nothing really to do at the hotel when it rained of was windy. There is also nothing to do at night except for dinner. The hotel needs upgrading it’s not modern and nothing really stood out - I expected more from a Ritz-Carlton. The staff members, however, were very attentive, friendly and helpful.

We had a great experience. The only negatives were the rooms were a little dated- the bathroom lights were so dim it was difficult or get ready and we he shower was really narrow so my sister went to the spa to get ready. Also the staff could be a little rude- some of them were somewhat lacking the customer service attitude. I called to reschedule a massage a few hours in advance and they told me I couldn’t do that I had to pay full price to cancel it and I said I didn’t wanna cancel just move it and they said I could do that it is in their policy… so I looked at their policy and it said you could do that you just have to pay a $50 fee which I would have happily paid. We had a few experiences like this with staff. Besides the negatives the food at the restaurants was outstanding. The property was quiet and easy to Uber into downtown Miami for dinner. The beach was a little short but directly in front of the property and easy to access. We would stay here again.

We absolutely loved everthing about this property. I want to especially communicate what makes this place special. Your staff that go above and beyond for their guests. Having witnessed numerous entitled people and their children,and the patience,kindness and professionalism displayed despite the obnoxiousness of some of the guests(mostly with children).As a parent myself I was horrified at the public display of careless,spoiled and no boundary behaviors of these people and their spawn. Yet your wonderful staff rose above with a smile and courteous care. Everyone from the front desk, to the pool to every resturant was pleasant and elegant. I especially would like to mention Jannus who was our waiter and Rolondo our breakfast waiter were so wonderful. The beds were so comfortable, the rooms were so cheerful and clean, Your housekeeping staff friendly and helpful.The front desk staff were amazing on every level. We can't wait to visit again!

We were here for a last minute get away. First time at the property and we loved every minute. The staff was fantastic immediately upon check in with Antonio. Every staff member went above & beyond, including Robert, Concierge, and Zadi, David, server at the pool and Miguel. We look forward to our next trip!

Probably the most friendly staff Ive ever interacted with in any hotel. There were some staff that spoke no english in some of the more simple positions but all were very friendly and helpful. It was an expensive stay but that was expected. A decent amount of shopping and restaurant options on hotel property. The beach was messy from a recent storm I believe but the water was a comfortable temperature. The food and drinks were really good.

If you’re looking for a place to visit that’s relatively quiet, this is a great place to visit. My only complaint is the hallways were pretty dirty which is very my unlike other Ritz Carlton’s I’ve been to

LOVED our stay. The lobby staff was very accommodating, the pool was superb, and the little shops were very convenient.

Our mattress felt old, one day our room wast made. We arrived 8:30pm and it was still the same as we left in the morning.

The property is outdated, and the hallways had a weird smell. It obviously wasnt terrible but i expected more from ritz. Also keep in mind that “no view” means roof view.

The hotel and the ambiance is ritzy with a Cuban flare.
It is a little relaxing paradise away from the lively city of Miami and still near if you want to go for a day or night trip where there is plenty to do.
Locally renting a bike and exploring the island was very relaxing. If you want to enjoy get either an ocean view or bay view room. The resort view although has a partial view of the beach and the building next door the balcony could be noisy by the cooling fan that are on the roof top on the right side of the building.the staff is very pleasant and accommodating.
The beach had a lot of seaweed although they try hard to clean it it was impossible. The sea weed is seasonal.
We enjoy the long walks on the sand and the pool were very nice so we spent most of the day there.

Nice family hotel resort with the option to relax in adult designated pool and spa areas. Would expect a Hotel like the Ritz-Carlton to have a nice gourmet resteraunt focusing on adults.
