Looked at a rooftop dirty, carpets horrible place

The room was clean and the staff were nice. There were no blankets on the bed, only sheets.

I arrived early and they had a room ready but I was charged for early check in despite being a Hilton rewards member.
Room and bathroom were a good size There was however no soap at the sink for handwashing
Cleaning was pretty good but could have been better. There were definitely remote areas that were missed with vacuum
And the bottom of the desk chair (the part above the wheels ) had something spilled all
Over it that actually looked like blood but I am assuming it was coffee or wine.
Front desk staff was very pleasant.

Honestly just an overall quality stay, Housekeeping, service desk, room service, everyone I dealt with was polite, efficient, and helpful. I would easily stay again if in the area

The HGI offered a convenient option to stay after an event. There’s a nice bar and the property is very nice. Room was clean and comfortable.

Overall it was ok the rooms are getting a little dated but it was clean. The front desk booked me into the wrong room but they quickly corrected it. The restaurant is nice.

The lobby hotel is very nice along with the restaurant- however staying here many many times the rooms are terrible. They certainly need new carpets and updates. Terrible.

We stay at this hotel pretty regularly when we go in to see our parents who live on Staten Island. Each time we go there is an issue with the room that we reserve. Either they don't have a record of it, the price is different, or the style of room is different. This time we had a room on the top floor with a really loud barking dog right next door to us which was not pleasant at 12 a.m. when it started barking. We also came back to our room on Christmas eve and the stink of pot was all over our room. We do not spoke and we can only assume that it came thru the bathroom vent or from the connecting door to our neighbors which was never open. It was really gross. The tub was also filthy as most of the time at this hotel it is the case. Very frustrating!

The hotel was your typical Hilton; checking off all the boxes with a 5…cleanliness, friendliness, comfort, etc. My only complaint was that the music from the bar or banquet room was so loud, that I needed ear plugs to tune it out to get some sleep.

Clean, quiet and very nice hotel.
Said no to housekeeping but on the 2nd day housekeeping replaced towels and made our beds. That didn't feel comfortable because several items were spread on our beds before we left that morning. Had to look around to find the items back.

This hotel is in dire need of a remodel. Cleaning staff is pushy when it comes to cleaning your room. Lobby was freezing when we arrived; they didn’t have the entry door heaters on. Room was small and not worth $200 per night. Pillows were terrible.

This hotel was average, this hotel needs a full make over for the rooms. The front desk area and bar are more updated than the rooms, the rooms the wall paper is peeling in the two rooms I had, the doors had big scratches on them, some bathrooms rust spots on the sides of the tub. The rooms need new furniture, chairs. I sent pictures to a supervisor, so she would be aware. The hotel staff was very nice except the overnight desk lady, she was very rude and unprofessional how she spoke to me. I feel like she put some guests needs above others as well.

We booked 1 room with a king size bed and when we got there they let us know that wasn’t available so we got two queens which was fine but the room itself for the price on a Wednesday evening was so unbelievably small and extremely dark. There was all of two lamps in the entire room. Otherwise I’ve stayed there before and the property is beautiful and the food is excellent.

I was staying at the hotel for a high school reunion at another location. I came to SI after a few days in Manhattan. The hotel is at the other end of the Island. Unfortunately the S46 bus from the ferry goes through a rough area of the Island and then shortened the route that mandated I use an Uber for that remaining part of the trip. There’s a Hampton Inn right next to the Hilton in that same newish business complex. I took an Uber back to the ferry for around $31 that was much nicer and safer ride than the bus.

The staff was very unfriendly and actually a bit rude. When I checked in the lady was seemed very bored with her job. She didn't tell me where the elevator was, when breakfast was, what the wifi was or anything.
