This was relly an amazing stay that I truly recommend. A tropical beach resort polished and improved over the years. Amazing service and staff, great overall facilities, food and reasonable prices. A superb value resort! There are some things I think they need to quickly change to maintain the high standards: 1 - definitely to renovate the hillside pool, some tiles are broken, others stained and with odd colors, as also some bricks around the pool and in the poll bell tower. And what happened to the pool foundations and under the pool walls?? It seems unfinished... also, the water in that pool was not nearly as clear as the beachside pool! Something should be done. 2 - the happy hour. I mean the idea is great and the prices are a bargain! However the place is not good, the bar has an odd design, there is not enough places for the guests to seat as everyone goes down there at the same time...the service suddenly falls down to a fraternity party standard due to the high demand! Why not allow happy hour in the pool bar also?? 3 - the room AC is a little noisy. 4 - what happened to the fake lake in the beginning of the hillside route? Totally off.. 5 - tiny detail but the room wooden blinds and curtains had some dust. Didn't find dust anywhere else.

Luxury hotel with great service

Best property on Lanta. The views from the rooms and the infinity pools are great. Room amenities are top quality — a Bose speaker, delicious tea, great toiletries (shower gel perfect to organise yourself a bubble bath in the gorgeous bathtub. The restaurant food is excellent (though huge). Service seems a little frazzled, but that must be post-COVID adjustments as the resort was feeling pretty busy.

This place is amazing . The food is incredible. The breakfast is delightful. Dinner is pricey but worth it. But you can find cheaper options down the street or down the beach. We received an upgrade and our villa was fantastic. The only downside was rhe Muay Thai class. It wasn’t very good and wasn’t worth the money. Other than that 5 stars all around.

The most awesome stay I ever had! The service is excellent out from Krabi airport arrival to the day we left via flight. We are covered with complimentary services, relaxing stay, good food, great cocktails, nicest staff service, great spa! I fell in love and intend to make this my yearly spot! Everything is so convenient during the stay. Requests and bookings via app. Staff is well attentive, all of them. Well priced. Private. Honeymooners should enjoy this place! We were here to unwind from busy hectic city working life and we did. Love it. 4 days of stay, none of the day we really want to leave the resort 😂

Good for a couple or small group. Pool villa was very private. We found the actual accommodation better than the photos. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful. The Pimalai app made contacting guests services requesting services very easy and predictable. The gym was fantastic. The resort covers a hillside so you really need to use their transportation to get around the property. We had a great vacation. Thank you!

Fantastic location as beach is beautifully clean and picturesque. Lots of friendly and attentive staff. Breakfast was great quality and lots of choice. There was lots of entertainment (paddle-boards, table tennis etc) all complimentary. Rooms are very good size and decor tastefully done. Very much appreciated staff bringing top ups of water when using sun loungers. Happy hour makes cocktails more reasonably priced and was a great way to watch the amazing sunsets. Few places things could be improved such as more sun loungers near lower pool needed. One evening it was difficult to get staffs attention during happy hour for cocktails. Overall highly recommended!

From the moment you are picked up until the moment you are dropped off, the staff are friendly, helpful and very good at their jobs. The resort is lovely - the beach is truly unspoiled, the views are amazing and the property so picturesque. The breakfasts are amazing and the wait staff so attentive. Beautiful!

All I have to say is wow, and I cannot wait to go back. Thank you Pimalai for a super ridiculously relaxing start to our vacation. Please do not change a thing, it was wonderful. Breakfasts in the super peaceful outdoor restaurant seating with delicious French pastries, eggs any way you want them and ridiculous views. Even had soy milk (!) for those lactose intolerant folks around. Highly highly recommended.

Best in class in terms of service, restaurants, room choices and amenities. Great scuba center on site as well.

Clean and neat grounds. Some construction going on but rarely an issue during our stay. Incredible views of the sunset and ocean!

This is the most incredible place I have ever stayed. The rooms and property are pristine. Staff is always nearby to assist and very friendly. The restaurants are great, as well as the included breakfast. The beach at this resort is also absolute perfection as its one of the best on the island.

I never write reviews but am compelled to do so here. Our stay at Pimalai was nothing short of perfect. This is THE place to stay on Koh Lanta. The grounds are absolutely stunning and climbing up to the top of the property to enjoy the restaurants, the amazing infinity pool and the stunning view over the ocean at sunset were the pinnacles of our stay. The staff was absolutely kind, loving and efficient. KAEW, our breakfast waitress daily, was one of the sweetest people I have ever met. The breakfast buffet and lunch at the restaurant Seven Seas and Banyan Tree were extremely well presented and delicious. The beachfront portion of the resort was also spectacular eventhough we didnt utilize it. The beach itself was idyllic. Resort is stunning, service is impeccable and food is delicious. We ate every breakfast and most of our dinners at their Seven Seas restaurant and we were taken care of by Ying, Kaew and Beem! We were sad to leave the resort and those three because they really made it special. If you are coming to Thailand, treat yourself and book at few nights at the Pimalai. You won’t regret it!!

Had an excellent stay at Pimalai resort. Highly recommend staying here if you want a relaxing vacation. Staff were all amazing and the views were incredible! Thank you for the great experience :) We will be coming back in the future.

Everything about this resort is amazing. It is not the easiest to get to but worth the effort.

Luxurious place. A true wonder. The food is excellent, with a vegan friendly chef. The room is wonderfully decorated. The pool are is fantastic - the best I've ever seen in my visit to Thailand. The location is not so good (far away from anything, and requires a long walk to get to real store/restaurant outside.

Pimalai is indeed a piece of heaven on Earth. The resort is absolutely beautiful (esp. the gardens), the beach is fantastic - almost entirely sandy (also the seabed), the infinity pool in the top part of the resort is stunning. There are so many activities - from water sports to tennis, baseketball to even martial arts and yoga. The resort is peaceful and quiet. There is always place at the pool and beach, never running into other guests. Rooms are very nice, with huge bathtub. SPA is top notch, we enjoyed it a lot. Food is rather good too - especially breakfast. The restaurants are really good (especially Thai) though a bit pricey (Seven Seas). Only the beach restaurant is a bit disappointing (we ordered seafood once and it seemed only partially fresh, but the overall experience was still OK thanks to great deserts). Lastly, the level of service is definitely the best we have experienced anywhere it the world. Overall, truly a 5* resort, would recommend it to everyone and will definitely come back!
