Very nice staff. Old property with not many outlets. Breakfast ends before most people are awake.

Toilet, didn’t feel unless you bumped it. Heater didn’t really heat up the room until the next morning and it was still cold. At least the breakfast was averaging. The TV was good. Two of the three vending machines didn’t work.

My room was clean... the lady at the front desk wasn't overly friendly, but was accommodating. seems like she didn't have much help, and was the only person on site. They had a hot breakfast, which was nice.

Decaf coffee was never made even at breakfast. We never saw anybody to ask either. Basically you get what you pay for and our stay was ok

The breakfast wasn’t refilled at 830 when we got there, ended at 9. The room smelled like a cat. The eyehole in the door was stuffed with toilet paper.

They could install a door bumper so they don't have to keep patching the drywall...looks tacky. One of the windows didn't close completely letting in cold air. Good thing they have heavy drapes on the window. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was ok. Typical free hotel menu. Room was clean and furniture in good condition.

When entering our motel room, there appeared to be a situation in need of a solution. We reported it to the kind woman at the front desk (her name was Cearah – my spelling may be wrong). With a sincere apology, she immediately corrected the situation; and our stay at the motel was wonderful.

Small smelly hot tub, and pool was freezing. Sewer back up. Will not stay again.

Needed a place to stay before the fall 50 and this is like 3 blocks away and across the river. The front desk worker was very nice and she was running the whole place.

A simple hotel very comfortable has pool & hot tub although I didn’t use it. Basic breakfast was quite delicious. Very friendly and helpful staff

The hotel was an average stay. Shower was good. I was 10 minutes off from making the breakfast cut off time and I was grateful to the employee on staff that held it open while I was able to gather some of the breakfast items. We had great dinners in town and entertainment. Overall a good stay.

Everything was good.

I thought the breakfast choices could of been better. There was no english muffins or any bagels to choose from. We stayed for 3 nights and all 3 mornings there was just sausage links and scrambled eggs. Other places i have stayed at offered more choices. Also no one took care of the garbage cans out front and they were full all 3 days.

Our stay was just okay. We only had one towel in our room and two washrags. They had no vacancies left, as it was fall festivals in Door County. The whole building looks very old, and it needs a lot of updates and improvements. The room was dusted and vacuumed! A light above the sink was burnt out. The bathroom door didn't open all the way, which made it hard to "do" your hair in front of the sink. I want to compliment whoever is responsible for decorating! The lobby was really decorated with fall and Halloween decorations! It was really pretty!!! The breakfast had a broken juice machine. There was an apple and an orange juice pitcher to pour from. So they tried! There was only one waffle maker, and the hotel was full. We never had a turn to make/eat waffles, as the line was very long. It is also a very small eating area. We couldn't wait in line to make waffles, as there were no open tables and people were waiting to eat. There was only one lady working in the breakfast area. She was working with a smile, but we all felt bad for her as she was very overworked!

Cleaness

Our room door was missing the chain guard for security. Both the sink and tub were missing the drain plug. The mattress was very hard and lumpy. The heater would not keep running during the night and seemed to be over run by the motel so we couldnt keep a uniform room temperature in the room.

The pool windows were open for 2 days. It made the pool and hot tub uncomfortable , My husband enjoyed the daily breakfast (eggs and sausage ).

Our chain on our door was missing

Our room was very clean and spacious. We had to come back twice to check in as they had a full house the night before. Very kind workers, nice breakfast.

Access to the property on and off of the main highway was a little confusing. Staff and facilities were nice. Would look at staying again if we are up this way.

Good location, comfortable.

Problems checking in. No one answered the phone at the desk. It would be nice to have an elevator for those disabled. Said we would get a receipt in the morning which we did not get. Said it would be emailed and it wasn’t.

The hotel had a dark feel to it. Not welcoming at all... The pool was freezing,many want to swim,but didn't because of the coldness. Not a friendly welcome,had to ring a bell and waited for someone to come. The breakfast was a disaster... Food looked like it was made yesterday,coffee was dark water.. We were celebrating my 60th birthday... Disappointed ☹️

Room was musty, no screen on the window. Convenient parking and access from lot to room.

It served our purposes.

This was not a good stay. The blankets had holes in them. There were crumbs in one of the beds. They looked like salt crumbs. One of the wash clothes had so many holes, it looked like a rag. The pool was closed with a sign that said it was closed because of the weather. Although there was a little rain on the day we checked in, we did not see lightning. How would lightning be a factor in closing an indoor pool? We think that the location is convenient, but the price was way too high for our stay.

Check in was very disappointing. My wife had taken ill in the early afternoon and we needed to get her to a place to lie down. We showed up at the motel at 2:45 p.m. Front desk told me it didn't matter that they could not let us check in until 3:00 p.m. She would just have to wait! What kind of place is that?

The pool wasn't open posted hours. Twice in our three days we had to find someone to unlock it for us. There was no screen on our window, so we had to rely on the AC just for a little fresh air. The breakfast was good and always stocked. Room was clean... but no soap provided.

Rooms are dated, front desk agent wasn’t there when we got there to check in.

The desk clerk was very rude and abrupt…. It was an effort for her to get more towels for the pool. Felt like we were inconveniencing her
