In room 121, the only issue is with the Direct TV and the TV settings; the television had a big issue that the staff could not fix. The badging on the tv would come and go during broadcast on every channel and I personally tried to fix the issue with help from the staff. I think it needs to be reset by the direct tv business so untill that is addressed I wouldn't recommend any patrons to take room 121.

Hotel was FILTHY. Please choose somewhere else to stay. Huge dust build up in fixture right over head of bed, severe stains on window seat cushion and bolster, shower curtain mildew stained, bathroom fixtures hanging off walls, tile in bathroom very grimy, dresser drawer broken, and no coffee maker in room even though website says one is specifically supposed to be in the room. When I brought issues to attention of front desk, there was no appology given, no room change offered, and coffee pots are "in suites only, not in disabled persons rooms". The only thing decent in hotel was the lobby!

There was mold on the top of the shower. No microwave and mini fridge in the room i was staying in. Dogs barking in the hallway.

This is one of the dirtiest hotels we have ever stayed in. There was a leaky shower, TV did not work Bed borders looked as if blood was on them, door were spots of blood smeared on them.

The photos are extremely deceiving in the website… this hotel was extremely dirty, everything was stained, the carpet, anything upholstered. If you book here just know it also serves as some type of long term living facility. Wish other reviews had been more honest. At least it wasn’t expensive but I’d never stay again.

The property itself was sufficient but hotels.com needs capture the up charges for pet friendly properties. I had two dogs. Had I known the price would’ve $40 higher, there were better pet friendly options who don’t up charge per pet.

Literally the dirtiest place I have ever stayed. The room hang been cleaned, hair all over the pillow cases, the room smelled like wet dogs. Trash in the trash can, crumbs in the counter, I won’t even mention the bathroom. When I told the front desk our room hadn’t been cleaned their response was, “oh I’m not surprised”

We found drug detox containers and test strips in our trash can upon entering the room. Carpet was very dirty and stained. Overall room just felt dirty and uncomfortable. Would recommend going somewhere else.

Ive stayed here before. I like its spot and its a good place for me to stay. We had an incident happen in our room in the middle of the night but the guy at the counter was kind enough to get us a new room ASAP. My friend was a little more critical of the rooms flaws.

I stay at this hotel quite frequently on my trips to Anchorage as I live in Soldotna Ak and would recomend giving this hotel try as I have never been woken up one time which is unbelievable as I stay mostly on weekends but believe me after you give it a try but dont tell to many or it will be sold out and I will be looking for one just like this hidden gem!!!!

No bell to notify clerk had to say excuse me loudly because they were watching Star Trek.
Did not realize there were no coffee pots, hair dryers, or fridge in the room until after we checked in. Nor was there coffee available in the lobby other than during breakfast which was minimal, so we ate out. The thermostat was a knob on the baseboard heater. The rooms were fairly clean but need to be updated and things replaced, like the pillows and curtains.
I will make sure that I check more closely for amenities in the future.

The sink in the bathroom was broken and the water was falling all over the floor… the check in wasn’t really nice. But it was just a night not bad.

This place is a dump - drapes torn and not attached to frame, broken cabinet door next to fridge, carpet stained/dirty. It has gone down hill since I last stayed here a year ago. Staff was apologetic, but not helpful or not available. Going to an air bnb next year.

I've been coming to this motel for years. Best motel in Eagle River. The staff is extremely friendly & very accommodating. In addition, the building is very clean & well maintained. It's the only place I would stay when in the Eagle River area.
