Great place to stay!

This place was dumpy, dirty, and run down. The hallways smelled like smoke. My room had water damage in the bathroom, some of the ceiling lights looked like they were going to fall off, and the bed was super uncomfortable. My back hurt in the morning. I had to turn the mini fridge on and it was buzzing and super loud, it was uneven and being levels by a paper cup under one corner. I turned the fridge off and just put my perishables back in my cooler and turned the fridge off. I will never stay here again.

Unfortunately, the property shows its age, though clearly the place has attempted upgrades. The plumbing is very loud (if one of your guests showers early while the other is sleeping in, well, the other won't be sleeping in). The beds and bedding were comfortable and clean, more than ample pillows of varying descriptions so there's like one you'll like, clean towels.
The hot breakfast with multiple options was pretty decent: waffle machine, coffee machine, canned gravy to go with the sausages, biscuits and fluffy insta-eggs, three kinds of cold cereal, toast, PB&J, apples... The place would be well served in heating its gravy before plopping it in the serving dish cold - what a bummer for the guest who didn't realize it then had no way to heat it as there's no microwave out there.
Our refrigerator was unplugged when we arrived. We learned why when we plugged it in. It stank of mildew and was very loud, probably kept some previous guests awake.
On top of that, take heed: the place is not ADA accessible. We requested a downstairs room after one in our party was injured days before our arrival. She had a very difficult time managing stairs to our room. They had no downstairs available (wouldn't transfer us to a downstairs room) and have no elevator.
The on-site manager throughout our stay must live in the foyer. He was friendly and hard-working, clearly caring about guests and the place.

When I arrived there was no one available to check me in.
There was a man in the lobby who told me that the desk clerk would be back shortly. Upon checking in, I was informed that the dog policy was not what was represented on Expedia. It was double per pet and now charged per night meaning I would have to pay $200 for 2 under 8-pound dogs to stay in my room with me. I ended up paying $100 for my dogs for 4 nights. On previous stays to this hotel, I paid $50 for the entire stay for both dogs.
There is no elevator in the hotel. I was booked on the second floor and had to carry my luggage and dogs up the stairs to the room.
The room was not clean. There was dust on every surface and the bed linens had black hairs when I pulled down the blankets. The bathroom was not clean. There were black hairs in the tub and sink.
The pet area behind the hotel was full of weeds and dog feces. I picked up my dog's poop but was disgusted at the condition of the unmaintained area.
The breakfast provided was great. That is the only nice thing that I had to say about this property.

There were no washrags or small towels. Breakfast was fine. The price was excellent. Anytine we have to travel from CA to Idaho we will stay therr. Thanks.

I did not end up staying there. The 1st room had someone’s pizza box in it. They gave me a new room,the sheets had some crumbs. By then I was grossed out and checked out. The customer service was not that great. I waited 48 minutes in The lobby to see about a refund and ended up leaving with some guys number and a name. I reserved another room at the same place for my daughter and her friends. We ended up down the street in a clean hotel. How can I recover my money?

I did not stay. It was filthy. There was a pizza box in The room. The new one had a filthy fridge. I was grossed out and did not want to stay. Waiting to hear about a refund.

I liked the room, as the floor was wood-look laminate and the bathroom was ceramic tile and all was clean. The bed was comfortable and the microwave and mini fridge made choices for meals easier. The front desk was helpful yet not intrusive ( I don’t know why, but some hotel staff act like they have to know everything about me and my stay.) I will stay here again and this stay of four nights was very pleasant and comfortable. Also very affordable. Great job Quality Inn!

Súper nice check in person…very friendly. Room was not entirely clean….bucket in hallway catching water from leaky ceiling. Trash in front parking littering the area. We brought our dog which was an extra $20 fee. But the pet relief area was dismal with dog poop everywhere as there were no provided bags.
Very disappointing!

I've stayed here 8 times in the past 10 years. Always good for the money, dog friendly, and good enough breakfast. Great place to stay on road trips.

Nice stay overall. The employee doing checkin was a little unprofessional (dressed unprofessionally and making strange, slightly inappropriate comments), but it didn’t make the stay bad. Easy to access from the interstate and a good value.

Check in was really slow and the smoke detectors chirped all night I ended up trying to sleep in my truck.

Not so good. Check in was okay. Room was ok but I have stayed in better. Guess you get what you pay for. Was woken up at 5:00 am with people in the hallway vacuuming the floor and talking loud. So we were awake. so we got dressed and left the hotel at 5:30am. So don’t think we will be staying there again.

The night there was a disaster of comic proportions.
The toilet flooded our room.
The night manager blamed us for putting toilet tissue down the toilet and blocking it. Unaware of the fact that I know a lot about plumbing, and we had not blocked their faulty toilet.
If the toilet had been blocked it would not have caused the cistern to freeflow for 10 minutes and flooded the room.
These things happen, but the staff response was deplorable. We were given keys to a new room, but there was no interest in our plight.
So, we repacked did our best to dry out all the clothes, footwear and luggage that had been soaked, in the second room.
When we questioned the manager in the morning via his translator, (apparently, he does not speak English) we were informed that there was no chance of a refund as it was all our fault.
We will be taking that up with Expedia when we get back to the UK

Well...I prepaid for the stay. I now have three additional pending charges. They had my last name and other personal information correct, except the first name was not even close. I reserved a room with two queen beds, and I was assigned a room with a single queen bed. This did get fixed but my friend had to wait with our luggage while I worked with the desk attendant. No elevator. The toilet seat was loose and we could not tighten it. I informed them of this and he responded that management is coming next month to replace all that. It is likely that a heavy person could easily cause it to break. We had to be very careful ourselves. Nice hotel, not so great administration. Hopefully, the charges will resolve without too much effort on my part.

The room was very clean and beds were cozy. Cleanliness is super important to me! The overall property was neat and clean as well.

Not at all what was advertised. Front desk guy was very grumpy like I was bothering him at check in. Curtains in room hanging off the rod. Small fridge very loud. Had to turn it off to stop the noise. Just a dirty property snd not kept up. Shower head one solid stream of shooting water, no spray or other settings that worked. Very disappointing

Couldn’t understand staff, walk into lobby and smells completely of smoke. Won’t stay here again. Woke up at 4 from noise and left without waiting for breakfast.

The hotel has the same address zip code (included) as another property 7 miles away from the actual property. My GPS took me to the wrong property at first so make sure you get off at the exit that says Elko. The room is ok for comfort but it can use some improvement on the cleaning. All night somebody was running up and down the stairs and I had the room right next to the stairs so I heard every footstep even with the air conditioner on. The remote was dirty where I needed to wash my hands every time I touched it finally I just turned off the TV and watch movies on my phone. If you are looking for a place where the staff doesn't disturb you this is the place for you. I was here for business and away from the room for most of the daytime. I stayed 5 nights. I will stay here again because this is the above average compared to the other hotels I have stayed in Elko.
