If you LOVE the sound of trains passing, then this is the hotel for you. And I'm being sarcastic, of course. Man, you can hear the trains. Parking is difficult if you have a larger truck or hauling a trailer. Staff? The television remote in our room wasn't working, so I went to the front desk for help. "How do you turn the television on?" I asked. The woman at the front desk said, "Hit "On."" "Oh, okay," I said, thinking "Wow, what a b***h." No, the television STILL won't work, so the woman at the front desk came to the room to see for herself. Then "maintenance" comes in. "Nope. Doesn't work." So, we have to change to the room next door all for a working television. Floors aren't even. The peel-n'-stick flooring is coming up at the ends of some pieces. And while moving out belongings from one room to the other, I dropped a glass bottle of cold tea, SHATTERING on the cement walkway. The front desk person went to the maintenance room and handed ME the broom and dust bin to clean it up! She said, "Get all the glass up. Someone could get hurt." I said, "If we didn't have to move to ANOTHER room (without an apology from her for the inconvenience, by the way), this wouldn't have happened!" "Well," she responded, "You didn't have to move so fast!" Meaning that it's my fault that I was angry at having to MOVE to another room, and in doing so, moving and doing it "so fast," I wouldn't have dropped the glass bottle.
"Pet friendly"? A large cat box behind the hotel.

The room was comfortable and the only problem was that there were trains going by all night. That is not the hotel's problem but the location. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly.

The front desk person, Armando, was wonderful! He was full of helpful suggestions, reccomendations for dining and sights ti see or to avoid. He made our stay thoroughly enjoyable. 😉

Clerk wasnt friendly at all and acted like she was being put out working there. Very abrupt. Room was clean but didnt really care for the area the hotel was in.

Our stay was Good until later in the evening. the next door couple were having a party and there was lots of yelling and door slamming. We did try to call the front but no one was answering. We felt very unsafe.

I like that when a customer was disturbing the peace after hours and yelled a racial slur, suggesting that the hotel should hire more white people, apparently to do a better job than the service he recieved from someone of a different race, one of the staff addressed him in the morning amd told him that the he was no longer allowed to stay at the hotel for the night.

The train goes right by the rooms. If that bugs you. Was no big deal for me as i grew up by the tracks and it put me right to sleep. Other than that its a good place to stay for the night while passing thru.

It was an average place to stay for one night, everyone was friendly and the price was right. Shower curtain needs a cleaning!

Was an alright stay older place not super clean but not bad to just sleep in vending machine candy was old and plan to eat out for breakfast continental had nothing hot except coffee mostly packaged things all in all to sleep n keep your stuff it’s an alright place to stay they did accommodate my wanting to be on ground level which was nice everyone was very nice as well

The hotel staff were wonderful! Very hospitable! Check in was a breeze, and received dog friendly dinner recommendations. Dog area is a nice plus. Morning guy was superb. He talked with guests, made everyone feel welcome, and even gave my dog a treat. Felt right at home here, and would gladly stay again!

I believe the rooms are newly remodeled and they felt fresh and clean. They are pet friendly and had a nice and dog area. They do charge $20 pet pet which is a bit much, but the room rate was good.

If you bring a pet, it’s $20 per animal. I only found out when got there. It’s in the fine prints. Other hotels don’t charge a pet fee so don’t come here. The hotel is definitely rundown. Giving 70’s motel vibes. Drive an extra 5 miles and you’ll find nicer places. If you can afford an extra $30, go else where, you’ll thank me later. I’ve been to many many hotels and this was the first time where I didn’t shower because the whole place was giving me the ick.

Although this motel is outside of the "old town" area of Flagstaff (but not by much), and although there are train tracks across the street, we really enjoyed the cleanliness of the rooms and the property. There was a well-defined and centralized patio, a separate little BBQ area, and a clean doggie "rest area." The room had all of the amenities we needed and was a very short walk to a great mexican restaurant, Tapatio and across the street from a nice bike/walking path. Dutch Bros. coffee was also a pleasant walk or short drive away, as was Texas Roadhouse, Tractor Supply and Sportsman's!
