We go to puket once a year and can say this resort location is great just 2min drive to main street or 10min walk.Just outside hassle of main town in Patong. Nice sea breeze quiet. Top service and would definitely stay there again.

Nice pool nice rooms good food

Definitely not a 5 star hotel. No hot water. Breakfast is stale. Service is terrible. My son and i waited 45 minutes outside the room for hot water.

location was fantastic and room cleanness was the worst no one clean the room on daily basis and even after tell to the reception no one take any actions. Quite disappointed with that particular part. Too many mosquitoes in the room and keep requesting to the staff that please spray in regular bases but staff doesn't care about that. Food quality was good but customer service was very poor as after order you have to keep remind them about the order as it took so long time to get the food in the plate. This was the worst hotel experience of my life. The entire staff were student trainees who didnt speak english. Shuttle service was slow.

Great daily breakfast buffets & clean rooms!

We stayed at Diamond Cliff for a week and it was perfect- the expansive grounds and facilities are beautiful and we had everything we needed and more- the gym, the two main pool areas and restaurants are excellent, and the staff service was exceptional. We were handy enough to the main streets of Patong, but could step away from the busyness each day and relax at the resort when needed. Highly highly recommend!

Nice resort on a cliff. The location is a bit far from Patong beach but we already knew it when we booked. Clean, comfortable large room with an amazing sea view fit for the family. The biggest improvement is the TV channels. Please add a kids channel for the children. Thank you.

Nice place to stay but no upgrade. Otherwise an enjoyable break away. Breakfast options were good. Room service good. Mini bar selection good.

Great hospitality and good family hotel

Lovely place to stay. Lots of stairs given it’s location but this is helped by hotel internal shuttle. Walking distance to the main area of Patong. Restaurants and bar’s overpriced when there are so many cheaper options around.

Recommend! Grateful for the upgraded room. Love it!! Everything inside the room is amazing!! Bed is very comfortable too. Balcony is good, if it's sea view, it would be wonderful. Too far from the beach. It is a 2-min walk to Kalim Beach and a 5-min walk Patong Beach. Housekeepers and restaurant staff are very friendly. Front desk personnel so-so, could be more amiable and trained to provide check-in guests with a more essential information. Not too efficient for check-in process. The resort is not too suitable for elderly people, and those who don't enjoy too much walking.The premise is not only huge but filled with undulating slopes and stairs, and it is not easily accessible from one place to another esp. during rainy days.

2nd year at this hotel and had a great time. Loved both pools and breakfast is great. Loved the space and location of the the diamond suite.

We stayed 2 weeks at this hotel: Location - about 15 min all from the main area , paying beach and restaurants. It’s very quiet but it’s got lots of stairs. They do provide a car to pick you and drop you close to the room but stil there are a few stairs left. The hotel it’s up the hill and view is stunning We have breakfast included : various options including soup and Thai food and many many fruits every day. There are 2 restaurants in the resort : ocean view and kiko(Japanese restaurant), the Japanese one was very bad, I had a stomachache after eating there. The staff was very nice and helpful even though they don’t speak much English, they were trying their best to help. The rooms were big and clean. Every day the towels and bed sheets were changed and 2 free bottles of water.

As our first experience in Phuket, we wanted to try three resorts offering luxury villas or suites: The Shore, Paresa, and Diamond Cliff. The Shore has about 90 suites, Paresa, 46, and Diamond Cliff, 8 (but also 500 rooms). Diamond Cliff was good but was a disappointment compared to the other resorts. To be fair, Diamond Cliff is a 5-star hotel rated highly by guests, but in this review, we are comparing our stay in the Diamond Cliff villas to the other resorts. Be sure to read my reviews of the other resorts. Upon arrival, we were checked into villa 6707. The check-in process was at first ordinary, in other words, we did not get the exclusive treatment we received in the other resorts. This was corrected when the villa manager, Chula, was alerted to our arrival. We did not like it because it did not offer total privacy, which was one of our criteria for choosing the three resorts in Phuket. We spent the night in the villa but told Hcula of our dissatisfaction. He accommodated and moved us to a more private villa (6705). He said Villa 6704 offers the most privacy, but we found 6705 good. The villas were immaculate, spacious, well decorated, and had excellent layouts and amenities. The property is a little worn, including the villas, but not to any degree that detracted from our enjoyment. Here, I must say that Chula ensured we were satisfied and arranged breakfast in our room during the entire four-night stay. He deserves this mention, and I hope management notices.

Great location very friendly staff

We were upgraded to a gorgeous ocean view room. The room was spacious and amenities were nice. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. It was really nice to be able to walk to Patong Beach in about 10 minutes. We enjoyed our stay here, it is a beautiful property.

Gorgeous place to stay in. If you get the breakfast package is even better. They have a variety of options to offer the guest, and the staff is extremely professional, friendly and welcoming. Coming back for a third time

Several issues due to age of hotel. No USB charging points. Air conditioning poor standard. Thermostat not working. Staff very friendly. Breakfast buffet and dinner quality is definitely not 5star

Customer service was horrible and when you try to speak to someone, the conversation goes in circles and goes nowhere. Asked what restaurants on the premises were open and was told only 1 and the bar at the pool was only one open. That bar was closed for a private party and the sushi restaurant was actually open! Room had a mold issue in the shower and probably through the air conditioning. I could go on…..

Great location

The stay was fantastic. We came for the last week of our honeymoon and it was beautiful. Had an ocean view with sunsets over the ocean. Breakfast buffet was delicious. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Facilities were clean. Top notch experience

Its a nice hotel, from the beach you need to talk around 20 mins or take a Taxi, huge hotel area, good breakfast, friendly staff

The service of this hotel is very good and impressive , we went for a family vacation and it is really a very pleasant stay and overall experience is very good.
