Bare bones and a bit shabby, this older motel is very reasonable for a place to sleep. It has the essentials, and the room was very quiet. The mattress was very comfortable, firm but not hard, bedding was clean and cozy. Towels were thin, if you care about those kind of things, but freshly laundered. Worst part was trying to get the shampoo packet open. I had to use my teeth. Everything else was just fine for what this place is.

Exactly what I was looking for! The price was right, and the accommodations were more than I was expecting! I will stay here again if I have an early morning airline flight, as it is better than driving from home in the dark for 2 hours and chancing a flat tire and missing my flight! The owner was very friendly and I felt safe as a single traveler staying there.

For a trip back in the 60's this is the place. The furniture is worn and the bed is hard. There was a smell of mustiness or carpet shampoo. Overall, the room, linen and towels where excellent.

This is an older property, although it was very clean. The owner is super nice. The bed was to hard for our liking and the pillows were not big enough, but for the price, I'm not unhappy.

I stayed here twice within the past month: once with my son, and a few weeks later with my family. Nice clean place; great staff; excellent if you're on a budget and need a place to sleep. More than enough parking, and it's in a well lit area. Considering the prices of neighboring hotels and motels in the area, I'd recommend it. We'll likely come back next time we're in the area.

This place was fine for spending a night on a long drive but the carpet did smell musty and I am sensitive to such smells. There was no bathroom fan and the window would not open. I slept with the door open.

Ownership was great; they treated us with professionalism, integrity, and attention to our needs. The owners take a lot of pride in the motor inn and appear to be in the process of modernizing it.

Only thing I did not like is that the refrigerator was unplugged upon arrival. I was overcharged by 9 dollars but the owner fixed it and I do appreciate the honesty as it would have been something I would have overlooked and not known about.

Nice clean, quiet, relaxing motel. All staffencoyntered were warm and very accomodating and seemed as if they truly wanted us to enjoy our stay. Would DEFINATELY stay here in the future. Highly recommend!

The room was very nice and clean. The bed was like a rock. Couldnt adjust the water temperature in the shower it was either in or off

Owner was very friendly and offered a restaurant suggestion. Room was clean and warm. Shower had very hot water available which was nice after a day ice fishing. Can’t really go wrong for the price

I recommend that anyone comes to this area stay at the budget host hotel BJ is a great host. The room was very clean. Heat is great all the amenities work as they should. I give it 10 out of 10 stars.

I’m not going to lie, could it be updated? Absolutely. Was it bad? Absolutely not. No frills which was fine for this trip. The whole building could use some major overhauls but it was shockingly clean. The woman who checked me in was extremely pleasant. The walls were this but guests on both sides of my room were quiet. There was some hair on the back of the bathroom door and a couple of ants in the room but honestly it was not bad at all.
