The room smelled absolutely horrible, the bath tub is full of black mold and the bathroom ceiling is all moldy , you smell the incredible smell of mold as soon as you walk in the room, very toxic climate,, we couldn’t wait to leave after 4 nights. Reception is not friendly at all, the only good thing about this hotel is the location. Breakfast is definitely not worth the money unless it is free . I would not recommend this hotel at all.

The Rembrandt is a good clean Hotel. It is just the right distance from the Messina about a 15-minute walk. The only problem was the work being carried out on the upper floors there was banging and knocking of floors or concrete. It did not last until the evenings. If I return to tanjir I would definitely stop here.

It was a nice hotel and my room had a tiny balcony facing the sea, which was nice. There was a restaurant with very good food! Live music at night coming from somewhere, which I could hear in my room, but it was very good. The air conditioning would only go to a certain temperature though and it got stuffy at times. The bed was a little too hard for my liking and I like firm mattresses. My biggest complaint is that while they let me keep my belongings there after check out until my late flight- they never put it in a closed room! It was still behind their desk where they set it 11 hours earlier, including my insulin that they promised to refrigerate for me. That was very disappointing.

Very nostalgic hotel from the international zone era. Extremely friendly, helpful, courteous staff. Very good bargains on Moroccan souvenirs and gifts a couple of doors down the street. Taxis standing by most of the day for easy access to train and bus station or airport. Very close to traditional Moroccan cuisine as well as McDonalds and several traditional cafes.

This is by far the LOUDEST hotel I've ever been to on three continents. It feels as if you're sleeping inside a disco, and it goes on unti l at least 2 AM. Every single night. I've bought expensive ear plugs and it went right through. Also, the room doesn't have a safe. There is mold in the bath tub. The shower doesn't work half of the time (you have to twist and turn the hose, which is broken off). The holder for the shower head was broken off, so you had to hold it all the time. The room door doesn't close properly from the outside, so you have to slam it really hard to close it. Which means you get woken up in the morning too. The toilet is placed akwardly behind the bathroom door. There are only two power outlets in the whole room, and they're in the middle of the bed. And they fall out of the wall each time you unplug something. The bed lights are ugly, cold lighting. The breakfast room is behind large windows. Actually a really pretty view. But it gets steaming hot. So you're already sweating at breakfast. Is there anything good about this hotel? Yes: the beds and pillows are comfortable. The air-con is powerful and you won't hear it at night BECAUSE YOU SLEEP IN A DISCO.

Very good service there and there is a pool and bar where you can chill

Perfectly situated and comfortable enough for the cost of the stay which is why I repeat but staff supercede the typical poor Moroccan service found everywhere. And they'll argue back! But the location is worth it most of the time!

Very active hotel which appeared disorganised at check in. Room spacious for a 4 night stay, well lit with adequate storage and serviced daily. Bathroom big but the shower drainage slow and the water pooled which was unsafe for 2 senior travellers. Dined in on the first night and the meal superb with pleasant views. The atmosphere was splendid so expectations were high for breakfast the next morning. Alas it was a disappointment. Tour groups crowded the dining room, food was cold and not replenished in a timely manor and tables half set. Not worth the price.
Hotel close to city attractions and concierge very helpful.

Overall, I'm pleased with our stay.
Pros: Convenient location. Clean room and no carpets (which I prefer). Good room options for families. Nice, clean pool. Wifi connection was generally good. Good price.
Cons: Check-in was a little chaotic and slow. No sheer curtains in the room which was street facing. No shower cap in the bathroom. Asked for pool towels and didn’t receive them, but the next day took a room towel and then we were given a pool towel. Poolside lounge got a little noisy with the music on a Thursday night. Breakfast buffet wasn’t value for money though we found a nice restaurant steps away that offered good a-la-carte options. Room security could be improved with inside deadbolt for the door and a peephole.

We loved the location, it was close to the train station, a great distance from the medina and kasbah side as well as being close to the beach and tons of restaurants. The room was massive and our view was fantastic. The check in process was very quick and we were settled in no time. The only problem was that they were doing quite extensive renovations during our stay, and while it didnt affect us at night or early mornings at all, it was a little noisy during the day when we decided to relax by the pool. However that didnt dampen our stay at all. On check out the receptionists didnt seem interested at all, so that left us a little sour after what was a great stay. That all being said we would most likely stay there again.

Construction noise was horrible all day. Rooms were clean but the property was not what I expected. Price was reasonable but with the noise going on for a couple of days, I wasn’t a happy camper. I will only recommend for the location and price.

I traveled to Tangier for a family event. I am so pleased with my stay at the hotel. Everyone was so kind and helpful. I was especially happy with the care of the security guard Rafik at the hotel who always greeted me and made sure I was taken care of and safe. Rafik helped to make sure my stay was wonderful and went out of his way to show Moroccan hospitality.

We like the security in place, friendliness of all staff/servers and cleaning in every area of the hotel. Also, entertainments with music by the pool area. Location is easy for shopping. We enjoyed it. Thank you for your great service.

This was our 2nd stop on our honeymoon trip through Morocco. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and very helpful and it is VERY conveniently located. We later found out that it is also a historical neighborhood (where Gaudí drafted La Sagrada Familia). It’s super close tot he Medina, the waterfront and downtown. You can see Spain from the balcony, there is a bar and restaurant open most nights and a nightclub on the weekends (though you cannot hear it from the room). We really enjoyed our stay and Tangier!

Very central location. Good and clean room. Wifi was sporadic. No iron in the room. Service was ok. Had better service from Air BnB hosts at other Morroccon cities.
