Chirping from a smoke detector all night and construction started in the room next to me first thing in the morning. I have stayed here almost every week for a few months and never experienced this.

Need to replace brown cabinet in room. Toilet seat needs to be tied down. Bedspread has to be replaced with one with no holes in it. The room smells like smoke.

The staff was great and the room itself wasn’t bad at all. Except the heater was very very old and didn’t really work. But the outside the problem. There a front and back to this place one long single story motel. Front is ok but the speedbymbs will mess your car up should put better ones in .the back tho is long row of bushes and all inside are numbs just living there.and nobody cares . Overall ok place to stay. But lock your car and don’t leave your room unlocked

Some units need maintenance (Shower, Toilet).

This property is nothing like advertised. It is run down dirty and falling apart. The area of town is less than desirable. I am suprised Expedia lists this property

The community of people in the area are very friendly, it was safe and a quiet place to sleep. Local food spots were close by and areas we visited where only 30mins away. Perfect place for our small family to stay.

Was a nice quiet place for the night

We used the room for the groom and his groomsmen to get ready for a wedding. The location of the wedding was the fairgrounds and this motel was perfect (across the street). It is an older motel, but was clean.

Noisy. Second rate motel with extremely cheap furniture, amenities.

There was garbage and old furniture just sitting in the parking lot for everyone to see and it looked like it had been there for a while and water drips got on the floor from the shower and when I wiped it up the towel got gross from the dirty floor.

Run down! Paid $179 ($20 extra dog ). Got the mini suite? 2 queen beds..that was all. Smelly frig, phone didn’t work.
My pup had a small round blue pill in her mouth..glad I saw it immediately! No telling what it was! No hair dryer. Stale pastries.
Lotsa homeless and drugs all around. Looked like most live there on the premises…

The room has no available outlets except one in the bathroom which will not hold a plug, the plug just falls out.
The shower head is on a hose and there is no holder for it to be on the wall.
The sheet had cigarette burn holes in it, no mattress cover underneath.
The air conditioner was a mess, had to fiddle with it several times to get it to work, then turn it back on again and again.
Bugs in the bathroom, no counter at all.
Front toor had light shining through the sides and bottom, was really hard to open and the lock was finicky.
Window shades did not give privacy, you could see out and see in.
The hotel is pretty rundown, hate to give negative feedback but it’s accurate.

Nice and cozy, comfortable, very quiet, some minor issues but it got resolve immediately. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Melissa was AWESOME 👍. Clyde to main attractions, shopping and dining.

2 refrigerators in room and only 1 worked. Phone wasnt plugged in but wires everywhere. View from bathroom window was a junk yard. Bathroom door shimmed oddly and didnt fit door jam, and door was stained badly. Big holes in wall. Graffiti on ground near front door. Plugs didnt work. Exposed fuses from open sub panel. Ice cream left in fridge from previous guest. Looks to be a place for illegal activity based on guys on bicycles going in and out of property. Staff was friendly, cable TV was great, and bed was comfortable. Not recommended.

Homeless, people hanging out on property, smoke alarm beeped constantly, lots of garbage and abandon vehicles on backside of property. When 1st drove up property looked cute, went around back and was disappointed.

Good AC but difficult to reach AC unit. Room # 40. Faucet wouldn’t turn off easily. No hot water in sink. Cigarette burns in the sheets. Vagabond camping out In parking area with 3 barking dogs that terrified my dog. She was an awful nuisance but clearly having problems. Way overpriced given poor condition of rooms. Won’t stay there again.

Extremely dirtry, a lot of people just standing outside doing drugs. Once I drive to my room a few strangers followed me to my room. I decided to cancel and a couple that was standing in the front started using profanity and tried to pick a fight for no reason

Nice, helpful staff. Bed was uncomfortable. Lots of transient people hanging around.

The bathroom floor, walls and shower looked really dirty. Wall A/C covered in dust. So hot in room but didn’t turn it on. No screens on windows so didn’t open or bugs get in. Unpleasant stay. Left early. Showed and wash all my clothes when I got home. Felt dirty.

The bed was comfy and the sheets were nice, the staff friendly. That’s all that was good.

The staff was friendly. And that was about it for the good. The internet is horrible, the clear coat on the floor was peeling up everywhere and ended all of my things. Just everywhere really, a bunch of Druggies hanging out and being loud during the early AM hours.(12-3) people fighting outside. If you’re out there Methin around. It may be the spot for you. But I would never stay there with my family.

Great ppl n great service.

Was warm and comfortable. However, I am tired of hotels not cleaning rooms on a regular basis. After working hard all day and into the evening it was a hassle to go and ask for clean towels. The office was not open in the morning early enough to make the exchange before heading out to work. I really it would have been nice to have cleaners come in while we are at work to do all this rather than expecting their customers to be unpaid labor.

The room smell was overwhelming when we opened the door. It smelled like cigarette smoke. We asked for another room and that one was even worse. We opened all the windows. The bed and pillows smelled of smoke. It was awful. We did not sleep well. The bathroom sink was kind of clean.

The check-in person was not experienced and did not know how to check us in. And then they ended up keeping our deposit as we had put the deposit in cash so they ended up keeping all the deposit would not recommend this for anyone at all. Wanted to speak to the manager, but there was no manager on duty at 11 AM..

I would not recommend Sonora. Gold Lodge to anyone. There was open drug use. The street facing side was well kept. The back was filled with trash and riff raff.

Hotel is not what was advertised, very run down, bathroom was very small, shower was complicated and small, lack of room amenities, no central air, swamp cooler, staff and locals were very friendly

Rude staff not friendly to the customers, even the pastries in the morning has molds I even show it to the employee

The residence quaint and quiet. It was an older building, the tub/shower reminded me of the we had growing up in the 1950's in sSouthern Calif.
