Serious issues with housekeeping and room services. All the issues were reported and acknowledged by the hotel manager. Hotel manager could not help much as the booking was done through hotel.com website. The comission of hotel.com on this booking was more than INR10,000.00
The room assigned was not prepared for 3 guest. Missing towel toiletries. When we ebtered the room it was tardy with extrly dirty lamp shades and the bathroom window blind had fungus on it
The bed sheets, pillow and comforter cover were over used and torn. Broken pillows and stained mattresses.
The shower was broken that was fixed after we complained. There was a need of consant chasing of the housekeeping for providing toiletries and towel - as the room cleaning service doing proper job.
Overall the stay was a nightmare, as the room beside us was being renovated and there was noise of drilling during the day time.
The only positive of this property was the sea view...and quietness as it is a remote location.
I request hotels.com to kindly look into this matter urgently as obviously i have overpaid for this horrible stay.
Kindly note the hotel manager also informed the senior management about these issue and i had met the guy heading room service and shared all my complaints/concerns directly with him. - Room number was 731 or 713....

Excellent location for Puri and the close by beaches. Our room had a partial view of the sea.
The staff are excellent and went beyond means to make us feel comfortable !
The restaurant food is North Indian and good. We are there almost everyday. Restaurant staff too are polite.
Just a note I want to mention: A bath May would have helped in the bathroom as senior people find it hard to get out of the shower with wet feet and could be dangerous.
Also, we were 3 adults in one room and the resort charges for the extra adult to be in the room, however the amenities are not of 3 people. There are only 2 cups and tea/coffee sachets are only two. Bottled water is two bottles so perhaps this can be accommodated for 3 people.

We did booking for 3 rooms and we reached the hotel at 10.45 am. First room we got at 11.30 am and the other two rooms after 12.30 pm.

I will not stay here again. Washroom was so sticky and wet. The room is 0 star. I don’t understand why Travelocity rated this as a 4 star, did someone get paid under the table? I paid for 4 star hotel but got a cheap one. The exterior of the hotel looks good, but that’s about it. I will not recommend this hotel to any foreigners, it’s only a good fit for a local person.

Nice stay after uncertainties - The stay was very nice but not till the hotel called up 12 hrs before the stay period. The numbers available with expedia as well as in the hotel website are outdated ones and are not functional. There was no way out to confirm on the road directions, vehicle pickup or notify the hotel on tentative arrival time, etc..

Property was just not what was advertised on their website. It is very run down with leaky roofs/ceilings, broken door handles and safety locks. Major issue was Air Conditioning. There was no Air Conditioning on both the rooms booked including no AC in major parts of the property. Front desk is of no help! The best part of the property is the dining service, their staff is very cordial and excellent at their job. No proper road to the property as well as no beach access even though the property is beach front. In all, it was not worth the money we paid for!!!

The hotel excels with its service and immaculate behavior of its people. We stayed there for 6 days and enjoyed our stay. The property is one of a kind with a lagoon and the sea beach after a beautifully maintained garden. The food was good and the chef took special care of us. We had dinner specially prepared for us with local ethnic Odiya cusine. The GM of the hotel is a friendly person and takes personal care. The only problem is the road connectivity.The place remains at a desolate area away from the city.In a saline weather, maintaining the huge property is difficult and wall paints got damped and peeled off at certain points. Power cut is frequent.But at the end of the day we remember the positives only.Lovely people all around greeting in folded hands!

We had a very bad experience at Chariot. At the time of check In, the staff allotted us room which was highly damp, full of stains and stinky.
after lot of Drama, the room was changed and again, the airconditioning of the room was not functioming. My child had already slept.
Finally, we were given a third room @ 12 midnight which was decent enough to stay there for 2 nights.
The hotel is well built but it seems that it is a haunted house now....no maintenance at all.
I would not recommend this hotel as it is highly overpriced as per its standards.

Hotel is good but located in totally outside main road.. If you have own conveyance i will recommend this otherwise you have to depend on hotel shuttle service. We had buffet in lunch it was ok except pineapple which was spoit by a sour curd, breakfast was good. We have booked normal room but they have upgraded us to platinum suite at same charge.

We had a great experience during our recent stay at the Chariott Inn. The room was clean and spacious. The staff enquired after our arrival if the room was up to our satisfaction. Staff was extremely friendly and willing to please. Whenever we asked for anything the staff responded promptly. Room service was also great. The food in the restaurant was awesome. The beach adjoining the hotel was pleasant and very clean. The hotel management also helped us tremendously with our tours and travels. And last but not least even after we checked out, they offered us a room to relax till it was time for our departure. I reccomend this hotel to everyone without any hesitation.

saty was ok but it is far off from main place and when ever you wish to move out you have to pay. even when we were picked up from station we had to pay for it it sounds bad you are charging GUEST WHO WANTS TO STAY WITH YOU??????????? IT IS NOT FAIR, REST OF THE THINGS WERE FINE

stay at this price was really worth.complementry breakfast was very good.swimming pool should open upto 9pm instead of 6pm.they shoud provide 2 chairs in balcony.
