Small independent hotel in Grand Lake. We stayed on New Year’s Eve so we could see the fireworks on the lake. It is not fancy but clean and no contact check in ( our code for the room and lobby was texted and emailed to us).
The bed was not very comfortable but okay. Very close to the lake and restaurants (walking distance). Only a couple miles outside the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park

The microwave was dirty. The front door was insulated poorly. The bed was close to the front door and could feel the cold air coming through tdoor.

One of two criticisms is in regards to the bedside lamp. It must have a short in the cord somewhere because it is temperamental. The internet connection was weak and therefore, slow.

My room was very clean. Location is good for walking Main street Grand Lake. Property is older, so furnishings were older as well. Quaint! Still tasteful. No frills, good place to stay.

Clean, but the bed was old and sunk in the middle. This is an older place that has been remodeled. Shower was tiny, tiny, tiny!

Classic mid-century motel kept clean and functional and checks all my critical boxes: clean, fine bed, excellent location, great shower pressure and flow, good value. If you're looking for more modern and finer things, you should go elsewhere (and more expensive).

Local town was fun to walk about. Village park on the lake was a visual feast of waterfront activity. Great spot for a swim on a hot day.

This is our second time at Grand Lake at the same lodge…. It was perfect! Perfect place, perfect location and the owners of the lodge were wonderful! We will come back and stay here again ❤️

The rooms are good in size but the bathroom is small and bath tub and toilets are old. The mattresses are old and worn out. There are three small glass inserts in the room door through which light pours in to brighten the room till the outside lights are turned off at around midnight. No breakfast is included or provided on the site. The property is listed for sale and may be the new owners will update the rooms.

Friendly and easy check-in. Convenient walking location on main street. Room was clean and comfortable with sufficient amenities. Price was reasonable. Stayed one night and definitely will consider Lone Eagle on my next visit.

Was a wonderful place to stay right in town. The owner was SO nice. Our room was very clean. Only issues were the refrigerator didnt work and the beds were SO uncomfortable, but i would stay here again. :)

It was quiet, simple, had an in-room swamp cooler and the owners were very nice. Wish they had a microwave available after 8pm though.
