Easy highway and restaurant access. Very friendly staff. Good hot breakfast. Quiet with no semis.

Very clean and modern as expected at HIE. The only ding is the shower was super low pressure and the adjustable head was either small intense stream or ineffective mist. If we had stayed longer than one night I would have asked for help. Still a very comfy stop.

We paid extra for a room with additional floor space for our 5 month old baby, little did we know that room would share a wall with the pool that's open from 7am to 10pm, and yes, people were in there screaming from open until close. Couldn't switch rooms because the hotel was sold out, we will probably opt to stay at a different hotel in the future as this is the only one we've ever seen with a room sharing a wall with the pool. Better to avoid the hotel than run into that issue again.

Everything was fine. I don't understand not offering decaf coffee as an option for breakfast in the dining room. Some people have a sensitivity to caffeine or want to switch to decaf after a couple of leaded mugs.

The bed was so hard as to be painful. Had two nights booked. Was able to cancel the next night but did not get a refund. Will not use Expedia or Holiday Inn Express in the future.

We stayed in a king room on 3rd floor. The bed in this hotel was probably the worst bed I’ve ever slept in. The place is very nice and staff was great but beds awful.

We ended up staying due to blizzard conditions on our route home. Us and our 16 month old. It was comfortable enough for us and had a bath tub to bathe the baby. We were right across from the elevator, which I thought would be noisy, but it wasn't too bad. Overall good stay. While i don't see us needing to stay in Hays again, i would definitely recommend this place.

The front desk staff was nice, and the room was decent, but the carpets looked dirty and they looked like they needed to be replaced.

Very nice and clean. Easy access. Friendly staff. Lighting in the bathroom was the only thing that wasn’t good. They need to add another light or maybe brighter light bulbs.

The bed and room were comfortable and clean, the bathroom was very clean and had the appropriate number of towels. The breakfast buffet food was very good, especially the mini-omelets and sausage. Have to give a shout-out to the girl working the breakfast buffet. She did a very good job keeping all the coffee and food supplied at the buffet. Excellent work skills and a nice young lady.

Check in when very smoothly! The front counter was ready when we arrived at 3:30pm, 30 mins ahead of our check in time. In the past I have found this not to be the case at other hotels. Breakfast was hot, clean and the nice lady taking care of the breakfast was very nice/helpful.

Check in was quick and easy. Front desk associate was very nice. Beds were comfortable and pillows were nice and fluffy. The carpet you can tell is older and stained. Other than that the room was clean. Convenient location right off I-70.

When my wife completed her shower (309), she was greeted by a black bug which I promptly killed and left on floor for housekeeping to see and hopefully report to management. Otherwise, personnel and breakfast was great,
