Rain shower was great and beddings was excellent. Housekeeping was very efficient. Front desk (Reception) was very helpful. We had great stay,

I received a complimentary upgrade, which was very nice because the normal sized rooms are a bit small. The staff were pleasant, however, I was surprised that they allowed hotel guests to use the lobby as their suitcase repacking area. It was ridiculous. Every day that I passed through the lobby I would have to negotiate around groups of people packing/unpacking their belongings in the small lobby. On one occasion, someone had actually plugged in her hair dryer and was blow-drying her hair…in the lobby! I guess this is pretty typical because the hotel staff didn’t seem to even notice.
The hotel is conveniently located in Chinatown where all kinds of restaurants and shopping are steps away. The MRT station is just a couple minutes walk from the hotel.

The hotel is located in the middle of Chinatown. Very close to subway station and busses. Great location also for going out in the evening. One problem, my moms room didn't have a closetand the room was quite tiny. But we had a big room and lots of closet space. All in all we had a great time there.

Property undergoing renovation , room setup architecture leaves something to be desired , small room as expected . Tv reception terrible but wasnt there to watch tv. Staff was helpful and friendly , room was clean and sufficient ,Stayed 17 days . Would stay again , probably not sufficient for the entitlement crowd .

Hotel was in a good location, really close to a 711 for those quick pick ups of bits and bobs. Close to a lot of nice spots. The room was a bit cramped but fine if all you're going to do is sleep or that -other- thing. Hot water completely cuts after about 15mins in the shower but it had modern-ish fixtures which was nice. Had to crawl over the foot of the bed to get to sleeping position. The elevator was a tad slow. Reception was very nice and even held my bags after checkout for a little bit which I appreciated. I would recommend only to those who aren't picky when it comes to space. I mean, you're on vacation, why are you spending inside the hotel anyway right? Get out there, Singapore is awesome.

The room i got is a Deluxe room.
Room is considered clean, however, its too rundown.
Curtains are full of stain and molds.
bedsheet and quilt cover is too old with stains.
Pillows are not pillows anymore.
Bath towels looks dirty too due to the stain. Cabinets are broken and with strong smell.
Sound proof is so bad, until i can hear what neighbor is talking - at 12am at night.

Good location but not feeling comfortable staying in the hotel. Hotel means not to provide any socket around the bed. Not good for working in the room

Starting from 7pm onwards, i can heard music and people talking along the corridor, I suspect were the house attendance... kind of creepy while resting in bed

The room has this weird mouldy smell. I suspected it’s from the carpentered floor. Room is also very dim, not enough lights.

This is Ina great location .was very hot in the hotel and smelled a bit musty/bad smell. Room was small but I was expecting it to be small and they upgraded me to a bigger room at no cost . Was just there 1 night , I would have stayed longer but was just on a layover for 21hours

Was expecting a comfortable room described by Procelain Hotel as 'Superior double' room. Room 312 has very little area to walk in. I was a solo traveller. I could not even open up my 35cm x 46cm cabin sized suitcase on the floor. Bed linen felt greasy so I asked for a clean bedsheet which I folded over to sleep between. At least the clean bedsheet felt cleaner.
On the reception desk is a sign, asking if you'd like an upgrade to a larger room (for extra cost). I've never seen that before in all my 40 years of travelling. There are some larger rooms but I'd definitely avoid room 312 if there are two people staying in it. In addition, the bed height was 82 cms high! Most unusual!

Storage space for luggage was adequate beneath the bed. Everything was very compact but neat and functional, and most importantly the bed was very comfortable. There wa no window in the room. The bathroom was a decent size with an excellent shower. Decent price and perfect for a night or two when in town.

Great central location! Close to everything - I could walk from the hotel everywhere!
Poor service. Staff were not exactly helpful. Mostly, they seemed in a hurry and reluctant to help. Absolutely no amenities. Not even an iron, or soap for the sink. You have to climb into the shower to grab liquid soap for your handwashing after using the toilet. No hooks in the bathroom for hanging anything. Very poorly thought out space.

The hotel has a lovely design, the room service is very thorough, and the beds and showers are comfortable. However the rooms are extremely small to the point of there being no space to sit down besides the bed, and while the full-room shower is nice to use it requires removing all items from the bathroom every time one uses it.

located at Chinatown. The room I stayed first night is by far worst than the one displayed at internet. Never could be rated 3 stars. The second night was at a much better room, but still beyond of what is expected for a 3 stars level.

The A/C gets hot sometimes. Goes on and off. The internet sucks. Keeps dropping. No adult content. They block the adult content. I pay for the rooms. You should give me food service. The terminator came in my room to spray while I was in the room. They say it wasnt toxic. But all bug spray all toxic to human health. I found a roach in my room. When I ask for some more towels. They say your room is already clean. You dont need any more towels.

I'm not normally fond of Hotels which have rooms with small windows, and more so - rooms which are tiny.
But in densely populated places like Singapore and Hong Kong its unavoidable, and this place DOES actually get it right.
Its centrally located, near Chinatown station. If you are getting the train from the Airport, avoid the tempation of getting off at Outram Park, its quite a LONG hike away.
