The hallways smelt like cat urine and our hotel door did not lock. We also had a busted lamp that didn’t turn on

I liked the fact that the room was a nice size. I did like that there were dingy towels with a hint of permanent brown staining provided, seeming as though they were old towels. I have always been given throughouly clean/white towels at many other hotels. Also, I was not aware of the $100.00 deposit upon booking my stay through Expedia.

I’ve stayed at this particular hotel several times and had a much better experience. This time I didn’t like it at all! Shower towel rod was literally hanging off and fell the minute I touched it.
There was a foul smell upon entering the room and It wasn’t as clean as It should be. I didn’t like my stay and wouldn’t go back there. Quite disappointing.

We left to go get something and when we returned at around nine am the staff had cleaned out our room and took our items out and left them at the front desk. It was not even time to check out and we left a do not disturb sign on our room. A very horrible experience especially since we were planning to stay another day or two.

The sleeping pillows were not proper and we asked for extra. They didn’t give it. The room was very dark, not proper lighting. And it smelled. We left a day early because it was uncomfortable.

Made a complaint 2 nights of the stay about strangers knocking on my door early in the morning (5am Thursday 30th of November) and covering my peephole. The lady working the front desk hung up on me because I was upset about it and did not feel safe. I went down at 6am and talked to some other patrons who had the same problem and told the lady I was going to talk to the manager and would like a refund because of the way she handled the situation. I was going to have them check the cameras to find out who was causing the problems. The lady called the police to have me removed before I could talk to her manager to protect her inability to handle a safety/security concern of a customer. I work as an Azure Cloud Engineer for a prominent company here in Houston and at 54 have never been asked to leave a hotel. However, I did get a refund but I think I should have been refunded for the entire stay. Want to feel safe and secure, do not stay here.

Great stay. We were in town for a horse show at Great Southwestern Arena and it was convenient and less expensive than the host hotel, that was no closer. Room was clean and maid service was daily. Nice room with coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator. We will definitely stay again next time we are in town.

When we walked into the room it was 88°, they had jacked the heat all the way up. We had to leave for 6 hours for it to cool down, never got below 80°. The bed DID NOT HAVE REAL PILLOWS. They expected us to sleep with throw pillows, also the mattress is the worst, cheapest, cool mattress I’ve ever experienced. Also very weak water pressure in the shower.

They charged me more for food I bought at the store. The hotel is very dark. They gave us a very far away and abandoned room that looks old and dark. The atmosphere is dark.
Breakfast is good but not varied.

Horrible smell. And my shower didn’t work. Toilet didn’t flush.
So at 7am I have to call someone to fix the shower so I could leave. Then the guy wants to give me a tutorial on how to turn it and push in and turn then pull out.
No it’s 7am. Your hotel sucks and I never had to worry about this prior. Fix your shower handle.

No handicapped room as requested! But overall, the stay was very good! The front desk clerk was amazingly helpful in trying to get us back into our handicapped reservation, but the hotel had no more rooms like that available.
She also went out of her way to gather data for us for restaurant choices. The room itselft was very clean and the beds super comfortable.

The hotel was very comfortable and clean. I enjoy hot showers and was very pleased that the water gets super hot because some places that you stay the water barely gets hot. Staff at front desk were ok and what I mean by that is speaking to guest when they pass by barely unless we spoke or if you needed something. The pool did not have the hot tub as it showed with the hotel. Breakfast was decent with eggs, turkey sausage, waffle maker cereal etc...Overall it was pretty good staying at this property.
