We enjoyed our stay but not real comfortable going out at night. I also want to commend the lady who seemed to be in charge of the breakfast on Sunday, Dec. 24 as well as the man who was helping her. Every food item was always stocked, the areas where people serve themselves always kept clean, the dining room also kept clean. Very enjoyable.

I liked the people at the front desk.

Great place to stay in Pittsburgh. Woll definitely stay again. The front desk was excellent and friendly.

Disappointed in the breakfast - oatmeal was a congealed mess; bread products were of the lowest possible quality. We like the river view rooms best.

They are in the process of some renovations. The rooms need some new items such as upholstered chairs. Staff was nice.

Property is river front and a beautiful patio with a working fireplace for relaxing along with a peaceful night air and an adult beverage of your choice (BYOB). Property is currently in going renovations and will be beautifully adored upon completion. Staff is amazing and friendly, housekeeping works hard to maintain a clean environment. Close to shopping and sightseeing.

Great stay

Fire pit was nice pool was warm no real issues

First of all Expedia didn’t send our reservation to Hampton so that held up check in. Then the first room the lock was stuck out so the door wouldn’t shut. The second room had bugs in the bed. The third room had not been serviced after the last guest. Finally after moving our things 4 times the room was good. All rooms had dust in the heater vents and dirty carpet. None of the bathrooms were hooked up to an exhaust fan. The desk attendant was great. She was very helpful and patient with us. Very good employee. I would give her 5 stars.

I would like a credit I chose this hotel mainly for the pool, gym and tub. Pool was shut down this morning. I could not take a bath at all drainer would not close. Reported about the tub, front desk said someone will fix it in the morning 7/8ish was not fixed. I have a video of the tub.

The door to the room could not be deadbolted, and the Wifi was very hard to connect with.

The Hotel needs to be refurbished. The rooms were OK but they and the hotel looks old and grubby. Our room was not clean and after numerous requests to get it cleaned, it was only cleaned on the 5th time and then it was a cursory attempt. The area it was in was safe and there were plenty of places to eat and shop within walking distance. Shame about the rooms though.

A nice find

The hotel was fine -- comfortable, clean, quiet, pleasant atmosphere. Accolades to the staff and support personnel - they were all personable, efficient, and especially helpful. I thank Aja Hardin, especially, for her personal help and information-related advice.

This hotel is perfect if you're starting or ending the GAP trail ride. It's about 9 miles from the end of the GAP trail so we rode from the start of the trail and back the day before we started our GAP ride. We left our car parked in there lot for 4 nights until we got hauled back from Cumberland MD. Everything worked perfectly. The hotel if very accommodating. This hotel is within walking distance of a huge area of shops, even has a costco next door. Highly recommend this location

Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Views were great. I will definitely be back.

The breakfast was very accommodating to all ages making it perfect for families with little ones. We were impressed!

Delayed check in by an hour, no sheets for the pull out bed available without going to reception. Random wet spots in the room and a lack of customer service to resolve said issues.

Way too expensive, over priced for what it was. Weekend getaway with the wife and cost over 400 dollars. Room was already dirty, food left in refrigerator. I’m a Hilton Honors Gold member and this was not the Standard. Also a loyal Hotels.com member and it wasn’t my best choice.

The wifi at the hotel was down almost the whole week I was there. The routers were working—there was an issue with the login screen. This was a tremendous impediment (I was trying to do work and so were other guests) and no solution or accommodation was offered.

Rooms were way over due for an updating, broken CFL lights (they contain mercury) never had the room serviced, both elevators did not work the 3 nights we were there, we were on the 4th floor. Gym equipment was broken.

We attended a family wedding in Pittsburgh, and our family had several rooms at this hotel. All of the rooms were in terrible state, stains on carpets, cupboards full of dust that had not been cleaned in months. Stains on room doors, bathroom door frames were full of mould - as were some of the bath tub edges. The furniture in the bedrooms and bathroom was so old, it was full of scratches and in general very poor condition. The rooms were dark and dull. The beds were not particularly comfortable. To top it off, during our 5 day stay, we asked twice for the bedsheets to be changed and were told it would be done, once we complained it had not been done - the reception staff simply say that Housekeeping finish at 5pm and nothing could be done. Overall the cleanliness in this hotel is very severely lacking. The breakfast area was poorly managed, and not cleaned during breakfast hours. Generally, there were crumbs all round the bread area and toaster. Very poor standards for a Hilton property. I would avoid staying at this property.

Dirty and unmanageable

Property is not in good condition. The hallway on each floor is without ventilation, humid and hot. Long wait for elevator because one of the two elevator was out of service for 2 days and I didn’t see anyone fixing it. First room I got had drain problem and it smelled. The only part out of my stay that I can consider good is breakfast. Overall experience is bad and I will not stay at any Hampton if this is how they inspect and maintain their properties.

We had the best experience by far from hotel staff that I have ever had. Front desk people went above and beyond- will be our go to stay for our yearly Pittsburgh trip. Thank you!

Nice place to stay!

Staff at hotel are excellent. The complimentary breakfast is hot and delicious. Rooms are clean and spacious. They have a fire pit over looking river. Walking path near by .

Had a good nights sleep and a delicious breakfast in the morning with lots of hot options.

The room was spacious, and the bed was comfortable, however, there was what appeared to be sprayed soda on the wall that had dried in the sheets on the bed appeared to be used. Luckily, I travel with an extra set of sheets, so I used my own.
