The hotel is beautiful. The breakfast was cold every morning. The day of departure the cleaning staff was at my room way before checkout. I had arranged a late checkout and was okayed the day of arrival but the day of checkout the morning staff was very rude and said there is no late checkout. I told her someone should have told the staff on 1/11/24.

Twins enjoyed the pool. The only negative thing I can say ( & its really not negative) the kitchen floor which we walked in on was extremely slippery. One twin was able to stop her fall but unfortunately I was not. I fell and hurt my knee pretty bad. I did call front desk & notified them. So maybe a little rug would help.

Pros: The staff was very personable, efficient and professional. It was a good, safe, quiet location that’s very convenient to lots of stores, restaurants, etc. The 1 bedroom suite is very spacious and the kitchen is pretty well equipped. Cons: I’m not happy about finding 6 pieces of hair in the beds & bathroom though! 3 pieces on the pillows of the 2 beds and 3 in the bathroom. I’m a bit of a germaphobe and clean freak, so that set me off a little, but luckily the bathroom and bedding looked clean otherwise or I would’ve complained and asked for a different room.

Convenient location, clean, friendly staff

Stayed one night in handicapped accessible 2 br 2 bath suite. The young man at check in was extremely pleasant, welcoming and informative. He directed us as to where to park for closest access to our room. The hotel location was right off the highway with plenty of food and shops around. We were meeting our daughter and grandchildren to exchange holiday gifts. We didn't realize our granddaughter's gift needed batteries. When I went to front desk to see if they had any available for purchase, they sent a fellow from maintenance to our room- he not only provided us complimentary new batteries, he went and found a small phillips head screwdriver which was needed to open the battery chamber and then installed them for us. The breakfast buffet was well stocked and had a good selection. The seating area was well appointed. Room was well equipped to handle 3 adults and 3 smaller children. Accessible bathroom was spacious and accommodated wheelchair perfectly. Room was clean and living area attractive. Indoor pool was fun for kids. Would definitely go back and highly recommend this property.

The staff were great. The pool was the perfect temperature. The room was clean. The only thing i didnt like was that the curtains were designed not to close fully. I like privacy guys!!

Sadly the wrong night was booked and since the guest never received an email it was not noticed and now we have to rebook and all because the Hilton honors app was not working properly and I used Travelocity for the first time.

The staff is very professional and passionate on their work. The breakfast was great and they vary the menu. The pool it was warm and perfect for the actual weather. I recommend this property.

Overall, our experience was pleasant enough. First the good: The hotel was quaint and inviting with a cozy lobby area with a fireplace and open eating space behind it. Complimentary breakfast was provided on Saturday and Sunday and the spread was actually quite impressive (eggs, french toast, hash browns, bagels, muffins, cereal, coffee, juice and more). The indoor pool, while not large, seemed like a go-to spot for most of the guests. There is a small gym, an outdoor firepit area and a half court basketball court. Certainly enough to do for a weekend. It's fairly centrally located near shopping and food. Since there is no restaurant - just a snack nook - this was important. The room itself (1 bedroom suite) was not big by any means, but pleasant enough for a family of four. The kitchen was a very nice touch (microwave, full fridge/freezer, sink and stove). The bad: The floors are extremely thin - we heard almost every footstep above us. Normally not an issue during the day when there is ample noise in your own room to drown it out, but the guests above us were stomping and running around until 2:30am. Despite multiple calls to the front desk who assured us it would be handled, the stampede continued unabated for hours. Takeaway: If you have discourteous guests who are unaware of how much noise they are creating for the lower floor guests, I do not recommend this hotel. But if you are lucky enough to not have that occurrence, the hotel is otherwise quite nice.

Felt great being here! Parking was convenient and the stay was clean and fulfilling.

Clean, comfortable suite, perfect after a long day of driving, especially since we had 2 kids with us.We only stayed one night, but it was roomy and made our stay so much easier when traveling with children. The staff was polite and friendly. Will book again if coming through this way.

We really appreciated that the room was comfortable and spacious. It had an ample sized sitting area and a small but adequate kitchen. The breakfast was tasty and it had a good selection of eggs, sausage, potatoes, oatmeal, various breads, coffee and juices. We also liked the convenience store for snacks. The front staff was excellent and the general area was well maintained. The only thing that could be improved was the smoke detector light blinking all night.

Nice rooms, pool, outside sitting area

The room was very clean and comfortable. Staff and service were amazing. My only complaint is that the pool wasn't working once we decided to go. Other than that, great place to stay and minutes from lake compounce.

The hotel was fine. Clean and quiet

If it weren’t for the excellent staff I would rate the property, basically the facility poor. I really can’t praise the staff friendliness and customer service high enough from the house keeping staff to the front desk staff. No matter what we ask for or needed they were on top of it! Now for the facilities. The furniture in the rooms is still there from the seventies. The furniture is run down with nicks and stains. We put sheets on the living room furniture so we would feel comfortable sitting on it. I guess the Hiltons are low on money these days :) but I would recommend an overhaul on decor. Again we didn’t have the heart to complain because the staff were excellent.

The hotel staff was very friendly. Really, my only complaint was the kitchen supplies or lack there of. I had to get creative in cooking which, isn’t a bad thing but for longer stays, eh, no.

It was a nice stay. Very clean. Staff was very nice. House keeping especially the nice older man that came up and helped us with a few things. I dont know his name. House keeping ladies were so nice!!! Breakfast was ok....no waffles or pancakes...bacon only one day....it was ok....the lady that keeps everything running in the breakfast area was so nice and she kept everything full and clean! We would stay here again!

The hotel it self is a great property my issue was mainly with house keeping . I’m not sure if my room was cleaned but my sheets had a weird smelling stain .

Homewood Suites, was a wonderful stay. The location was perfect! For those coffee lovers, Dunkin Donuts is steps aways from the main entrance. Lake Compounce was very close, as well as Target for any last minute items. We also found a great bowling alley and arcade too! The rooms in Homewood Suites exceeded our expectation. They were very big, had a sitting area. We definitely will return!

Every was great

My family of four enjoyed our suite stay. One of my requirements when traveling is, free breakfast and this hotel had it. I would improve that aspect because, there was little to no food that looked good. This is my opinion, ive stayed at plenty hotels with free breakfast and no pancakes or waffles is a no go.

It’s a quiet area, breakfast buffet and the staffs are very nice. I don’t like the windows shade, the sun is on your face early in the morning.
