Great value very nice people great central open courtyard to relax and have a cigar!!!

This is an old motor court hotel that has been redone. No matter how nice the amenities are, there’s no getting around the fact that our room was only 9’ x 15’ with 2 twin beds. It was like sleeping in a storage locker. Getting up the cramped, uneven stairway was difficult for my 6’6” husband whose knees are bad. ADVICE: don’t accept a room unless it’s a queen or king. Twins will put you on the second floor. It’s robbery that they charged $175 for a room like this. We checked into the Best Western after one night.

We love the Iron Horse Inn. It’s right where we want to stay in Old Town Cottonwood. That being said, it does seem (after numerous visits) that the general maintenance has slipped a little over time. We still plan on staying there when we’re in the area, so just an FYI.

Absolutely loved the location, very walkable. The rooms are cozy and well appointed. If the weather had cooperated the courtyard would have been amazing.

I have stayed at this hotel over 7 times in the past few years. Always friendly service,nice clean cozy rooms,nice courtyard to have your morning coffee in,in dwtn so walking distance to all the great restaurants,tasting rooms and bars,)

Our check-in host was personable, friendly and helpful, on our stay at the motel and recommendations for local places to visit and eat. The motel had a charming courtyard and our room was clean and comfortable. It was perfectly located in the heart of old town Cottonwood and a welcome relief from the busy Sedona.

Have stayed here numerous times throughout the years and each time we have enjoyed our stay. The rooms are small but functional, wifi works well, courtyard is beautiful, Starbucks coffee machine has great coffee at no charge, and you can walk up and down the Historic downtown without getting in a car. We'll be back!

For as “old fashion” as this place was, it was pretty nice! Small room, comfortable bed & pillows. Large TV. Right in Ild Town, so everything was walkable.

Idk why this place gets such great reviews, it was mediocre at best.
Worst situation in terms the bathroom.
Had to store everything in the main room and walk items back and forth.
Sink ridiculous, it was so small the water was running onto the floor.
No maid service.
Ceiling fan was too loud and strong to turn on.

We loved the walk ability to every thing we needed. The inn was cozy. I would recommend a room on the 1st floor which open to a nice courtyard. Quiet, comfortable and a reasonable price.

Downtown location in walking distance to wine tasting rooms and cafes.
Cons-rock hard beds. Don’t book on the second floor—the stairways are steep, tight, and have small treadways.

Lovely little hotel in a very walkable area of the historic district. Clean, well appointed room with friendly staff and a coffee/tea bar open 24 hours/day. Our only issue was that we like to sleep in a dark room and all of the bright courtyard lights are on all night. Bring a sleep mask if you prefer a dark room. We would definitely stay again!

This is a quaint comfy hotel, the only issue we have is the room blinds. They are modern but not at all room darkening. They patio bistro lights shine all night and if goal is to relax and get extra sleep the room isn’t dark because of this and should be addressed. Otherwise very nice place if aren’t interested in having room dark for sleep

This was the cutest little room in Cottonwood. We’d definitely stay here again. Perfect location to be able to walk around to all the local restaurants.

The room I stayed in was tiny the bathroom is. A. Shoe box no counter or space to move , it claims is very clean yet shower is plugged maybe a drain full of hair , I hate it that . I was on second floor no access for handicapped only stairs

Great little boutique hotel on the main strip in Cottonwood. Numerous little shops and restaurants within short walking distance. Sedona is a short drive for hiking trails- I do not like staying in Sedona because it’s far too crowded the past several years. I enjoy staying here for short trips. Hotel is super cute and only drawback is the tiny bathroom but for a couple nights it’s fine. I think the bedding should be upgraded for the cold weather.

We had a wonderful stay last weekend. Was able to check in early, front desk was amazing, free Starbucks coffee whenever you want it. Rooms are small but very quaint. Everything within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.
