We stopped in Fort Davis for the night, the Inn was clean and comfortable

Room was clean and comfortable. Good quality towels and linens. Half the lights and one outlet were not functioning in our room. The staff was very responsive when we informed them but they were unable to fix during our stay. Breakfast area is a little small for the breakfast rush.

Room was clean. Room 101 shares a wall with their laundry and they start early, like 6 a.m. The exterior of the property is not cared for. Lots of garbage and broken glass, beware if you take your pet out.

I have stayed at this hotel several times before and they updated the property since I last stayed in April 2019. It's a perfect place to stay if going to a Star Party at the MacDonald Observatory. The town of Ft Davis is quaint and within 2 miles of the facility.

Drove up ready to check-in but door was locked. Luckily sign had two phone numbers which i called. Answered immediately to give me a more detailed ETA. Check-in was smooth. Room was large and beds were comfortable.
Though it says it was recently remodeled the shower needed attention. The shower was ok but couldn't change the shower head and the whole unit felt like it would fall out of wall.
Breakfast was your basic. Coffee, oatmeal, fresh fruit, Loaf of bread out to make toast and a pancake machine that wasn't working too well. Cereal dispenser had only one of three reservoirs filled. Milk and OJ were gallon containers in the mini fridge. I was hoping for some peanut butter and yogurt for protein but at least there were bananas.
Loved the fact that it was a motel that was reasonably priced for the one night so we could enjoy the Star Party at the Observatory.
Overall, a very pleasant stay and if in Fort Davis again would stay here again.

The place has been remodeled. Everything updated. It was clean. It was a smoky room. I would have rather chosen another room but it was ok. The mattress was a bit stiff. Good thing I was only there for a night. The price was cheap. You get for what you pay. No complaints. I will stay again and try their breakfast. Not much of a selection but will let you know 4 stars overall

The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. If I could change anything, I would add softer lighting next to the beds. The lighting in the room was very bright.

Basic, no frills motel - clean and comfortable. The A/C worked well and the blankets were very warm. Beautiful view. Breakfast was not great - pancake machine was out- of- order and there wasn't a waffle maker as seen in the pictures. Only cereal, milk/ juice/ coffee, eggs and packaged muffins were available the first day; and no eggs the second day. The tub had sewage backup the second day.

The motel was older but kept up very nicely. It was close to the McDonald Observatory which was good for us. The price was very good.

Property was clean, convenient, and the beds were very comfortable. TV, hair dryer, coffee maker all worked smoothly. Room certainly not soundproof and continental breakfast was uninspiring. Overall, should we return to Fort Davis, we would certainly consider this place without hesitation.

The decor was unique but pleasant. Loved the vinyl flooring because you could tell it was squeaky clean. The mattress was in good condition. A few things needed to be repaired which we brought to the owner's attention. Only bothersome thing was the dog next door which barked for an hour or so each morning. Otherwise it was very quiet.

This was a very basic property that suited our needs; clean enough, small fridge, big TV, pet friendly, very limited breakfast (coffee, a piece of fruit, I believe cereal) but I didn't come for the breakfast; as the name would imply, it adjacent to an RV park and the surrounding area was a little messy/dirty and could benefit from a little TLC

A very basic but clean property in the middle of nowhere. The breakfast is basic but consistent and the rooms are fine for the price. My only complaint was that the ice machine was broken and had obviously been that way for a while. I would have no problems staying here again if we come back to the area.

Only bad thing i can say is the bed was very uncomfortable and someone left our window open so our room was warm. Other than that it was a good stay.

Nice updated rooms with comfortable beds. Loved the size of the fridge! The ice machine wasn’t working while we were there but the owner/manager brought in ice. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great!

The view of the mountains was great, clean room, direct tv. It was cool in evening and I had my diner at a picnic table by a dry desert creek next to motel. Also washed clothes in laundry. Restaurant was right next door and one a few blocks away. Easy to get ice machine right outdoors.
