This was the worst stay I've ever had at any hotel. I was on the top floor (room 403) and from the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out, Friday - Sunday, every 4 or 5 minutes like clockwork there was a TERRIBLY LOUD humming noise reverberating through the walls. It was not a noisy guest, it was the building itself. My best guess is there was some kind of HVAC equipment on the roof that was malfunctioning. The first night I barely slept because of the noise. I figured they'd have addressed the issue by the second night but nope. I went and bought some ear plugs but wow, those are sooo uncomfortable to leave in your ears for more than a few minutes and sleeping on them was very painful, so again I slept poorly. I took a video on my phone that captures the noise clearly which I still have. This was at least my 4th time staying in this hotel and it used to be my go-to place when visiting in town, but I will not likely stay here again.

The breakfast had a lot of options. The hotel is showing some wear and tear. I gues it’s not customary to provide lotion and that was missed.

The hotel was overall nice, but the wallpaper in the bathroom had stains and was peeling in some spots. Wallpaper in the room peeling also. Room was much smaller than expected and the shower door wouldn’t stay shut and would get the floor soaking wet

The Fairfield is reliably clean, well cared for, and affordable. The service is kind and accommodating. I wish our first floor room didn't have an outside light blaring into the room, but other than that it was great.

I think the breakfast is great. Room is small and dark and we found a bug in the bed. The price on Saturday is steep. I can spend the night in nyc for the same amount.

Overall a pleasant stay and cleaner than most.
Asked for a quiet room- put on 3rd floor. Heard upstairs room kids jumping and stomping above late into the night.
Hallway doors slam shut and make my door shake a bit which is a bit nerve racking

We weren’t told about breakfast when we checked in. Also requested a feather free room and it was not.

Location is excellent, very short drive to downtown N’ton. I was there for a family get together and the breakfast serving area is available for sitting around to chat with a group. Good breakfast selections, attentive and friendly staff. I needed help with my luggage and the young lady who helped me didn’t want to accept a tip but I insisted.

Very quiet. Bkfst bar is a cut above. I wish there was a pub style restaurant for lsyr night snacks or s drink.

Nice staff and very comfortable room. There was no exercise bike in the gym- just two treadmills, a weight bench, and an elliptical machine. The pool was not particularly appealing looking. The breakfast was good, and there is a very pleasant seating area outside. It's about a 15 minute walk to the central downtown area.

The people hanging around the property and in the parking lot were a little scary. They were not staying at the hotel.

We particularly liked this Fairfield Inn. Everything looked new and was in nice condition. Staff were friendly. Everything worked! Very convenient for the horse show.

Check-in and check-out were easy, the staff were pleasant and helpful, the room and common areas were very clean, the beds were comfy, and the breakfast was great. The only downside was that the pool was closed during our stay; they had some sort of maintenance issue. However, to the staff's credit, they were clearly actively working on the issue.

Did not like that there were only 2 towels, 2 cups, less than 1/2 roll of toilet paper in a rm for 4 people. Also no blow dryer was in the room

Pool is down for maintenance and staff has no idea when it will be back up. Website should state that! If I had kids who were wanting to swim that would have been a huge problem. Breakfast area was not even remotely kept clean during breakfast service. That is disappointing. Shower in room was great! Room AC cycling on and off every 6-8 minutes is ridiculous. Thermostat clicking every time is also ridiculous. Upgrade is needed on that.

It would be helpful to have a note on the room door, reminding hotel guests to not let it slam.
It would be helpful to have breakfast foods labeled with ingredients. For those of us who do not eat dairy, it’s good to know if cheese or milk are in the items.
Also, having some non-dairy items like a soy or coconut milk, yogurt would be appreciated.

The hotel has definitely made some improvements - and it wasn’t ‘bad’ before the improvements. This is my preferred hotel when I’m in the area, so I’ve always thought it was a good place to stay. However, they have added bar service in the lobby some nights, they have upgraded to allow you to access streaming services on your TV, and the continental breakfast also seemed a bit better. The fitness center is very very small. Cardio equipment and some DBs only. The pool is also small, but my son still always enjoys jumping around in it. We will continue to stay here.

We lived here in town for for 26 years & get together with a large group of old/ dear friends a few times a year. So convenient, ez parking and ez walk to town in nice weather! Nice stff

The property was great and very clean. Breakfast was very good too! Only issue was the temperature of the pool room itself. Pool water was good, but the air temp in the room was just a bit too cold.
