I stayed just one night but the hotel was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was close to shopping and places to eat too.

Pros: Centralized location and comfortable bed.
Cons: The pool and hot tub were "out of service," I could smell cigarette smoke from inside my room, it was loud in the hallway, the coffee pot and bathroom weren't very clean and there was hair on the floor and in the shower before I used either of those areas and there was mold in various parts of the shower. Also, parts of the arm of the desk chair were falling apart.

We reserved a room with a king bed, but got a room with 2 queens. When we asked why, they didn’t have a king available. The room did not appear to have been vacuumed well- there were black fuzzies on the floor near the bed. And we were charged $8+ for the bottled water next to the coffee maker - there was no sign indicating these were not free.

It wasn't the best and it wasn't the worst. It was cleanish. Had some issues with the wifi and had to go down to front desk for help since the phone in our room didn't work. Pool was closed so that was another bummer.

Room was exactly what we expected. Clean and nice. However my one complaint is that after spending nearly $200 a night I do not expect to have to pay for breakfast. $10 a person for basically cereal and juice is a joke especially when the pool is closed. If an expected amenity is not available don’t ask me to pay for breakfast

The place seems out dated and the restaurant you couldn’t get service. The place was so noisy. Kids running up and down the halls. Pool was broken.

I was in the second floor. Other guests were very load from 11pm til about 1:30 am. Slamming doors running up and down the halls. Banging on doors.

The pool and hot tub were closed even though there was no mention of it when I booked. The hotel was so noisy that we weren’t able to get any sleep. We paid extra for breakfast which was soggy French toast. Would recommend finding another hotel.

The only thing that happened during a winter storm was that elevators did not work. However, this did not affect us much since the hotel is only 4 floors high.

All was well with this property EXCEPT rooms are "refreshed" every 2 days. When our rom was due to be made up, the housekeeper made the bed and took the tip I had left. I had to go to the front desk for fresh towels (we had placed our used towels on the floor as is customary), soap & shampoo. Wastebaskets had not been emptied no had the coffee supplies. Quite disappointing when everything else had been so nice.

Didn't get any sleep the bed was uncomfortable and flat pillows which made it hard for me to enjoy my stay

The all you can eat buffet was sort of a joke. There were a few pieces of soggy bacon and some eggs oatmeal look disgusting and everything else you had to buy? I've had much better free continental breakfast at hotels that I paid less today at

We had a nice stay and the room was absolutely fine. Our only complaint was that the bar was running out of multiple items we were interested in. The bartender was very apologetic and suggested alternatives.

Very nice hotel. Expansive lobby with very good restaurant/bar. Nice buffet or cooked to order breakfast available at a minimal price. Everything exceptionally clean. Great place to stay in Akron close to downtown theaters.

I’ve stayed at this hotel several times. For the price that they are charging now I felt it was the average at best. We didn’t leave a tag outside of our door, but our towels never got refreshed, and our room never got cleaned. The bedding wasn’t put together with the comforter inside the duvet, and was kind of sloppily put on. We weighed in a really long time for the bartender to make our drinks and there wasn’t very many people up there. Felt it was not up to the standards. It used to be. Overall it was OK. We are not difficult people and didn’t feel like complaining was necessary as it was no big deal.

I had to come into town for a funeral. This location was close to the funeral home. The room was nicely appointed and clean. The breakfast was very good and affordable.

This was our second stay at the Hilton Garden Inn.
It was as good this time as the first. We enjoy the outside patio area. The room was very clean and comfortable. The couple of times we needed something the staff was friendly and accommodating.

The hotel and staff were wonderful. Unfortunately Expedia failed on their end and my booking dates that were sent to the hotel were wrong and I had to spend an hour at the front desk and on the phone with Expedia to get things straightened out. Not what I wanted to do after driving all day.
