Boreale” Ranch was only an overnight stay and it was the best stay of the all the place I’ve traveled to in the past 3 years . Marsha is the best. I felt like this was my home away from home . Great direction, perfect surroundings, very clean , peaceful and inviting . I was in room #4 which had a great balcony with a beautiful view . Tucked away off the highway , quiet & serene .
I chose to have dinner at Boreale’ Ranch as town was about 30 minutes way and it was excellent. Appetizers, a main course which included wine along with a dessert which was absolutely perfect . The next morning breakfast was served which again was excellent.Next time passing through Whitehorse this we’ll be our stop . They have a wonderful walking / biking trail that goes to one of the many lakes in region along with a great out hot tub to relax in . They also have a great selection of tea’s , coffee available at all time (included) and assorted beverages ( adult type ) available to purchase, all at very reasonable priced .

I'd give Boreale Ranch high ratings in every area. It is very clean, the common areas are welcoming, there is a nice trail around the property for our legs stiff from the car, the coffee and tea are locally made, and best of all, it includes a friendly greeting from the official ranch dog, who was happy to make us less homesick for our own pooch. I'd suggest a larger sign on the highway to make it easier to find, but otherwise, I'd rank this ranch as a stellar stop.

Wonderful place to refresh after 2 weeks of travel. Staff was outstanding, very warm and friendly. Accommodations were wonderful. Newer, very clean. There is a common area with couches and a library to hang out if you are inclined. Well done Boreale Ranch!

When you first book this property you don’t realize it's kinda an air bnb... rooms out in the country, when you pull up it's a house with kids playing, goats and lots of where do I go from here. Lol, in the end, my room was nice and away from the house and very very quiet. There was floor heating in part of my room and it stayed cozy warm...shower was awesome, they offer shampoo and conditioner which is nice...

Great property about 30-40 min from Whitehorse but well worth the stay. Owners are incredibly accomodating, communicate often and take service to the next level. The common areas in the ranch are great for relaxing and interacting with other guests and if you have to leave before regular breakfast then they'll pack something to go. Hang out by the fire, hot tub or on your porch and check out the stars. Well worth it!

A real jewel of a hotel. Very welcoming and friendly owners. Fantastic room, common areas and grounds around the property. Saw the Aurora Borealis from the purpose built viewing deck behind the property. The included breakfast was also first class.

Heaven on Earth—especially after a long motorcycle ride. Top notch lodging (I stayed in one of the suites), common areas, customer service, meals...all surrounded by pristine nature around and (if you're lucky) northern lights (or stars) above.
And let ranch dog Snuggs lead you on a walk through the woods!
It's not just a great place to stay, it has a home away from home vibe, because the team and ranch is warm and thoughtful at every turn.
Absolutely hope to return!

Most comfortable bed I've ever slept in! Place was immaculate and the location was gorgeous. Our one disappointment was that the dinner we were looking forward to as advertised on the website is "We incorporate traditional northern foods into our meals, so our guests get the pleasure of tasting wild cranberries, elk, salmon and melt in your mouth Arctic char" ended up being chicken thighs. While the whole meal was delicious and more than enough food for the group of us, it certainly wasn't what we expected. I understand that there are seasons and availability that play into eating local but we did feel let down. However that being said I would absolutely return and even at 45$ the meal is still a great deal considering you are in the Yukon. Would recommend!

I never did end up seeing the lights during my stay here, but the staff (including resident dogs Jack and Scotch) and the ranch staff more than made up for it. From the amazing food to the amazing people, from the comfortable home style feel of the ranch to the great scenery and walking trails as well as help to get into and around town. These people are awesome! This place is awesome! Cannot recommended it enough!
P. S. I want to kidnap Jack and take home home with me to Australia :)

I stayed here for two days with my family and we loved it, our kids had a great time playing in the woods and exploring. Wish we had more time there and to take in some of their excursions.

This is a lovely B&B located about 25 miles from Whitehorse. Marsha and Dave are fantastic hosts. Although we went to see the Northern Lights (and didn’t), we had a great time and met sone interesting people. The scenery is spectacular. We took a day drive to Skagway, and I highly recommend it. We returned to a spectacular home cooked dinner!
